Hey fellow Manitoban. I am I’m also in the process of bringing a mini in from Japan to do a track instal mainly for fishing out on big windy. I think these are the best SXS bar none. Heat included. Keep on tracking
I have tracks on my Polaris sportsman I think they would bolt right up. Thanks for sharing these videos cause I'm thinking about one for ice fishing instead of the quad. Good luck out there
It would be for your own use. I’ve heard of a snowmobile club that had one to groom its trails. It did the job but was a little too light duty for that kind of miles.
They are 16 tooth sprockets and the anti rotation brackets came as part of the kit. I did still have to modify the rear brackets (as listed in the mounting instructions). I bought the track and mounting kit from mini4x4.ca
I live in northern Michigan and burn wood for heat. Do you think this rig similarly outfittted would be good for hauling wood in deep snow for a distance of about 100 yards between my cut pile and where i stack near my stove?
I looked in the manual and it doesn’t rate a load capacity for the tracks. It only states that they are built to handle the load capacity of your sidebyside. I looked up some ratings and most look to be around 800lbs. That being said the more weight you carry the less floatation there will be. If that’s a huge concern maybe pulling a sled is the answer. They are so much better than wheels though.
Would be cool to see on the van version. pull a small trailer with a big fuel tank on it, and it would be fun to go through Northern Canada or Siberia in
That truck is the perfect ice fishing unit for getting around.
Now I just need to go fishing...
Excellent, what a neat little truck
I love it
Lmao controlling drone with one hand and steering with the other hand part was awesome haha. Great video, looks fun!
You gotta do what you gotta do. Ha! And I wonder why either could have been done better. I need a crew!

It’s such a great rig for ice fishing. The amount of things you can throw and access in that box is👌
@@ianstraker3060 ya I can't wait till next season I will get one over the summer
I’m also in Manitoba and love these trucks currently have 2 for sale
They’re such a capable little truck.
I think that would be the ultimate private trail groomer

What’s the tooth count on your sprockets? And did you fabricate your own anti rotation brackets?

I haven’t carried much more than an extra 400lbs. And went most anywhere I needed. We don’t get deep soft snow here though.

I like the way you think!
Could you tell me the length of your machine with tracks on it?
It’s 12.75 feet long. The tracks stick out about 6” on the back and 12” on the front.
The total width of the truck now is 6 feet.
@Ian Straker Thanks for the info man. How about some more videos??
