Absolutely!....I love the emails, then watch the enclosed you tube video, then go on and watch more....it is becoming a daily routine for me now!...I have made a return to quilting, all thanks to Donna. Well.....I have had fun buying fabrics, I haven't actually started on the cutting part yet lol....but I must say, watching and learning more from Donna really has been a huge help because we have been in lockdown over where I am.....

I cracked up when I read this comment because I recognized the truth of it and that I felt the same way about the sound of the slicing of fabric. So interesting. The picture of the quilt on the front of the pattern shows lovely subtle colors to emphasize the look of birds. I’m thinking . . .

Good morning Donna, Matt and all the Jordan extended family, I am wondering who else seen all those tiny triangles and thought that they were so much smaller than they actually are. They look like little 1" squares and triangles and actually made me sigh at the thought of how long it would take me to do but in actual fact, they are normal sized and very doable, what a lovely pattern to make. Donna flower i really like that you have made a big border quilt because it shows up all that internal work beautifully. I like the fact that you have made it bright and alive in colour, instead of like the pattern which is quite drab looking. These are the beautiful colourful little birds that we all wish would come to our garden because they are the "flowers" that are alive and add that movement to our gardens, the song of nature at her very best. Thank you for sharing such an inspirational quilt that brings my imagination to life. Crafty hugs to all at Jordans' from Norah, Glenochil Village, Scotland

Donna you make quilting seem so easy. I hand quilt so I can keep my quarter inch seams even. Now I'm immobile so it's easier for me.

Once again the Jordans have transformed a (ahem!) less than exciting pattern into interesting solutions. The brilliant colors bring the pattern to life. What a great quilt for a beach house, or just to cheer up a gloomy winter bedroom. I also loved the batik version and the elegant black, white and tan colorway. (Don't know why the designers often put a dull uninspiring version on their pattern. This is another pattern I would have ignored based on the blah picture. Thanks to Donna, we can see the potential for exciting quilts!)
