TG has the most pure talent. Swift had some of the best jukes. Zeus has more lower body strength than any person I've ever seen lol. Chubb is just the best overall RB IMO.
That KO return at 6:49 by Todd will always be one of my favorite plays as a Georgia fan. Superstar player who made a big time play when we needed it most. Completely changed the momentum of that game. On the Sky Cam too 🔥🔥
Yea that play, at that time in the game and all the things leading up to that point, was truly phenomenal. I also have always had respect for that Clemson player for not dragging Gurley down in the end zone on that play.
I enjoyed the video. So many good running backs have played for Georgia since 2010. The top four on this list were absolute freaks. Speed, power, balance, vision, etc. were excellent. Loved watching all of them play. Swift had really good numbers in 2019 but imagine the yardage he would have put up if our offense wasn't such a mess with Coley and the struggling passing game. Teams were able to focus on stopping the run a bit more than we'd like sometimes during that season, though ultimately, we still found a way to win a lot of games. It made me so happy to see Chubb have such a great senior season, along with Sony in 2017. I was worried that he'd never be elite again after the injury in 2015. But he had a great 2017 and has obviously been a stud in the NFL as well.
Man Keith Marshall's freshman year he was a blazer and a future superstar. The injury vs Tennessee was a tragedy and he never looked the same after that. That turf in Knoxville was an almost criminal disgrace. Chubb, Justin Scott Wesley, Marshall....
100% accurate! I definitely think Douglas and Herrien were underestimated! Those guys could've started at any other D1 school, but UGA and the entire SEC is just to loaded at running back.
You should've went back like 2-3 years and throw Knowshon in there man I love my Dawgs favorite sport team from Georgia always have and will be. Let's go repeat this year..GO DAWGS WOOF WOOF
Thanks for posting!!! I absolutely love my DAWGS!!! Wear a bulldog charm solid 14k with a diamond in the eye. Watkinsville born and raised! GEORGIA NATION RISE UP!! 2022...
Think the names are all accurate, id put White ahead of Marshall and Cook, and Cook ahead of Marshall. Hard to have anyone over Gurley talent wise, but Chubb was a DGD. Thanks for making to get us through the off-season!
Another great video! I was hoping to see the Zamir TD against Arkansas…where he was almost parallel to the ground from the 10 in, but still kept hid balance. After 2 major knee surgeries, one on each leg, that was an amazing feat. Still a great production JT!
Solid list. I would flip Zeus and Cook and put both ahead of Marshall. Also, based on body of work, you can't argue against Chubb being number 1, but best RB in his prime was Gurley IMO. Injuries and BS NCAA suspension held him back. Before his suspension his junior year, he may have been the most electric player I've ever seen. A threat to take it to the house every time he touched it.
I gotta go with Gurley as the best easily. Chubb played a 4th year & 17 more games than Gurley, so the numbers are skewed there. When watching them, Gurley was in a different class.
Chubb only played 3 years at georgia are we forgetting he was out a whole season his sophomore year chubb has better numbers that Gurley chubb is without a doubt the best running back georgia has had since 34
@@truthhurts95 he was not out the whole year. He played half the year. Again, still 17 more games than Gurley, who missed time in two different seasons. Per game rushing, average yards a carry, receiving, etc all go to Gurley.
Keith Marshall, when healthy, was a different breed, but I don't think he was available often enough to put him ahead of James Cook. Cook was a star for us with his receiving skills
Douglas was ok, he was a good blocking back. They tried hard to get him some carries. He primary was on special teams. He was a fan favorite, so I understand how he's on this list
I love all these Dawgs but it HAS to be Gurley at 1. I watched the man single-handedly carry us back to win games. Ex: Georgia Tech when we were down 21 at halftime.
My dude. What a list. My dude Douglas was a beast I’m glad he made the list same with herrien. We have been blessed at this position for sure. My guy Daijun Edwards did Brendan Douglass type things this past season. Can’t wait to see that dude get his turn. Go Dawgs!
