I’m a 53 year old carpenter and eat plant based this has become my favorite cooking show it reminds me of cooking with my grandma , if you don’t have anything nice to say go away and find something else to watch
Made these for the first time, they turned out moist, decadently rich & so delicious! Used pecans as I was out of walnuts which worked well. But next time will make with walnuts. Thank you for creating a plant based perfect brownie! ❤😊
Put your food processor back on the motor when your bowl is empty. Run for a couple of seconds, this cleans the blade and you can get all the extra batter out of the bowl! Try it!
I’m amazed at the critical and rude comments. Why are some so judgemental. You ladies do a great job. Keep up the good work. I appreciate your efforts. ❤
@@1lipseyOh yes there were. Perhaps they've been taken down. One said something along the likes of 'I wish you were doing more heart-healthy foods.' I commented that they are all heart-healthy, all plant-based. She must've been from Mars.
I love how real you are! Thank you for your not perfect kitchen and "opps" moments. And, of course, your "sacrifice" to find the perfect brownie recipe!
Thank you for mentioning this! I have used Raspberry extract instead of Vanilla but I am definitely going to try orange the next time I make this recipe :)
In order that your brownies don't come out too thin because you're using an 8 and 1/2 by 11 baking dish, you could take a piece of aluminum foil, fold it to make a sturdy dam in the end of your rectangular baking sheet so that the area you pour the batter into becomes a square baking dish
Oh my goodness, the brownie on the tooth! Jane, I needed that today! 😂Thank you for all the hard work & love you put into these recipes and videos. Blessings!
You can make your own oat flour. Just put some rolled oats in a food processor and whirl away! I use an electric coffee bean grinder. Last week I made sunflower seed butter using roasted sunflowers and maple syrup.
Yes Fair trade chocolate! Saw docu on chocolate too! Love my copy of your book, BE A PLANT-BASED WOMAN WARRIOR. Good job !!! Yum ! Luv brownies!!! I love MINT !!!
This recipe is very delish as is. I’ve used a 9x9 pan and brownie bites muffin pans. I suggest using less maple syrup if you’re using sweetened dark baking chips. Thank you Jane and Ann. More cooking demo please. Enjoy!
Thank you so much for sharing this recipe and for being so down to earth during your cooking sessions. As others have said it’s so refreshing to see an unscripted demo, your kitchen is a fantastic working kitchen and watching you two ladies is just lovely and entertaining, I feel as though I could step in and join you, such a normal relaxed style. I’ll be making these very soon and in spite of telling myself that I don’t need more recipe books I will check out your book. 🙏💚
Hi Ladies, I use to do a lot of baking and also made wedding cakes. The question you asked about why do the brownies have that nice crackle layer on top? It's because of the large amount of fat from the walnuts and bakers chocolate. (You will also get that kind of crackle layer when using butter).
I have a serious problem with chocolate lol! Chocoholic here. I have to limit myself to the kind made with cocoa powder and beans, sweet potatoes and oats. I would eat that whole pan, they look soooo good!
These are ABSOLUTELY delicious!!! I've been vegan for almost 12 years, and these taste as good, no, BETTER than the brownies I grew up with as a kid. So fluffy, rich and mouthwatering, with just the right amount of sweetness. Great job Jane on coming up with this recipe!
That looks delicious! Love it ladies! I may make that for my birthday in May. I love cutting dried fruit with scissors, it is so much easier than using a knife. I actually hold the fruit with a mini tong as well beacuse the fruit can get so sticky.
It is a joy to watch you and your Mom in the kitchen. I’ve ordered your cook book and look forward to trying the recipes . Thank you for sharing these wonderful plant based, healthy recipes.
Love watching the banter between you two! Definitely going to try making these. Will have to estimate how much Baker's chocolate and cocoa until I can buy this book. Thanks for another great video! 👏🏻💖
I love watching the two of you work together! It brings a tear to my eye as I miss my mother so very much. Thanks for the fantastic recipes and sharing the love!
I made your other brownie recipe that calls for 1.5 cups of maple syrup (with sweet potatoe recipe) and I find that it works brilliantly with just 3/4 cup maple syrup.......
This recipe looks delicious. I'm still wishing you would list the recipes. I would do so many more of your recipes if you did. Please think about doing that with your videos. I enjoy you two and your fun natures. Thanks for sharing so many great recipes.

A new mature employee at Natural Grocers just told me about you two. You are funny and the cutest with a great brownie recipe I can actually eat. Mine are in the oven right now!! Have y’all tried substituting the maple syrup with maybe dates and water to make the 1 1/4 cup? I love maple syrup but I’m gonna go broke with the maple syrup amount 😂😂😂😂 The smell is amazing right now OMG this is a guaranteed burnt mouth in about 20 min! 😂😂😂
Can you use EnerG egg replacer instead of flax egg? If so, are you just replacing 1 egg? How much melted chocolate and cocoa powder do you use? Thanks!

Studies show aluminum including aluminum foil are linked to alzehimers, that is why they use parishment paper.
