My 85 Z51 that I bought almost new had the bronze tint top that was gorgeous. Until it was stolen. Replacement was pricey even in 87! I miss that in my later life crisis 84. It has the standard roof. Maybe someday.
Ya, depending on what color car you have some look better with the Bronze and some look better with the Blue tint and of course I think they all look good with the color match fiberglass top. That sucks having it stolen! Thanks for watching!
Melrose T Tops is located in Illinois I'm located in NC. My son drove the car this summer to work while waiting on his next car to arrive and I guess the top could'nt take the 100 degree heat while sitting in a parking lot all day. He did tell me on a couple occasions that he could bearly get in the car at the end of the day the inside was so hot.
I got my new fiberglass top from them! I also have an 84 vette. Chris Wiehle is who I talked to there and he was great. I gotta adjust my top I’m not sure if I have to readjust the back or the front but I get leaks when I pressure wash it. I went from clear top to painted and love it. It’s even better when I take it off on beautiful warm days here in Raleigh
They really do a great job don't they. As a former GM tech. never pressure wash a T Top, Targa Top or Convertible depending on the angle of the wand they would be impossible to seal that pressure. I would suggest hand washing with a hose if it still leaks then yes a adjustment would be necessary. I'm in Lake Norman/Charlotte and yes beautiful weather,Thanks for watching!
