I still find it hilariously pathetic to this day that all the drama between KSI and Deji all practically started from a simple joke. ☠️

To be fair the ksi and deji beef really started when deji had his mum access KSI's bank accounts to share screenshots online, which is in my opinion a lot more reasonable, but that did start from the joke so I guess youre not wrong.

Around this time there was also "beef" between Deji's cameraman (Jallow) and JJ/Sidemen's cameraman (Kon) where they both released diss tracks to each other, neither song is good but Kon's music video naturally slapped

To be fair to deji there really was the sentiment that he was ksi's annoying little brother, it even seems that ksi's freinds probably saw him that way so i can see where he felt the hostility. Plus people make it seem like he forced his way into youtube piggybacking off his brother, and whist there is some truth to it, deji was also frequently part of his brothers early content, is it really that unreasonable for him to start making his own?
I think Deji does get too much hate, and it was definitely worse during the whole "beef." I think I understood has reasons for being upset. The problem is that he and JJ turned it into drama and then diss tracks. And unfortunately, Deji wasn't as well liked as JJ. So he's the bad guy.
At the end of the day, both of them are dumb. Lol.

"Freestyle" has two meanings in rap: there is a freestyle that is off the top of the head, and there is also a freestyle which is meant to be a flex of your skills as a rapper in general.
i usually see the other meaning as more of a “this is written but i didn’t put too much work into it” sorta thing, or at least it’s a third meaning

I know im 6 months late but one of the reasons dejis channel was losing subs in 2019/2020 is because he was making the exact same content he was maling in 2013/14 his channel didnt evolve at all and that lead to losing views and subs

Back in the day I was a deji fan because he was the lil bro and I was also a lil bro but when this beef hit I realised he was just objectively the worse youtuber compared to ksi. Less funny, less motivated and consequently less successful. He's still rich and more famous than I'll ever be, but he was kinda cringe. Now though he does seem way more put together. Hes self aware, maybe he's still not as made for camera as ksi but he's had his moments.

I think you guys have missed some important stuff to this beef. Deji was completely in the wrong in this situation while at the same time jj was somewhat. He tried to stay neutral to his best mate and his brother. Deji also completely turned his parents against jj all while doing all of this publicly when jj wanted to resolve this privately when deji ignored him. And at a certain point he's stopped caring enough to be bother by the situation at all bc his family was completely against him. So he said some questionable things on Twitter and yt. that he probably shouldn't have said. Jj said and his friends said that was the hardest time he has ever went thru
