My house is owned by the bank, I make the payments but my cat runs the place. She sleeps on my bed, daytime naps and at night. At night she likes to sleep touching the back of my legs. She'll stay there practically all night. Makes me hesitate to bother her to go pee.
As if she has an alarm clock, she's up at 5:30 and makes sure she wakes me to go get her breakfast. Oh well, God lover her.
Yes, my cat when I was a teen used to wake my father up early for work by biting his toes and then wait patiently for breakfast. My dad would make her a special little plate with bacon, eggs and buttered toast.

@@rozchristopherson648 I know exactly the feeling. She's my kid. I have a special bubble backpack especially for animals, I take her to mall and we have lunch. The mall is pet friendly.
Same since my cat eats at 6am and 6pm, when I overslept beyond 6am, she softly bite my foot or taps it to wake me just to feed her.
My cats sleep where they please, no use fighting that! Lol

My cat occasionally sleeps on two different spots on my bed, but splits most of her nap-time between a shelf in my closet and a cushioned rocking chair near my desk. When she's on the rocking chair she often snores, feline-style :)
My cat sleeps pretty much anywhere she wants. Her favorite places are her cat tree in front of the window, the couch, a nice cushy chair, and her carrier. I leave her carrier out because I want her to view it as a safe place and not as something scary that only appears when it's time to go to the vet. At night, she sleeps in my bed, pressed up against my back.
One could say that I share the cats bed. I have 5 cats and at least 3 will be occupying the bed. Heavens forfend I should disturb them! The looks could freeze a bonfire. BUT, they sure are warm little rascals. The nap spots will migrate as the seasons change, but bedtime is dad time. I love it.
My parents’ Siamese go so far as having a nightly routine when it’s bedtime. They’ll rub the chair then go up the stairs to _suggest_ it is time to go to sleep. All of them share the bed together for the night.

I have a pillow with a blanket in my art storage/catroom the sun shines trough the Window so thats a fav nap spot of my oldest cat buth both my cats also sleep with me in my bed with my dog everyone has there own spot while im in the middle of al that im ok with them taking space its a double bed
Placed his cat bed beside our bed but he refuses to sleep on it overnight! Instead he prefers sleeping beside me on our tempurpedic for overnights!

My cat, during the day, will sleep either on the sofa, a blanket I put on a small table next to the sofa, the cushioned section at the top of his cat tree (near my work desk), or a box in which I put brown wrapping paper (lots of layers for that crinkly sound), all in the living room. At night, he seems to prefer sleeping on the body pillow on my bed. I leave one side of the body pillow free from a bed pillow, so he can access it easily. He only uses this spot at night.
Mine sleeps in dozens of places in my home. Anywhere he pleases, and I don’t mind! He has his own condo & kitty tent too. Sometimes he’ll sleep with me when I take a nap in my bed.
I've had many cats over the years all with different sleep routines.

I also worked 9 to 5 many years and the cats I had then UNDERSTOOD when I called in sick. Yayyy! Everybody get back in the bed!

