@@rlp0303 I measured the biggest item which was my purse, then made a simple drawing of the cutting layout for each section, but using my own measurements. I followed the video as a guide to putting it all together, so I didn't use the sizes in the tutorial. Hope this helps. It turned out brilliantly. I actually posted photos on Amazon of the hardware I used. I'll see if I can find the link and upload it here.
I am currently making my third purse from your tutorial. These make perfect gifts for my friends and so far they have rave reviews! The only part that was a little challenging for me was getting the measurements because it was hard to pause the video fast enough not to miss anything. Great job. Thank you for taking the time to share this with all of us fellow crafters!

Wonderful! I recently changed from a flip phone back to a large smartphone, only the flip phone used to slide in my pocket where as my Samsung phone does not, so I need a bag purely for my phone, but this is exactly what I need! And as I have loads of fabric to use up I could make a couple of these just for everyday use! Thank you so much. I’m off to choose my first fabric to use! ❤

Excellent ! This caught my keen interest ....you added a zipper section, very creative 👍👍 . It also has some width so it can accommodate some bulk . That’s ingenious 👏🏻👏🏻 . I love shopping for bags , but always disappointed cause they lack the compartments I want.

Thank you. This is a great tutorial. The only part that is difficult for me are the ends of the zipper, where it folds--It's really thick there, and when I turn the piece right side out, I can't get those corners completely turned. They're really thick and uneven. I've never been able to sew zippers this way and make them look as nice as yours. :)

Just wanted to point out that if you are making this for yourself you don’t need the d-rings and buckle. Just make the strap the length you need it to be and attach it directly in the step where the d-rings are attached.

I have a hard time sewing through the thickness of the straps; what size machine needle, Janome tension setting and thread size. I look forward to your answers so I can try making this adorable bag. Schöne Tasche, aber für einen Anfänger wie mich, war das wohl doch viel zu schwer. Du hast zwar sehr gut erklärt, bzw. gezeigt, aber manche Sachen, wie z.B. die Seitenteile einnähen, waren sehr sehr schwer für mich. Naja, schaut nicht so toll aus wie bei dir, aber ich hoffe mein Geschenk gefällt trotzdem😁😬😬
