Um. Awesome of course. Yet the better thing is hearing the wee one cry. I understand the concern of showing him or her on camera, just glad to hear it from time to time
The cabinets look great. You will probably want to move the door stops from the bottom of the cabinet carcass to the top. That way your bottom shelf is cleaner looking and more functional.
Well Done Jessie!!! For an old guy like me, I find myself being proud of your efforts. Can it all be done better? Sure it can! None of us started out any better I'll bet. My true hope is that you'll continue for the rest of your life to improve and show your young one(s) what you've learned. Passing along skills like these is what youth needs today. Take to heart the help we may offer in our hope to smooth your path. God Bless and have a Wonderful New Year.
i agree with the uppers first but the sink couldnt really be done like they usually are with the faucet installed first because it is so tight , i think they might have had trouble when they tilted it to get it to fit maybe. The faucet was tightened from the top and behind since the back is open, you can actually see Alyssa reach in through the back of the cabinet and turn the faucet.
great looking job but I have put in a lot of cabinets over the years and have found it was always easier to do the upper first and safer also. no dropping things on the lowers. just saying
Congratulations to the both of you and your sister. The hard work you have put into learning the craft and creating something from scratch has truly paid off. Cant wait to see you use these skills elsewhere in the house.
The amount of criticism is amazing. I've been watching these two for years. It's like "The Truman Show". You watch. No comments are necessary. Definitely no criticism.
This is amazing and something even a professional woodworker would be proud of. I love how you guys go into details of everything you do. That is what will make your home a showcase. Congratulations on a job very well done.
Its been a long time coming but I am so glad you didn't hurry or put cheap cabinets in to just have something in! They are so beautiful! Can you imagine what Alyssa will be able to cook in this kitchen! So happy for you both. Jessie its awesome! Is there anything you can't do! Yippee! Also love listening to your baby in the background! Merry Christmas!
The cabinets look great. Remember the small piece of wood that holds the cabinet doors even in the front, you may want to install then at the top of the cabinet so you don't see them or interfere when you are moving items in and out of the cabinets. Just a thought!
From one designer to another...Amazing job Jesse and Alyssa - we could see the heart you put into every step of the way. Those are way better than anything you could purchase, because they are built with your own hands. Wow, it looks fantastic and you should be very proud! :)
Awesome !!! Especially the night shot. Try revolving the paper towel dispenser 90 degrees, parallel to the sink edge and centered between the switches. The positive of this is less shadow, ease of access to the switches and greater visibility of the sockets. Also it will be closer to the sink with wet hands. Super great work. Peace.
You guys have come a long way having this functional area will make your lives so much easier on many levels. And a special shout out to your sister Jesse for helping you guys.
Looks excellent might I suggest in the open section over the sink fitting an open shelving 2 or 3 shelf unit but with only half depth shelves. You could then store things like soap etc that you would normally store on the counter.
Absolutely wonderful cabinets. The installation is first class+. The extra cost for top of the line hardware was worth it, IMO. Bravo Jesse and Alyssa.
Jesse, you definitely proved that you are capable of doing what you set your mind to accomplish. The cabinets are beautiful. It looks like Alyssa has gotten herself a haircut. It was nice to hear the new family member in the background. I hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas. Keep the videos coming. 👍🌷⚘🌹
Beautiful cabinets. I had a similar kitchen set up. What I did not like is facing the wall while doing anything at the sink. I got a beautiful beveled mirror, put it on the wall and I could see what was going on behind me. The builders thought I was nuts but when it was done they were amazed the amount of additional light it brought in to the space.
Wow, that is sooo awesome! Have always wanted an outdoor kitchen, so that I'm not messing up my indoor kitchen when I come in to husk corn, shell peas, de-string beans, or clean/cut up beets for freezing. Canning can be done there too, instead of heating up the indoor kitchen. I am sooo jealous! er... that's a sin I think... lol!
As a cabinet maker for years, the one piece of advice I would give is this. Next time don’t make separate cabinets for such a short run, make this as a single cabinet. Especially when they are white, as it reduces separation lines between frames and makes install much easier. I never made a single cabinet shorter than 8’ if I could help it
Dunno if you figured it out yet or not, but the extra stops in the cupboards aren't necessary. The shelving is your stop. Excellent job though, looks great!
YEEEE HAAAAA !! Congratulations Congratulations Congratulations Congratulations Debbie and I have been enjoying your blog from the beginning. We don't threw our two cents around much but O.M.G.! Beautiful and tasteful and oh yea the fact that you pulled it off WOW no easy feat. I am sure you are proud and we are very happy for the 2 of you
YESSS! Great job Jesse you rejuvenated hope, I was hesitant how the end result would look but your visions paid off immensely. Since I'm renovating my home I find it's overwhelming and discouraging but little by little goals get met.
Jessie put a light above the sink management will love it. Also you can put some open shelves in the space above the sink for wine glasses or what ever.
Congratulations! I've been watching you guys for a while and am totally amazed at what you're willing to tackle! As the daughter of an artisan cabinet maker from Italy, I command you on the patient attention to detail.....as my dad always said, "Measure, and measure again!"
Be aware that those usb charging outlets still have all the same issues as a block in a standard outlet. The charger is a transformer so it does produce heat and it is using power even if your not plugged into it. A couple other things being that the output may not be sufficient enough for some devices and the longevity is always an unknown. I know ive been through a ton of standard charging blocks.
Just a matter of time before the most beutiful thing You have takes a bath in that sink 🍼🐣🌊 Great job fixing up the garage and making your life a little bit easier... 👍
Considering you made every element of the cupboard face, draws and doors out of what was essentially scrap wood, less for the sink, that has turned out amazing.
Wow! Well done guys... You really should be proud of yourselves.... Also, I'm lovi g hearing the little ones voice! You can build a house but family make a home! Happy holidays guys.
Damn son!!! There's nothing better than a project that comes out nicer than you expected. Especially one that you invested so many hours, days, weeks, money, headaches, frustration, doubt and apprehension. I feel sorry for people who never get to feel that satisfaction of building something incredible with your own two hands. What a beautiful set of cabinets. And that butcher block omggg. I love it! Makes me inspired to try it myself.
Those turned out amazing, I watched and enjoyed the whole series. I bet you felt like walking around the house with your shirt off grunting after completing it, keep up the good work love the videos.
I give you a lot of credit. To build face frame cabinets with inset drawers/doors is quite challenging. And...it’s your first build! You did an excellent job, Jesse (and Anna)
It looks amazing. Just don't forget to put some caulk between the butcher block top and the wall. I would hate to see those lower cabinets and wall getting water damage after all that work.
Another advise if you want it.. I've find easier to install the upper cabinet first before the base cabinets. Reason base cabinet do get in the way with install the uppers! Other then that, good job
I could hear the excitement in your voice Jessie! They turned out beautiful ! Congrats to you both on a job well done. Butcher block top is stellar.
Next time install the upper wall mounted cabinets first before the base, much easier. Blessings from Amazing Grace Farm.
Um. Awesome of course. Yet the better thing is hearing the wee one cry. I understand the concern of showing him or her on camera, just glad to hear it from time to time
Looks GREAT you should try putting the door stops to the top inside of the cabinets will leave flat bottom for cleaning
When I was installing cabinets we always did the uppers 1st made it easier to put in without leaning over to hang them..
It is so much easier to put in the upper cabinet first then the lower so ur not leaning over them
Beat me to this one 👍
Next lifetime
Beautiful job. All three of you should be so proud.
Looks great. I always put little stools on the counter, put the upper cabinets on them and then mounted those. Perfect height.
Its easier to hang the upper cabinets first
The cabinets look great. You will probably want to move the door stops from the bottom of the cabinet carcass to the top. That way your bottom shelf is cleaner looking and more functional.

