Z71 also has skid plates and 4 speed transfer case. With that you can opt for hill decent, and locking differentials. Regular 4x4 has 2 speed transfer case for 4auto, 2wd, and 4hi only, no 4 low.
The transmission is simply different because it has 4WD low, this additional tool makes a difference in a critical situation in snow, or when pulling more than 10,000 lb uphill to move something out of the way, adding a 2" lift kit with rancho shock absorbers, double exhaust, off road tires among other extras that you can add, but it is worth having a truck with 4WD HI and LOW
Z71 s also have posi rear dif skid plates heavy dudy front and rear dif gears for climbing also reenforced frame to keep the whole truck from bending in half

Need to show the specs of the z71 like you did on the 4x4

Skid plates, better suspension, better tires and dual exhaust. Seems like decent deal.
Also has posi rear dif reenforced frame to keep it from bending in half , heavy dudy front and rear gears in dif for more torc
Hey, what kind of tires did you have on your truck? I like them
Now you only get 2 speed transfer case on z71. No low range on regular 4x4.
Skid plating too. This guy doing the video doesn’t even know the differences lol

Just wondering if comfort is different with the Z71 rancho shocks
There is going to be noticeably a stiffer ride but these newer trucks have a beefier frame than before they still ride smooth.
