Great video again lads. Would like to see more 350z's on the channel 😂 👍
Adam Mc Yeah man, the 350zs are very nice sports cars 😉
Thanks for the quick reply
I decided to buy the Stoptech BBK
What was the reason to Trim the Guard?
Caliper too Big?
No worries :) yeah the calliper would have caught the guard if not trimmed down.
Do you still have the original front silver painted calipers?
Did the spacers upset handling? Also how much difference have the brembos made over stock
bruce L The brake performance is about 100% better haha, can now modulate the braking. And the spacers in terms of handling the turn in was made much more sharper and responsive :)
SpareTime Network thanks! I was worried it might upset handling. Think i will be buying this conversion next month.
bruce L Go for it! You won't regret it 😁
How about the result after a while? Do the rings generate vibrations?
@@EnduranceRCGNTN BBK has been fitted since 2017 and I still own the car. Brakes have performed with out fault.
I have an FN too, can I ask how much the kit was and from were you bought it...
The kit was just over £800, and was from k-system.pro - but I'm sure a site called "Freakyparts" also do their own kit.
No I don’t, I’m actually thinking of buying the kit, I have a silver 2008 FN2 for the the last 6 years and it’s time to put a little money into it, I’ve just bought drilled and grooved disc and pads and braided hoses plus I purchased 4 Michelin super sport tyres and just had the wheels powder coated black, as before I had them painted antrsite,, but when I seen those brakes I said shit I need them
How much space is between the rim and the calipes? i would like to put these brakes on the aftermarket wheels size 18x8 +45 and i dont know if the wheels cover this big brakes...
Oh I forgot to ask
What your Rear Setup
Thinking of Stoptech Rotor with PBS OR FERODO.
ANY SUGGESTIONS
THANKS
I've just got stock set up for the rear.
so including the added spacers for the calipers 2 clear the wheels, what is the total weight + or - over stock?
with the spacers fitted, weight is around 300 grams lighter, per wheel.
Hi
Thinking of buying the Kit.
So Std honda wheel required 15mm spacer?
Is it INCLUDED in the Kits?
Thanks
No the kit only includes the disks, callipers, and pads. The spacers need to be bought separate.
how many millimeters of spacer did you use ?
15mm all round, they're needed for the kit to fit.
@@SpareTimeNetworkSTN do you have to change pins?
Would this be same for ep3 are these of a mk9 civic
Do you know if they clear with 17"?
forryk Yeah they do clear 17 inch wheels :) but you'll need a minimal of a 10mm spacer if you're using standard honda alloys.
Nice, thanks! Might not need spacers if you're running a lower ET then.
I have the kit the next week and garage to pose the kit the next month with more 20 horse power. I languish !!!! Sorry for my english
Initially I thought the reason to Trim or REMOVED Splash Guard was the Disk rotor was too big n would Rub Against the Guard.
I thought I HAD TO totally removed the Guard. But saw ur video..A little trim was fine
Cheer
Yeah just how much is removed in the video is all you need :) glad I could help
How do you find these pads soo far ?
Pads are fine when cold and bit well when warmed up.