Your right on the money Jesse! Nice work!
install uppers first, prep sink before installing into the top (install fawcett and drain) then install lower cabinets
i agree with the uppers first but the sink couldnt really be done like they usually are with the faucet installed first because it is so tight , i think they might have had trouble when they tilted it to get it to fit maybe. The faucet was tightened from the top and behind since the back is open, you can actually see Alyssa reach in through the back of the cabinet and turn the faucet.
great looking job but I have put in a lot of cabinets over the years and have found it was always easier to do the upper first and safer also. no dropping things on the lowers. just saying
Kitchen looks wonderful. Alissa I LOVE your new hair cut.
They turned out beautifully and will be a joy to use for decades. Well Done!
Congratulations to the both of you and your sister. The hard work you have put into learning the craft and creating something from scratch has truly paid off. Cant wait to see you use these skills elsewhere in the house.
Umm... There married, not siblings
The amount of criticism is amazing. I've been watching these two for years. It's like "The Truman Show". You watch. No comments are necessary. Definitely no criticism.

Great job, Jesse. You and Alyssa really did a nice job.
You did a spectacular job on those cabinets as well as the vlog on the whole project. You deserve to be proud.
From one designer to another...Amazing job Jesse and Alyssa - we could see the heart you put into every step of the way. Those are way better than anything you could purchase, because they are built with your own hands. Wow, it looks fantastic and you should be very proud! :)
I GOT IT! Above the sink a simple window frame, and in the window an outdoor scene (of your choice).
Peace.
I love hearing the little person in background, wanting to be heard also. lol looking great.
You guys have come a long way having this functional area will make your lives so much easier on many levels. And a special shout out to your sister Jesse for helping you guys.
Very nice work on the cabinets Jesse! You did an excellent job with a very complicated design, especially when you're a newby at cabinetry. VWD!
The usb outlets are pretty nice. We have one in our kitchen and we love it.
Also great job!! The cabinets look amazing!!
Happiness is . . . a gorgeous kitchen! It is lovely!
Those cabinets look fabulous. Be proud of what you did Jesse that's a nice job. Now stand back and enjoy it.
Always install the the upper cabinets before the base!!!🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Rookie mistake I see all the time....
ABSOLUTLEY....waiting to see look on his face when he realizes. Ok, they edited it out.
Yes, uppers first.
Good job, Jesse. You have ample reason to be proud of that.
Anna gets recognition too. Good job Anna!!😀
Looks amazing you guys did a wonderful job keep it up love seeing these videos 🙂
Looks fabulous! You two should be very proud!

