So glad for this video as didn't really learn this if I'm honest and will be the first on MOD 2 test along with hill start but both was easy tbh and passed first time 👍 Not sure how'd of got on without watching this type of videos lmao
Hi, Thank you for your video! Do we need to wait if there is a car coming from the front? if i cant see ahead really well can i paddle forward a bit to get a better view?
If you think you might affect oncoming traffic by pulling out, or it would put you in danger - such as if the oncoming car is overtaking a parked car on their side of the road, then wait until it has passed. On the second question, it's unlikely the examiner will get you to pull up behind a vehicle giving you a restricted view, such as behind a lorry, but yes, paddling - or emerging - is acceptable here. Safety is the priority so if you can't see then move to a point where you can. 👍
Thanks Richard - very useful as ever, and I love the "ooooo" at the beginning - a good reminder to stay excited about angled starts😂. Seriously, short & sweet, but super helpful.
Apologies, I appear to be speaking at a thousand miles per hour in this video! I'll do a better version soon. 👍
I'm watching at 2x speed and could understand you fine.
@@mjr2567 Phew! Thanks. 👍

When pulling over , do we keep our left indicator on whilst pulled in, or cancel it as soon as we have pulled in ?
Either is fine. Switching it off after you've pulled in lessens the chance of having the wrong indicator on when pulling away though!
@@Lets-rideUk ok great 👍 thanks. Also, am I ok to put my foot onto the curb when pulling over ?
Yes. 👍
I was shown to crawl forward with feet on floor and creep and peep.
Certainly if the view is more obstructed (like a panel van etc) we would do that, but with good visibility it's not really required. 👍
