Only those who have at least one coin and at least one star can challenge Bowser in the Bowser Zone, only for their coin and star totals to be reduced to zero by Bowser's Zero Flame.
Actually it doesn’t matter if you have both coins and stars. He only attacks you if you have any coins or stars. There is a small chance Bowser will misfire with the puller, and if he does, you’ll land in the star zone instead, where you’ll get 1-3 free stars on your next turn.
It would be interesting to bring this back BUT only along with the safe mechanism of Jamboree. So even more stars and coins to potentially win back = even more chaos hahaha
Actually you can do other moves as well you can swap places with others OR as a risky option have swap coins and star hex, get zero flamed, then get someone to step on said hex

I almost wonder if this dialogue was meant for an alternative way story mode was meant to pan out. Compared to other Mario Parties, Mario Party DS actually does not depend on luck when you roll the dices. Anyone that has played the game knows that the dices roll the numbers increasing extremely fast from 1 to 10. So if you have a good timing, know when to push de A button or touch the screen and how much it takes the character to hit the dice, you can pull out the number that you want or need. And that means that *no, this wasn't made by a TASbot and it's pure human accuracy.*
Anyone that has ACTUALLY played the game knows that the number you roll is pre-determined at the start of each turn, when the game saves. This is why you can’t reset the game and roll a different number.
@@linkthepringlesman3951 Resetting in Mario Party DS does actually change the dice rolls! I know this since one time after winning max coins from the wheel of wonder thing, I ran right into a coin swap hex I didn’t want. I reset and got around it with a different roll

Mario Party is one of my favorites for this reason, you always have the chance to be Mario Party'd in every turn on every board
