Jillie Mac!!!!! I love seeing you eat dessert for brecky. When did Max grow up so big? 😭
Oooh Jill I got an idea
… when you pulse the oats and walnuts throw a few dates in there to make it combine… press it onto the bottom of your dish then reduce the cherries on the stove and do your fancy cornstarch bit. Then bake it 😮
Great idea! I love it. Thank you 😊
Happy to see you back in action! 😀

Dessert. That said, cherries, oats, and walnuts are good for you.
Using date sugar might make it slightly healthier.
Now that you have said this, I'm totally doing it! Thank you!!!
Hi fam I haven’t seen your children in a long time 🙏🏼
I enjoyed that so much. The video, I mean. I haven't made the dessert yet but I will. Thanks, Jill! And when did Max grow up? Like, overnight?! He was on to you about hoarding the dessert, wasn't he? Hilarious! 😋
He knows me all too well. 😁 Let me know when you get the chance to make this dish.
JILL! You're back! Yea!!!!! My hubby and I used to watch you all the time but I haven't checked your channel for quite some time. Don't know when you got back but YEA!!!!! Love ya! Jackie

Thank you, Margaret! Let me know when you get around to making this dish. Would love to know what you think of it. 😃
Hey, cute girl! Thanks for a fun vid and dessert possibility.
That looked so good Jill!!!!
It's gone now. I killed it off after dinner tonight. 😂
@@JillMcKeever 😂🤣
Looks amazing! I love anything cherry 🍒!
Thank you, Chris! Let me know when you make it.
I love cherry oatmeal with little cinnamon
I have one can of tart cherries I didn't know what I was going to use them in. I think I will add a little more sugar and make a smaller amount since I don't have the extra can.
So yummy. You are great!
Yum 😋
Glad to see your videos your great fun!
I love me some sweet/tart jilliciousness 😋 When I make cranberries, I add the zest and innards of an orange/clementine/mandarin (you get the idea), some cinnamon, vanilla extract and for the sweet, if I have dates on hand, I soak and blend that add, otherwise, I add sugar. The amount depends on how much I'm cooking. But I'm aiming for a sweet light kiss with a tart chaser LOL. This is something I'll be making for sure 🤤
Hello Annette! Have you made the cherry oats dish, yet?
@@JillMcKeever Not yet. Dealing with January weather here 🤮🙄🤷♀️ We've had a whack ton of snow and bone chilling temps. Aren't we lucky 🤣 Next trip to the store will be when I make this. Just waiting for a clear day. Hopefully within the next couple days. I'll Instagram a pic of it 😉 My tummy is excited 😋🤤🤗 Snuggles to Sweetie Pie Poncho 💋🐾💋
Yummmm!🍒🍒
I really enjoyed this.-I used Frozen dark sweet cherries.. it’s like cherry pie only better for you.. only thing is it’s hard to stop eating-and just 1 piece/portion…. Thanks
Yes, I practically ate the whole dish myself. Next time, I'll throw in an apple for more bulk.
Gonna try this.i love your giant refrigerator. Wow. Betty from Nova Scotia Canada
This looks amazeballs! I'm going to make this tomorrow! But I have a big honking bag of frozen cherries. What should I change??
Hi M! I would recommend heat those cherries in a saucepan first; see if you can draw any juice from them, like you would if you were making a fruit jelly. Try medium heat, with a half cup of water to start the juices flowing. Simmer the fruit for 8 to 10 minutes; remove from heat. Measure out the juice to guestimate how much cornstarch you'll need.
The oats absorbed most of the juice, yet the cornstarch added a nice mouthfeel to the cherry filling. You may need as much a 2 tablespoons; I used that much because I was afraid I get a cherry soup instead of dessert. 😆
That is so wierd, I can't see Jill's reply!!!
Hi Jill :) you probably dont remember me. But its me! Mika! I would come to your live streams every day :) I was the girl that tried to send you one of my pictures, you always used to say my name wrong! It was so funny though! I remember your rainbow skates! And your art live streams :)
