The commercial drivers license is under Federal regulation which means regardless to what state you are in obtaining a passenger endorsement is the same. Now in regards to adding the Passenger endorsement to your CDL, all that is require is that you pass the written examination. Once you pass the written exam motor vehicle will charge you a fee to add it on to your CDL. You don't take a road test at all. Now if you want to obtain a school bus endorsement (S) you must pass the written exam and rode test. Motor vehicle places great importance on this endorsement because you will be driving children. So they want to make sure you qualify
Congrats on becoming a commercial pilot man! You went from Greyhound to Blueskies that is impressive wow! I am considering Grey Hound in the future even though it's been purchased by flicks I think is the new ownership name none the less seems like great pay I mean lot of people complain but comparing GH to alot of other class B jobs with Airbrake & P endorsements the shit seems like a nice offer! 😂 who knows maybe I will become a pilot too after that one. Cheers man!
Day off is dot mandated time off after working consecutive days. Second rest is working more than 2 days without returning to your home base. 2nd rest is extra pay
Phillip, please inform new hires that if they leave greyhound for any reason the first 3 months you will be responsible for paying greyhound 8700 dollars. If you leave at first 6 months you will be responsible for 6500 dollars. If you leave after first 9 months you are responsible for 4500 and between 9 to 12 months 2500. I was offered 10000 bonus but could not sign giving greyhound the opportunity to place a judgement against me that first year. I could not accept greyhounds training costing 8700.
Phillip Cooke background was 3 weeks ago I couldn’t start phase 1 until I did drug and background Got a contingent letter offering me the position on the same day as background stating my start date is the 16th of September
That depends on your class. I waited about 2 weeks for background and medical then had a week or so to do first half of the module before class started. Not sure if there is a specific time. I did all the modules before I started the class.
Phillip Cooke yea it was I was instructed to complete all modules by September 9th but I completed them by the 4th just waiting on them to call me or email me with travel information to the school I’m guessing and hoping
if you go through the grayhound training yes, but i would pay for a local school because if you have your licenses and endorsements before you apply you get a bigger sign on bonus.

$20.92 an hour but we are on a 5 year pay scale. Coming from DC you will take a pay cut because you are on the 3 year pay scale. You will drop 8%. Plus California drivers get paid weekly.

When I say phase 1 I’m talking about phase one training that’s done at home before you go to the school
That depends on your class. I waited about 2 weeks for background and medical then had a week or so to do first half of the module before class started. Not sure if there is a specific time. I did all the modules before I started the class.

@@RCM_II ohhh wow nahhh ill just stay here lol !!
Thank you!!! ☮ & ❤
Sf drivers gets 23.01 and we need drivers here !
That's because even at $23.01 drivers still can't afford to live in SF.
We need more drivers, how come a lot of drivers are quitting, or not coming to work, and we have to stand and wait for a driver?
Pay, scheduling, quality of life, working conditions, and management issues causes a lot of drivers to quit.
Are you now looking to transition into a career in aviation?
Once I finish my licenses yes
