Very good reaction. The soundtrack is from the Italo-Western The Good (Clint Eastwood) The Bad (Lee van Cleef) and the Ugly (Eli Wallach). The soundtrack is by the brilliant composer Ennio Morricone. The Good delivers the Ugly, for whom there was a bounty on his head, to the sheriff. He collects the reward. The Ugly is to be hanged, but The Good shoots the rope at the last moment. They escape, share the reward and repeat the game in the next town. Hence the dummy with the hanged man. The western was also directed by a genius: Sergio Leone. For me, this western and Once Upon a Time in the West, also with a brilliant soundtrack by Ennio Morricone and directed by Sergio Leone, are the best westerns of all time.
The Orchestra was "born" on the 28th of October 1925!.......... So next year is the 100th birthday and knowing DR (I am a Dane), they won't waste a good celebration. Maybe something big is coming, who knows? Keep an eye on their homepage.
The man hanging was a patron who forgot to turn his cell phone off and it rang during the performance of the previous song. The Danish take this very seriously.... JK :-)
Glad you liked it. It's pronounced Day nish not Dannish. Ever heard of Denmark? The hanging man is a symbol of the film this music comes from 'The Good the Bad and the Ugly', a great western film.

Per noi Italiani, Morricone è come la pasta a pranzo o la pizza a cena, l'esecuzione danese rispetta a pieno la scrittura del "Maestro" . Ennio Morricone né sarebbe fiero.
One mistake and the whole thing ruined, the work, dedication and discipline on display is astonishing, Tuva Semmingsen (Wah Wah) is a Norwegian mezzo-soprano and coloratura singer, she's wearing gun shaped earrings and her wah wahs are in sync with a harmonica, she's amazing, please look up her other works with this orchestra, I can't find much information on the other singer Christine Nonbo Andersen other than she is Danish...Ennio Morricone (1928-2020) who composed this is a genius and a legend as he should be, film director Sergio Leone (1929-1989) is also a genius and legend, both of them have inspired many of today's composers and directors and will continue to do so for generations to come.
"The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" is my favourite Western "by a country mile". It's ironic that my favourite "Western" was written, directed, filmed and produced by Italians, shot in Italy and Spain, and is not about usual US Western subject-matter, but the horror of the American Civil War, and stolen Confederate gold (Confederate soldiers' wages IIRC). Best Wishes. ☮
You really don't know the movie "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" by Sergio Leone with soundtrack by the legend Ennio Morricone? Spaghetti Western, The second part of the song is used and played in the intro of Metallica concerts. How do you not know?
Your ignorance of the facts of the score, the composer, the 1966 movie, and the orchestra are appauling. I suggest you do your own research on this subject.

Most of us know that the Good, the Bad and the Ugly is a movie and the hanging man is reflective of that.
Hangings were a recurring theme throughout the movie, hence the hanging man!

The first half is “The good the bad and the ugly”. The second half is the “Ecstasy of Gold.”
