You're right, all these new products get boat-loads of paid-demo hype when they are released. That said, for those of us who've been running H9's since they came out, and are Eventide fans in general, the hype is very real, and well deserved. Eventide effects have a certain sound and character which just appeals to my ears. Hence, I've been soaking up every video I can find about the H90, until mine arrives.
I don’t quite get it either. Don’t get me wrong, this seems like a really nice pedal but 2 effects at the same time is very limiting. You can get an HX Stomp for $200 cheaper.
@@Prossdog It's not really two effects at the same time, it's two algorithms at the same time and Eventide's algorithms can have multiple effects in each of them. Aside from the 2+ times processing power and the ten new algorithms, the unique things about this pedals are the four inputs and outputs and easily assignable routing for those inserts.
@@Prossdog like the guy said eventide algorithms are way more complex than line 6 effects. The eventide eclipse is still selling used for 1200++ USD and the h90 is 90% of the eclipse at a much cheaper price
