Love the design! So serene, calm and very functional. I also love the fact that you always let the architects speak themselves and don't use voiceovers! Every video feels so personal because of that...
One of the best designs I've seen, for such a small space, at just 33sqm!.. I loved the use of wood, which gave it a cosy, homely feel, rather than just painting eveything white... The coffee/dining table and TV/framed picture were lovely touches, along with the sliding doors and row of plants, for privacy... I'd love to live there... Mae is a great designer! 🦋
I love this so much. It's incredibly peaceful and minimalistic but not sterile. Also, the closed-off kitchen makes so much sense in a tiny space, you'd want to keep the food aromas from getting into the rest of the apartment. It feels absolutely flooded with light and air. I love how you can hear her smile when she talks about her brother's board games.
@@user-oi8ph6qx1l well if you take the context of Bangkok, very vibrant, sunny, warm, crowded, and loud city, personally it would feel like a nice comfy cocoon for me. If this place was somewhere with harsh winters for example, I’d probably find it depressing. But having personally been to BKK, it makes sense to want a space that dissociates from the outside.
I love that they have a large enough sofa for two people to lounge on, rather than some nonsense like stapling a lawn chair cushion to a plywood bench. This is a great use of space for *real* furniture!
I can’t BELIEVE this is only 355 square feet. Tons of amazing designs on this channel but this one’s my favorite!! It’s beautiful and cozy and just unbelievable how livable it is!!
Finally saw a Thai designer on this channel.
This place is amazing! When you consider the size it becomes mind-blowing! Mae is my favourite 🙂. I'm zulu and we also don't have the letter "R" in our language, I enjoyed hearing how similarly our cultures get around this inconvenience imposed on us by the English language lol.
I did pick up two r's, in 'natural light' and 'ceramic', but not at the beginning of the word ('room' is 'loom'). Never liked them myself, awesome accent 😊
I love this concept very much. My son is about to buy his space soon and I will suggest this video. A warm handshake from my humble country the Philippines 🇵🇭 Thank you for sharing this video.
It's a very serene space, and I love how even the sliding doors are versatile. The plants create a living balcony screen, and the bathroom is so lovely and peaceful. It's hard to believe that a busy city lies beyond those walls!
Clever designer! The fact that her brother is the client is actually emotional, they seem to have a cool bond! When he moved the sliding door to enclose the sleeping area and that 3rd seat of the sofa remained with the bedroom it was illusive in a good way, a detail that grabbed my attention!
So there's a lot of elements in this design that I've independently thought of for my own apartment (shoji-inspired doors, textured walls, raised multi-purpose platform, natural materials). I was therefore very excited to see how beautifully it works in an apartment (i.e. not just in a ryokan) and am feeling a little more confident in my style preferences. Thank you for sharing this design!
Changing sleeping area to the tatami tea zone and sleeping area that's very genius!! First thing that people are gonna see is tea zone with a plant on background and TV with natural picture. It's so cool!!
I love this home. I can really feel the sanctuary from the city. I love the sliding panel and the tatami mats, the mulit-use space. And the change of height for that space is awesome! It designates space difference while making it cozier while making a place to store the bed. Wonderful design! Thank you! ❤
This is one of the best Studio/1 Bedroom that I really like! I love the calm cozy color throughout the apartment. The hidden closet with the sliding doors is very cleverly designed. Also, the 3 piece couch is able to divide it out when the owner needs to have only 1 in his bedroom. I just love this wonderful setup. I can see myself living in this beautiful, simple apartment. It feels so spacious for just a 355 sqf space. i absolutely love it!!!😍🥰😘
I LOVED THE DESIGNER OF THIS HOUSE, IT'S SMALL BUT IT LOOKS LIKE IT, SPACES WELL USED, MULTIFUNCTIONAL AND SUPER SIMPLE WITH VERY COMFORTABLE, IT'S ADORABLE AND SUPER FUNCTIONAL, FOR THOSE WHO STARTED LIFE AS A 2, AND THERE DON'T HAVE MANY POSSIBILITIES FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T AFFORD ONE BIGGER HOUSE.
First Thailand-related content I've ever watched on this channel! (Yes, it's my country) The design is nice. I can feel Japanese vibe like tatami and futon. Hope NTS will cover more condominium of size 23-35 sq.m. without duplex mezzanine floor, because it is more practical here in Thailand especially Bangkok.
That is such a beautiful, luxurious and calming small home I have ever seen. Just a fantastic design and all in 355 sq ft . That would be a wonderful place to call home . ❤
Hope to see more small space around Asia, especially Hong Kong. Love this unit on how they use the sliding panels and raised platform to separate the space yet. Transforming space is very important for a small unit.
This is really nice and it's so true that when you have a restricted amount of space, you think twice about bringing crap ahem, stuff into your life lol
That's probably the most spacious-feeling
but who is responsible for removing a futon mattress every single morning?
@@valeriegalchenko2360 Chances are, they will just leave it as it is unless they have guests over.
Wrong. And was made even smaller by not being fully open.
@@costafilh0 I'm sure you can do so much better than the architects and designers of this episode. 😂
@@rosiekapun207 Was it ROOM or LOOM ?
Love the design! So serene, calm and very functional. I also love the fact that you always let the architects speak themselves and don't use voiceovers! Every video feels so personal because of that...
What exactly is functional, dragging futon mattress twice a day to storage because otherwise it blocks a window and everything one sees is a messy bed
@@valeriegalchenko2360 an alternative would be to have a bed that is raised via a wall-mounted hoist, up out of the way during the day.
In principle it’s nice that the architects speak for themselves; in practice I can’t understand what she’s saying and wordovers would be better.

Too often "Japanese" styled rooms rarely look Japanese but this apartment renovation is spot on! 素晴らしい!
The video came out so well! So glad to be a part of this video featuring the unique apartment in the first ever NTS Thailand project 🥳
I saw this as the 1st Bangkok NTS vdo.
I really love how that one part of the sofa stays in the convertible room. Very comfortable and functional!
I love the simple, functional design of this apartment. It’s minimalist and a very calm space. Well thought out and beautiful. Well done Mae!

I just feel at peace watching this. It so quietly beautiful and soft in every way possible.
The space is so good! Love the colors and how different rooms are multipurpose 👏👏
No clutter at all, wow, this made all so spacious. I love the tranquility of the space. My compliments.
I love how a little space opens up so much and is so bright and clean, good job !
Love it!!! I’m so surprise NTS just landed to Thailand. Looking forward to seeing more.

Good one! Love how light it feels with only one window, great job!
Not only does it look simple and cozy, but the house design is also practical. The designer is very talented.
I'm SO in love with the serenity this place has, such a warm but tidy space. GOALS!
Wow, such an elegant and soothing design that packs a truly astonishing amount of functions into such a tiny space! Well done 👏👏👏

Haibo? Aiko r in Zulu? Andiyaaz.
Actually, Thai language has an R. But some of us find it is difficult and/or prefer pronounce it as L.

I'm impressed with this one, until now the best renovation I've seen on this channel
The design is so beautiful..it looks simple but it is not that simple..Hats off the the designer..I love the sleeping area the most
I love the overall look, especially the "sleeping" area. The sliding door is a brilliant implementation, good job!

I already like the bangkok condos designs in general, but this tops them. The possibility to disassemble the bed and use the freed space is genius 👍

Amazing how every inch of space is cleverly utilized
Easily one of my favourite places. We'll designed without sacrificing comfort. And it gives a relaxing vibe yet not too minimal.
