Hey, Hazard-ish! Your videos are still being recommended as #1 on the KSP-genre, even a year later. I'm always amazed at the detail you put into your work. If you don't mind me being nosey - are you an engineer? Also - what's the last year held for you outside of UA-cam? Maybe your day-job is your focus, or maybe you're starting a Hazard-ish family? =]
Hi! I know, it's really surprising to me to me that people still watch my content, and I read nearly all of my comments even if I hardly reply. I'm not an engineer - I'm currently still at university! I have been off the UA-cam scene for so long because of both university (studying physics) and mental health challenges. Fairings for the body is a good idea because they are light and look really good
How do you get the plane to go that fast without burning up in the atmosphere?
I can't go past 500m/s without overheating....
You must’ve been flying quite low. If you fly above at least 15,000 metres, then you overheat less.
I fly at over 2 km/s at 30000 m with OPT mod.
Actually, I don't know what's the deal here, because you can fly at sea level at over 1 km/s without overheating.
i havent played ksp in a long time but he did use a lot of radiators.. maybe that helped a bit with heat dispersion?
Jangaal15 he only used radiators in cockpit, they disperse heat only from the closest area, so wings and tail aren't cooled by them.
