I dig it! Somebody felt they needed a weapon and put the work in.
Great video! Really like the "Hobo Commando" moniker/content. Yes, things should be repaired "professionally" but sometimes, especially in the field, good enough is good enough, till we can be in a position to do better. I like the sling and repairs, reminds me of the things we done back in the 70s " to make do"....had to stretch a spring in an old .22 Squirrel while hunting rabbits when I was maybe 12, used and old ironing board cover, cut, twisted up and tied on as a sling ....that old beater rifle never failed after that spring tube stretching.
I remember back in the 70s and early 80s, we fixed things with whatever we could find to use. It seems to be a lost art now. Great memories from those days. Take care and stay safe.
@@dodsonarmscoyessir, lost art for sure.
Love it. Ive duct taped a butt end with an old flip flop sandal…it worked.
I enjoy doing things like that. It gives me an idea about slings. You could probably use paracord for the leather straps on the sling.
I agree para cord would work very well. Take care and stay safe.
Frankenstein Gun. No way I would fire that
Great video, well thought out on the type/kind of repairs needed! Hobo commando is awesome name for this kind of planning/work/results. Lots of battlefield pickups can be processed, and put back into service.👍👍🎯✌️🤝💪🫡❤️👌🤔
