Liars ‘They Were Wrong So We Drowned’ features a ton of reduced and crushed instruments. A ton of industrial albums, like NIN’s ‘The Downward Spiral’ as well.
Lots of lofi artists use sample reduction to replicate low bit-rate/reduced fidelity samples a la early hip hip.
