You better watch rubbing that cotton ball near that parent leather like that bro. I did the same thing. The patent leather has a little tear around the outline of the toe cap. The acetone reacted and a little piece of the PL torn off. Tape first. I learned the hard way

They're fine! Real patent leather can take in a lot of acetone. I'm still very cautious as to how much acetone touches the leather still.