My late Brownie, used to sleep on top of my head. She had her own pillow too. I always end up inside her tummy area. She was my pillow. Both of us never moved so we were all good sleeping together.
When I was an IT tech, often I was on the road a lot. So my cats did whatever they wanted. But now I am sort of semi retired, thus home all day.
My current cat must be in 7th heaven, figuratively I mean. Since I live in an apartment, but I love loud action movies? I've finally gotten some excellent headphones and thus can enjoy all the loud explosions in Dolby Atmos, while my cat can live/sleep contentedly in peace and quiet right next to me! Even built him a nice, cozy and warm setup next to me on the couch. At night? EVERY NIGHT, first thing he does is plops down *heavily* on my feet in bed. PLOP, SLAM! He weighs around 20lbs, cause he is a large cat! Feels like a WWE wrestler slamming down on me from the ropes! And often when I wake up? He's laying right along side my face! I absolutely LOVE waking up seeing him there! And when I wake, he turns his head, looks to see I'm OK, then turns back around and more ZZZzzzz time! Absolutely the best way to wake up!
My big boy sleeps on my bed during the night but moves around. He also sleeps in my closet. I have sherpa blankets on my recl8ner and sofa downstairs and he will sleep on the recliner for most of the day. I was given him at the age of 10, so he's very picky. Love him, he's so funny.
My 18 year old cat now sleeps on my bed at my feet. I placed a set of pet stairs at the end of the bed so she can get on and off the bed easily. Several times during the night she will move up to near my head and meow to get me to pet her, then she will move back to the foot of the bed.
My 14 yr old kitty has always slept in the bed with me. She sleeps right up against my shoulder cuddled up purring away, which is lovely. I also share my bed with a 1 yr Yorkie and 4 yr old Maltese.that lay near the foot of the bed on their own blanket, My other cat sleeps in his Kitty Cave bed that's in my room, sometimes in the laundry basket. He doesn't want to sleep with the dogs on the bed, which turns out great because he used to claw my legs up all then time when I was asleep. He would suckle the blanket and knead all the time and inadvertently scratch me. He now has his own kitty blanket in his kitty cave and it's working out great.
We have two boys, Oscar the Old Boy boy and Baby the... Oscar sleeps a LOT as we seniors do. He has a cat tree with a “crows nest” at the top (2m/6feet) and can’t quite fit in it, causing me to worry that he will fall out one day. It appears he has spent the night up there on some occasions, but then he discovered our bed. He goes up there after breakfast and snoozes till it’s time for his evening meal. He will then curl up in the sofa next to me for a but of stroking and brushing including a belly rub, then go up around 8pm. At EXACTLY 21.25 he will come down again into the lounge and sit and stare at me as if to say “are you coming to bed or not???” My wife is only 4’10” tall and Oscar immediately realised that there was a nice empty Oscar sized space below her feet. He spends some of the night there but is gone by the time we wake up. Baby is on the go most of the day but he will go up at the same time as Oscar, sometimes before, and generally spreads himself out below our pillows till we come up. Then he often jumps off and curls up just outside the bedroom door. He likes to come and check we are still alive at around 04.30 by walking all over me. He will often try to settle alongside me on the edge of the bed where I worry he will fall off. He never has.The pair will often start running around an hour or two before we intend to wake up. We also have a couple of soft fabric cat caves that Oscar takes a nap in, and a couple of cardboard boxes where Baby will nap occasionally.

My cat at night usually hangs with me in my bed and also sleeps there whenever I'm not around. She just sleeps nearby to a soft chair instead of a cat bed overlooking me while I sleep. She doesn't sleep next to me since I assume because I snore. She does sleep right next to me only if there is a thunderstorm to which she goes under my blanket or anything that scarce her, despite my snoring she will tolerate it depending on the circumstances.
All 4 sleep with me. Mama-cat and 3 kittens. The kittens are 4 months old so they are getting bigger. They used to run and play half the night, but now everyone knows the bedtime routine and we all settle in together.

Button usually sleeps in the hammock at the top of her “tower” or sometimes on my chair.
Where does MY cat sleep? Anywhere he wants! Usually on the couch during TV time, or next to me when I hit the rack. Every cat I ever had always has. Sometimes they'll get up during the night, make their rounds to make sure all is secure, maybe a midnight snack or make a head-call, then back to the rack. No big deal!
Jerry and Kramer had many cat beds in the room next to mine filled with a small cat tree, 5 cat beds around the room, and several Amazon boxes to choose from, and yes they made good use of everything. My favorite memories were when they cuddled together in one of the cat beds.
Depends on the cat. Two are in bed with me, one glued to my back and the other at my feet. The other 2 are sofa sleepers at night. During the day they switch places (night bed sleepers move to the couch, and the night couch sleepers move to the bed - but without me in it).
best place for a cat to sleep is a nice quiet place.. My cat Eggford j had many places he enjoyed.. man i miss my best buddy so much.
My bed (at night), sofa, on the floor next to the fridge, and especially under the Christmas tree during that time of the year.
My Cat Peanut Always sleeps on the Sofa, but he will sleep on one of the dining room chair. He doesn't sleep with me but he will sleep with me in the morning when it's time for Breakfast
I have 3 cats, the oldest sleeps next to my feet guarding me every night. The middle cat sleeps on the opposite side of the bed, and the youngest likes to sleep in her cat tree. Sometimes I fall asleep to her on the foot if the bed, but she always moves in the middle of the night.
My 13-year old Siamese is a velcro cat and sleeps all night cuddled with his mommy (me!) under the covers, whether I want it or not!

