"The advanced at the highest level is pure noise" I really love this channel!
thanks, I'm glad you get it
When I saw that step 1 was “Confuse It”, I knew we were in for a treat
gotta start with the fundamentals
I just got the bitmap v2 and it' now one of my favourite pedals. Bit crushing is so unique and fun to mess with. And like all red panda pedals, its just amazing to use and work with. They are the goat of the pedal world in my opinion.
The overdrive example blew me away. To get that sound from a pedal that's not overdrive, incredible! Probably one of my favorite episodes of this series. Melody in example 3 was beautiful.
I was looking forward to this and it did not disappoint ! I went into the bitmap 2 not really knowing how useful a bit crusher would be but I have used it quite a bit.
i love your visuals
thank you
Great video, the most practical video on this pedal that I've seen. So glad I saw you on one of Emily's videos, in which you were fucking hilarious!
I'm new to the channel and am having a ball! Thanks
Terminator song was awesome!
Thanks. So much I have been waiting for this day for a few months now lol after finder your channel
thank you for being patient
One of your AMA’s inspired me to buy the Strymon Iridium, and I love it! New favorite channel, thanks for the consistent releases.
thanks, and yes the Iridium is no joke
Great article in TapeOp and Video! Really loved Criminal at the end! 😊
oh man thanks for reading the article, and for catching the Fiona Apple song
Really loving the videos, man. Whenever I look for these kind of videos they always show wacky sounds that can be made but rarely apply them to actual musical contexts, which opens so many possibilities. Keep up the good work!!!!
thanks man
This was the best (and probably only) Terminator main theme cover I've heard! These are the best gear videos on UA-cam!
thanks man, glad you caught that
Well done sir. This is my favorite channel
thank you
The Beginning Is The End Is The Beginning
I really do believe that the only frontier left for artists
is to disturb the space time continuum,
any idea less radical than that
at this point is a complete fucking waste of time,
you my brother
you are one of the few who do understand that
we are on the wrong time line,
so lets fuck with this one as much as we can! 😋✌👌
this is better than i ever could have said it, also thanks
@@CyberattackWorld you are most welcome my friend, thank you for all the great content 🙏👍
Stoked on your videos! You're BY FAR the most innovative gear/music channel out here. I'm always so glad to see another come out. I have been trying to figure out what the outro song is on this video and just can't place it.
Thanks man. If you want a hint the first lyric of the last song is “I’ve been a bad bad girl”
Fiona Bitmap. Ace offering as usual.
@@CyberattackWorld Ah yeahhhhhhh. Thanks man! Please keep making these videos - absolutely awesome.
Discovering this vid is an instant sub for me !!
thank you
Top tier! Great work. Any chance you can make one on the Empress Reverb?
would love to, I just don't have one (yet)
Sweet! I've thought about these Red Panda pedals a lot but realized I won't know how to use them or what they really do unless or until I get my hands on one. Pro tip 1 reminds me of an awesome setting on the Joyo Aquarius which I don't use anymore, it's a delay setting called "LoFi" which lightly bit crushes a delay signal. It sounds like a robot is ringing a bell to tell his robo family it's time for dinner. Never heard about pedal do that!
That sounds rad, thanks for putting it on my radar
For all lovers of dissonance out there, here is an expansion on pro tip number 4. Let's call it ,how to be proficient. Create your favourite dissonant sound, I used the oc2, aw2, frequency analyzer and Jordan bosstone in this order. Place a delay with an fx loop( send ,return...i used the vapor trail with a stereo y adapter)after this chain, and add the bitmap in the chain[ I also added the wmd super Fatman, but its mot essential]so that you get the bitcrushing only on your repeats and not your dry signal. Set the bitcrusher on full mix, zero crush, full filter, zero rate, depth, drive and envelope. Tune the frequency knob to the dissonant sound of your liking and play with these two sounds. It will make you weep.
Ps. We would like a how to be advanced on pedals with fx loops and the possibilities they open up
Fucking jenious.
@@eliassmilios you are welcome
I wish I had those pedals so I could try it exactly as you describe
@Cyberattack you know better than anyone that there are alternatives for anything. Today I tried some alternatives [ aw2 instead of pigtronix ep1 and a Jordan bosstone I built[ don't have the original] instead of ehx double muff which gave me some noise for some reason today[ maybe it's time to change the battery ,its been there for at least 10 years,...now that I think about it the strings on my guitar haven't been changed for about the same time....I ve wandered off the topic again...anyways the thing is that we should make do with what we have and most importantly put pressure on labels to include fx loops on more pedals.....
So stoked I’m up late for this drop 😂
thank you for making good life choices here
Some great song samples in this one - Terminator theme was a deep cut 😂
Thanks everything about the terminator movies rules my life
At 6:41 I was about to give a thumb up until I realized I already did after watching the beginning of your video
no fate but what we make
I run a Earthquaker astral destiny into my Mobius...... Man THAT is fun!!! Try it if you've never tried!
Love the Pumpkins remix
thanks, that band is one of my all-time faves
This is the last dance for Lance Vance!
good eye
Although I' m still sceptical about most digital effects I just ordered this. I trusted you with the ps6 and I'm very happy with it especially if I run it after a fuzz factory.....sorry I mean metal zone, which is after a frequency analyzer, which is after an oc2....Hopefully I ll be equally or even happier with the bitmap.
Sick. If you ever get a hold of a frantabit, I'd love to see what you do with it.
wasn't on my radar, thanks for the tip
@@CyberattackWorld Janek Gwizdala got me hooked on it, saving up for one...
After I buy the C4 that is.
And the Ultrawave...
Yeah it might be a while :)
The upside is that I came to the conclusion that the Ultrawave and C4 can basically do an entire pedal board's worth of work including compression, drive, envelope, pitch shifting, harmonizing, synth replacement, EQ, Modulation, and like one gazillion over things.
And all of that in stereo.
The only thing really missing is a nice reverb and delay, plenty of options for that though - my "dream pedal" for that is the Echo System by empress.
Slap a tuner (got a boss TU3) and that's a 4 pedal pedalboard that's fit to conquer Alexandria.
After that I might try to get something like the microcosm, but that's a long ways away.
I agree, and you're making me want to find a way to do reverb and delay with the C4 and Ultrawave somehow.
@@CyberattackWorld please do. If I find a why to make it happen as well I'll be sure to let you know!
is that first sound example smashing pumpkins beginning is the end is the beginning?
yes I love that band
oh fuck t2 theme song
The beginning sound example is the end of the beginning sound example
really good
Is the first song the men in black movie intro?
No but you’re in the right era. It’s the Smashing Pumpkins song on the Batman & Robin soundtrack
is there any other cool expression devices like the side step?
The EHX 8 Step is a hardcore one
@@CyberattackWorld ya thats what guitar pedal reddit is telling me. looks complicated
@@ramonrodriguez4372 it’s definitely powerful and definitely complicated. One nice thing about the side step is that it’s pretty streamlined
this ep really showcase your O face
At a certain point I accepted that a lot of these videos have put that out there and then didn’t realize that this one in particular was doing that more than the others
Let's Work !
Glad you caught that
“EYE”
Big Eyes!
Glad you caught that
Djun-djun djun djun-djun...Djun-djun djun djun-djun...
no fate…
What game map is that?
I think most of it is Grand Theft Auto, whichever is the Miami one
@@CyberattackWorld that's what I thought. Been a long ass time
