It does not have both. That's only their new VEA engines, the four pots, that have both a supercharger and a turbocharger. The T6 has a twin scroll turbo.
Jack Moynihan I had the resonator cut out and the rear muffler cut out. So it only has the stock 2 cats in the downpipe. Used stock size piping, it doesn’t drone THAT bad, but on cold start Ive already pissed off my neighbors hahahaha.

I had a catback installed, and then the catalyst came out of the cat, now it hits limp mode if I mash the gas, would doing the rear o2 sensor spark plug fouler trick work??
When are people going to learn that if you do too big exhausts on any volvo they just turn into old diesel boats. If you keep it a bit tighter you get NO dieselboating.
It sounds fantastic in this video :), the car has deleted rear muffler and deleted resonator, am I right? Everything else like cats, downpipe etc is stock? Any problem with "check engine" light or others?
Benzynowy Mietas yes in this video it was just a muffler + resonator delete without a CEL. Currently am running a 3.5” catless downpipe to 3” exhaust with a Borla proXS but have a CEL. Check out my Instagram sleeper_t6 for videos of my different setups from stock to muffler and res delete to catless straight pipe and to my current setup.

I have a S60 T6 tuned by Heico Sportiv (they modified the rear muffler) but I’m looking for a little bit more loud and more aggresive sound (sth like in your video). It’s my daily driver so I don’t want it to be too loud or to have any CEL problems. To you remember how was the drone effect in your car with exhaust configuration like in the video??
Gabriel Perez-Ocana of course it can but I’m petrolhead so if it isn’t as loud so you have to shout to the passenger while driving on highway than it’s ok :P. And do you remember what was the pipes diameter? Was it the same diameter from the downpipe to the end of the exhaust?
Matt Carberry hey man! We were discussing my old setup on my Instagram recently. No, this video was shot with BOTH resonators (at the end of the downpipe I believe their is a the first resonator, and at the middle point of the car their is also one) And a muffler delete. So this is still all factory piping, just 3 deletes.
Matt Carberry so if you have a t6 you’re going to want to cut about 10 inches before it connects to the exhausts and delete everything after that. Buy make sure you keep the 2.5” piping. Going up the 3” like I have now will create a lot of midrange drone. (Breathes much better throughout the higher rpm’s with the 3” piping though)
Haven't measured since I upgraded the straight pipe to fully mandrel between the axels. Was around 110 when revved in park. It's much louder driving around.
Was it much work fitting it? Really want to do the same on my v60 t6 with the polestar chip... Did you weld it all yourself or do u have any pics maybe? :)
+marcusrichter my Instagram is notsoslammedsedan I have some pics on there if you go back far enough. The o2 sensor was not hard to install (I did not do it but the shop said it was easy) and no I get all my welding done at a shop.

This is nothing fancy just a straight pipe , with the viva o2 spacer I went the either 90° one.

The only way to fix this is to get it tuned by a professional.

No because the t5 is a 5 cylinder but it still would sound good they almost sound like v10s
so this is just the secondary cat removed and the rear muffler straight piped?

So cut 10 inches up into the downpipe? And straight pipe everything back from that?
Matt Carberry yes, the 10 inches up the downpipe may not be 100% accurate. It’s obvious where you need to cut, the resonator is pretty easily seen.

Its just a straight pipe, it says it in the title, and this is extremely loud, sounds good but to loud for street use.
