There are thousands of drummers out there playing with sincere passion, all the way from high school talent shows to stadium gigs! It was a refreshing slap in the face when everyone was going the way of Colin Richardson style tightness and refinement for their guitar tone and using Dual Rectifiers for everything. Don’t get me wrong, that’s an amazing sound in its own right, but nothing sounds quite as aggressive and raw as Slipknot’s self titled.