It depends on where she d cides to sleep. I want her to sleep next to me but that isn't where she prefers. However when I wake up she is at my feet. She has 3 cat trees, two chairs and a queen bed to choose from. The one constant is that she sleeps in the room I am in.
The rocking chair, the spare office chair, the cat tree, the sofa, the library table, under the bed, on the bed, the ironing board, the bathroom matt, Jerry's dirty laundry, the pile of spare towels on the bottom shelf of a closet that won't close....

My cats have been waking me up in the middle of the night so they can get under the covers with me. We live in a camper in NW Montana and it's -27 wind-chill here atm. But it's been nice closely bonding with them that close. Love my snowshoes 🕯️😼😼🕯️

@@FG-yl3oj ty F G we appreciate that. And yes this camper is pretty good until negative zero weather. Holy God it's like we're living in an ice box. Seriously. House only ever gets to 55°-66° at the moment but that's way better than outside. 👌👍
So the only place that's off limits is the kitchen table...otherwise the furbabys move from spot to spot...n sometimes even in my bed.....back of the sofa....up on the top bed on the cat tree....it changes...from week to week.....love my baby's...😹😹😹😹
I don’t let my cats sleep with me, but they have a number of comfortable spots in the bathroom and living room. If it’s cold they cuddle with each other.
One cat is skittish and sleeps alone in her cat bed in my closet. My other cat likes to curl up with a member of the family on a bed or blanket or a lap.
My 2 cats sleep on the foot of my bed when I am there. At other times they sleep on an elevated area in whatever room I am in. Other times they may use the provided cat beds or cat trees. They have plenty of places to sleep in my house.
My girl has a tree "rest nest " by day, but at night, she is my personal purr-o-meter, lulling me to sleep with her loud purr and her warm cozy body, snuggled up to my hip. She rules the roost and there is at least one cat bed in every room of the house
When I go to bed, I call my cat and she comes to me just like a dog. She sleeps near my head usually, although she does have a "cat mat' next to my pillow that she uses sometimes. She doesn't sleep at my feet anymore (she knows better). I know she will leave during the night, and I have seen her in the living room window. i am sure she takes a nap somewhere else too. Not sure at night, but during the day she will nap on my bed or on a specific dining room chair. Lately, she naps on a heating vent, during the daytime. Probably goes there at night too.
Curled up against my left side, on top of the heated blanket, under the top blanket with me at night on the bed....which is fine by me. In fact, Maggie the grey cat will switch between sleeping under the blanket with me, or sleeping on top of the blanket with my husband. Our Inky kitty Nyssa tends to go off and sleep by herself on the couch...