@@dsgballday1 yeah i agree 100 percent but it was the injury that set him back but he will forever be a top 5 dawg in my book of previous RB's at UGA forever a DGD
Marshall had the fastest 40 time out of all the backs on this video, but he also went down easily on first contact because of the front leaning balance he had. Similar to James Cook, but Cook was able to fix that in his last year.
How is Chubb greater than Gurley guys????? he played more games but Chubb 103 yards a game .95 TDs a game. Gurley 109 yards a game 1.2 TDS a game rushing only. Gurleys sophomore receiving season (37 ctch 440 yards 6 TDs) greater than Chubbs entire career (31 ctch 360 yards 4 TD) Thats not even considering Gurley took 2 kicks back to the house as well. He did more and effect more aspects of the gam
If y’all don’t get Brandon Douglas tf out of my face. He was a garbage back that had one shining moment jumping in the end zone. Outside of that, he was awful.
@@ayarzeev8237 that’s fine and I get that. But what frustrated me is that he wasn’t good and some people thought he was Gods gift because he was a white RB. I was screaming for Quayvon Hicks to be running the ball the whole time that they were handing it off to Douglas. I’m a white dude btw. Quayvon was a wasted talent at UGA.
Herrien was underappreciated by our fans imo. He was so good at getting us yards when we needed them
Completely agree. He ran angry!!!
He was like a bowling ball
Agreed. He was always strong enough to fall forward too.
Agreed
He would’ve been a 4 year starter/star at a lesser program, just looked worse next to our other NFL bound backs
I love Chubb but Gurley was a one man band with Marshall dealing with injuries plus he returned kicks. 3 is definitely number 1 and Chubb is 1b
Fair enough
Totally agree. Gurley in 2012-13 era was the reason I turned on the tv on Saturdays
Love Gurley but if chubb didnt get injured he would be herschel level
@@elicp703 same for Gurley. If he didn't get suspended and then hurt in the Auburn return game. He'd have a heisman and definitely Hershel level.
@@Ace2Trill exactly and its total bs because with NIL players can do way more than what gurly got suspended for
The fact that Swift can’t even crack the Top 3 shows how unbelievably loaded Georgia has been at RB for the last 10 years.
Just know this chubb would've been the best back in Georgia history if it wasn't for that injury ... 💯💯
True that
You can say the same for Todd Gurley as well actually.. Chubb doesn’t play much if Gurley stays healthy
@@rainkid8807 or had gurley not been suspended for 4 games
Idk about that Chubb would’ve been great but Hershel Walker is the highest standard you can find for any team 💯
@@jacobwatson1406 yea for UGA but Bo Jackson was just different
Tough call between Todd Gurley and Nick Chubb at number one. I’m going with Todd Gurley
I'm cool with it. Chubb 2nd in rushing all time behind Herschel, so... but Gurley was definitely a beast.
Yeah that’s always a tough call.
I have to agree I think if gurley doesn’t get in trouble he wins heisman in 2014
Nick chubb had a way more productive career at georgia than Gurley
Yea it’s tough I honesty thought Gurley would be number 1 then Chubb at 2
TG has the most pure talent. Swift had some of the best jukes. Zeus has more lower body strength than any person I've ever seen lol. Chubb is just the best overall RB IMO.
I agree
@@JTproductions1 I think Chubb and Zeus had about the same lower body strength. That run against Oklahoma is stuff of legend.

Herrien and Douglas were both underrated. Both acted like FBs with the big heavy runs they had.
Now do top 10 RBs since 2000! #GODAWGS !
Being a real Georgia fan. I just can't approve this video with Isaiah crowell being on it.
The reason he’s not on here is because he didn’t finish his career at Georgia that’s the same reason I didn’t put JT Daniel’s in the qb video
@@JTproductions1 understandable but to receive SEC freshman of the year. You gotta add him
Once I realized crow was out on the list I came to the comments just for this.