Great job you guys, Jesse and Alyssa with the assist! Well done!
I have been watching you both for so long and love your videos Merry Christmas to your little family ♥️

2 thumbs up, enjoy you sharing your life with us.
Well done. The time you spent planning and care taken during construction shows up in the end product. Thanks for sharing!!
Absolutely beautiful work on the cabinets!
Looks amazing, great job, I love it when you can see someone so please and proud of something they built, respect from the United Kingdom.

nice tip reduces the material a little and the waste as well nice tip

The look on Alyssas face 15:19 she is soo happy great work Jesse/ sister & Alyssa
That is one gorgeous set of cabinets and love that butcher block top. You did a very professional job.
Paper towel - yes- form, fit and function. Great effort and planning!
It's clean, it's simple, it's kind of timeless... yes, that's what we call Scandinavian or Danish Design. Love from Denmark.
Nice job on those cabinets.
Dunno if you figured it out yet or not, but the extra stops in the cupboards aren't necessary. The shelving is your stop.
Excellent job though, looks great!
Silicone buttons can be stuck on the leading edge of shelves for noise and flushing up.
he put the temporary stops in as he was putting the doors on to see how they fit and looked before he had shelves, he already talked about this.
Had a tearing up moment there. Thank you for sharing. Lookes gorgeous.
Jesse and Alyssa cabinets and sink look great awesome job
YEEEE HAAAAA !!
Congratulations Congratulations Congratulations Congratulations

Looks awesome, Jesse 😊. Great job, guys
Fantastic work! Excited to see it come together.
I would install the uppers first.
YESSS! Great job Jesse you rejuvenated hope, I was hesitant how the end result would look but your visions paid off immensely.
Since I'm renovating my home I find it's overwhelming and discouraging but little by little goals get met.
Beautiful job, be proud you deserve it
Best thing is that every time you go to the units you can say I made those, and feel proud.
Actual work starts at 8:05
Don't lose sight guys! You are in the home stretch! Keep that fire burning. 👍👊
You should always install the upper cabinets first
Be aware that those usb charging outlets still have all the same issues as a block in a standard outlet. Woot Woot, look at those easy close drawers ... 🥳. Look at that “fricken kitchen”, nice work people .... 🥳
Soft lose doors/drawers are awesome guys
Well done. DIY encouragement
Just a matter of time before the most beutiful thing You have takes a bath in that sink 🍼🐣🌊
Great job fixing up the garage and making your life a little bit easier... 👍
Amazingly beautiful guys! I love watching your videos!! Please never stop!
You should install your upper cabs first, much easier!
Truely beautiful pieces of bespoke furniture you have created there - very inspiring to watch!!
Looks great! I suggest open shelving in the middle of the cabinets.
Considering you made every element of the cupboard face, draws and doors out of what was essentially scrap wood, less for the sink, that has turned out amazing.
Very nice job, now pick up some iron-on edge banding to cover the plywood end-grain on the shelves.
Wow!
Well done guys...
You really should be proud of yourselves....
Also, I'm lovi g hearing the little ones voice!
You can build a house but family make a home!
Happy holidays guys.
They turned out fantastic! You exceeded my expectations on this job with some truly professional work.
white shaker design...beautiful work!!
Solid, Fantastic looking and built bottom cabinet install.
jesse you did awesome very beautiful cabinets
Damn son!!! There's nothing better than a project that comes out nicer than you expected. been with you from day one with your videos with the cabinets, turned out beautiful,an amazing job.
Those turned out amazing, I watched and enjoyed the whole series. I bet you felt like walking around the house with your shirt off grunting after completing it, keep up the good work love the videos.
Back saver if you install the uppers first your not leaning across the lower which are wider. Overall the cabinet look amazing . Well done
Beautiful job kids. Love how it turned out.
Jesse and Alyssa those cabinets look awesome😁👍
Another advise if you want it.. I've find easier to install the upper cabinet first before the base cabinets. Reason base cabinet do get in the way with install the uppers! Other then that, good job
I think you did an awesome job!! I would put the block on the one set of doors at the top so it doesn’t block your shelf for plates though 😃
