The Hungarian Folk Tales stem from original folktale collections, every episode has its special authentic ornamentation. The makers used the decorative art of a certain countryside region at each episode. The trio of folk art, folk music and folk tales are masterfully combined in the episodes, which have unique imagery, sometimes spicy folk humor in the dialogues. Thanks to the natural presentation of the storytellers, and the music of the Kaláka band, the viewer can experience something unique and special.

5:13 no one thinks to go replant the hedge? Or to go punish the rooster? No they just hear the story and think “well then I should do something foolish and sacrifice something important to me like everyone else is doing “

It makes me think of families or work environments where, if something goes wrong, nobody goes to fixing problems but instead makes more of them!

I think they only call it _common_ sense out of wishful thinking, but mostly, this is a lesson in story form to children, to try and act sensible and not make a problem worse.

The moral is if bad things are happening, one doesn't need to make them worse and go to the deep end.

Seems foolish to hear of a bunch of bad things and then do your own foolish thing sacrificing something important to you.