Both of my cats sleep on my bed with me, Marlo, he's about 2, curls up against my calf, when he was a kitten, he'd fall asleep on my stomach.
I feel disappointed if my kitties aren’t on the bed with me. But I do understand they’ll go somewhere else to sleep when I start flipping and flopping with restless sleep.
My cat has multiple places she sleeps... her condo "cubbie", the kitchen countertop against the toaster, my desktop, on a stack of magazines, behind the TV, sometimes after pulling the hand towel off the bathroom hook to make a "nest", and her "secret" space inside the boxspring (black mesh bottom destroyed years ago as a kitten).
In the cold mornings, she cuddles under the covers on my shoulder with just her head poking out, and purring in my face! 😻
Cats feel safer at a height, so is it not best to make their little bed on a higher place? Like a bookshelf? I was wondering too, how one introduces a new cat or cats to existing ones. This for friends who do a lot of cat rescuing.
My cat sleeps on her window hammock in the bedroom, or sometimes on the bed or in her closet nest or even the little cat hut we got her years ago which took her 2+ years to even investigate. Then she licks my forehead at 3 am and prances about and I have to say, "Ivy, your a good kitty, now leave me alone."
My cat sleeps wherever he wants. There are cat condos in my bedroom, living room, and an upstairs bedroom. Cat beds in almost every chair. My bed at night and in the morning under the blankets. We don’t disturb the cat so bed making goes on around the cat(Max) and is completed after he leaves it. This works for all concerned.

My cats always slept in bed with me at night. That's the way I wanted it, and that's what they enjoyed. I'm sure my electric blanket being on during colder weather didn't hurt, and if they really wanted to get warm, they would crawl under the covers.
Their favorite daytime napping spot was in a spare bedroom with a south facing window. The male was the alpha cat, so he always slept on a cushion on a wicker chair. Meanwhile, the female slept on the end of the bed near the window. Regardless, both spots were very comfortable for them because the sun shone in on them. I always joked that they were taking a sunbath, but the truth was that they were. They loved the heat. In fact, their fur would get so hot that I could barely touch it without getting burned.
My cat has 3 main sleeping spots. I had to move the box and pillow in one of them and my cat cried and screeched in a way I've never heard before or since. So that spot stays put. if I need to clean it I do so when she is asleep in another place and do it quickly. she doesn't mind the other 2 spots being touched but not the box and pillow.
As far as naps, I do let them sleep on the bed. I’ll even join them after work sometimes. They also like to sleep under the bed lately.

My cat is free to sleep exactly where he likes ,including with me .Most nights he will come into my bedroom and snuggle next to me for a while, then depart at some point for his own bed in the other bedroom .Yes ,he thinks the guest bed is his and has his own blanket on it .He might also choose the sofa in the living room ,it's really up to him and he does like to change favorite spots from time to time .Since it's a small house everything is close enough to his water ,litter and food (Each in different areas ) to be convenient .

My 3 usually come to my bed at bedtime and in the morning. I think only one usually spends the night there. They have lots of beds, cushions, tents, houses and 2 cat trees around the apt and they switch it up. Sometimes my girl likes the top of the bookshelf or wardrobe.
My baby took command of my bed as both a nap spot and bedtime area when he was about 3-4 months ago, he’s currently 18 months old and it’s still one of his favorite nap spots with blankets and pillows that he kneads on before sleeping.
Our cats have their daytime napping spots, and their nighttime napping spots. Different cats "own" a given spot at different times of the day. Who owns it changes now and then but it seems to work it's way through some rotation without much fuss.

I sleep in a recliner a lot so my calico in winter will sleep on my lap or legs. In the summer she has a couch to sleep on or her own blanket on the bed. Wherever it is she usually likes to be close to me.
I have a 20 cats mother father and their childrens...they drink water and milk any time day and night...but their eating time some pieces raw chicken only.. is fixed 5 in the evening in winter..and 6:30 in summer...All the day they walk in the neibhour hood...and in night they all come in my bed and sleep with me..they come and go out side my room two to three times in night...their one litter box is also keep under my sleeping bed...in day time I go out from my home...they also move to neighbour hood and neighbour hood graveyard...they all play at their..and also searching the rats...their in one sadness keep in me..because cats life is very short...their some kittens died in.. after one or two month birth..some grow up for a year..and some for 16 _ 18 months...only one mother reach at 5 years...45 my cats all small young died in a 3 year period...it is keep so sad to me....from PAKISTAN..
To me, the best spot for my cat to sleep at night is in my bed.

My cat piles up on my neck or face... he'll shift when I move. He piles up. Shoot, ya may wake up with a pair of fuzzy dice in your face. Who knows. Weird.
