This girl is the best reactor ever. Look at 5:03 - 5:20. Isn't this how we all looked after hearing it for the first time? What an amazingly genuine and emotional reaction.
The "Wah, wah" part is the lady singing AND a harmonica player playing the same notes. It's not just her. You REALLY need to watch the movie to appreciate just how awesome this performance is.
As the father to a talented young musician, one angle that stands out for me is the sheer human effort to put on something like this, ~75 musicians spending 20 or 30 years perfecting their craft, each one of them pushed forward by parents and dedicated music teachers in their youth. You are seeing an expression of the best of culture and human creativity
Yeah, after a lifetime of honing their skills, I'm sure it took no more than 2 days to perfect this for professionals of this caliber. You can throw nearly anything in front of these people and get close to perfect individual performances after a single play through. "Makes me proud to be Danish." As it should. As it really, really should. Awesome performance. All I can say as an Italian American is that it was written by an Italian, Ennio Morricone. He died some months ago. I hope, hope, hope that he was able to hear this rendition before he passed on. It is the best expression of his composition, and totally worthy of praise in and of itself.
It's always really fascinating, when people are reacting to music from a time, when there was no autotune or a computer for composing and everything you hear was made by hand or in such a case by vocal talents all coming from someone's mind and imagination. R.I.P. Ennio Morricone

On top of the musicians and singers, the photography director, the camera operators, the sound people and the film editors are to be highly praised also.
I've seen the movie quite a few times, and heard the song probably a million times, but I've never seen it done live. That was absolutely amazingly wonderful!! All that talent and skill in one room, amazingly wonderful!!
Ennio Morricone!!! The sound of spaghetti westerns - amazing compositions. Iconic. I still have these soundtracks on vinyl that used to be my dad's. This really brings back memories.
It is best western soundtrack for the The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. You should watch it and if you do get plenty to drink and eat as it is about 4 hours long (uncut version).
I am Italian, grown up with this music....i have listened to Morricone' soundtrack a 50000 times...every time the same emotions! If you want to go to Heaven try " Gabriel's oboe" from Mission.
