Mark is my favourite guitarist next to David Gilmour! I must say I prefer the tone on his old strat,but he always makes the guitar sing,speak,scream and whisper like no other guitarist does in my opinion!

Hi, Thanks for your comment. I really need to start using some social media thing to let people know where I'm hoping to play. I've never been good at that stuff , what should I use now I have a decent smart phone ? Upton was brilliant and since then I've played in Blackpool a few times as I was up there for a while If plans work out I should be down in Poole and Bournemouth for a week or so from later this week.

If I could, I would gladly offer you a job as a studio musician, but I'm just a retired mathematician and therefore lack the necessary connections. Moreover, I live in Germany in the Bavarian Forest. It's very beautiful here, but unfortunately, there isn't much of an audience. Your music moves me deeply, and it was musicians like you who made me end my own music career very early on. I knew I could never play like a Mark Allen, a Brian May, Joe Walsh, Eric Johnson, or Eric Clapton. Thank you for your music. Olaf
I play (no expert) but when I play I can relate to the "pain" finding those special notes. Sometimes you go for a particular note and manage to hit it and its like having three teeth out at once. 😀😀
