A friend of mine is trying to get a job as a Bus Driver, so I have shared this item along with some other stuff for him to watch, I am also watching this Vlog out of interest and to help my friend. He told me that he recently failed a test and so he has asked me to get the test info so he could practice and pass the test. He said there were English and Maths tests and that it is no longer easy to pass. I told him that it was probably an aptitude test to avoid wasting his time and also their time. I also mentioned to him that, 5 candidates could pass and it would not be enough, as like the Black Cabs a Bus Driver is the first face of Britain that Tourist would meet and that it is extremely important to set the right image for the U.K. and that is why passing the technical test is not enough. My interview started with "tell me about yourself" and transitioned to the foot ball game last night, South Park cartoon, them the most important question was "Can you pass a drug test?" Obviously I said yes and started work a couple of days later.

id also add make sure your maths and highway code is up to scratch or you will fail. also do you have any advice on how to not tense up in interviews and could use shortform notes. i feel like i know how to answer questions etc but i tend to tense up and end up forgetting half the information even though when totally relaxed i can answer as if i was talking to a friend

I just had an interview for bus transit in my city and there was no question about what I would do when I was in an accident the last rapid question they asked me was what I would do if teens got on the bus and refused to pay and told me they were going to punch me in the face.
Tell me how on earth are you supposed to remember all this information. Do you read it over and over again like a school kid. I’m middle aged and I’m wondering if I can remember all this at my interview! Great Tutorial by the way!
Yes, keep practising. Practice by writing them down, then saying the answers in front of a mirror, and then get family or friends to mock interview you :)
