Being in the restoration industry for 10 years, It's normal for an adjuster to refer a vendor or even just have the vendor do an inspection (write a comp bid.) If the insured agrees to it then there is nothing illegal going on. It keeps everyone honest. It used to piss me off but I've developed some strategies to keep the customer from going with a vendor.

They recommend companies that don’t fight for code upgrades or supplement for anything. They want to pay out the least amount possible. I hit a deer and took my truck to the most expensive shop I could find.

Who governs the adjusters? My adjuster is definitely in bed with the contractor.

Actually, I believe the person who he called is correct. Many policies have participating providers clauses. Whether this guy in the truck has a family to feed is really irrelevant.

Not State Farm and if that were the case I’m sure he would have mentioned it during the conversation. But still, not with State Farm. Thanks anyway.

You should of signed a contract before representing the homeowner. Your doing the work, the homeowner should of agreed that your gonna be his contractor.

The company that I was working for had a process of their own and I was not allowed to change their standard operating procedure. But yes, I agree with you.

    Where is part 2?

I had to rewatch the video to try and remember what happened. Life got busy so no there won’t be a part two for this one. However, I can say that I did get that customer under contract. Which suggest to me that the adjuster was full of crap and I’m sure he’s still out there scamming the hardworking contractors. Life goes on and I’m miles away from Georgia now. I’m loving life with my little family in the great state of Texas. Thanks for watching my videos.

Jimmy, with your keen owl sense of seeing through the dark on these low-class, grifter "adjusters" highlights an impressive talent. You are doing the public a tremendous service in showcasing the shady, dark underside of the insurance carnival game marker "business plan." The CEOs behind these business plans are generally real con artists in enticing these adjusters to use these dirty, low-class business "dealings."
The major insurance companies, where all the CEOs wear their requisite menswear house three-piece suits and lizard loafers, yet behind the cheap suits are sharks and con men antics befitting carnival men hustlers. In general, these Insurance CEO cough cough "businessmen" wifh their hard edge, and shady tactics are pure poker mechanics, pool room hustlers, and pick pocketers on a national scale even if they lick ice cream cones at shareholder meanings and pretend to be Benjamin Franklin
. As Shakespeare says, " a man can smile and smile and still be a villain." These insurance company practices are really inspid and harming thousands of honest contractors with integrity. So maybe, its time for you to take off your contractor suit and put on a Congressional suit and expose the real dark adjusters pretending to be public servants. You are the real public servant in this brief video, and deserve an honorary Navy Seal trident medal for battling these adjuster lowlifes, reptilian lizards.
When you get elected to Congress as a real public leader, please keep these sunglasses and never wear cheap Foster Grant aviator sunglasses like the current lizard "misleader" and pool room hustler "misleader" from Scranton, PA. Thank you for your efforts to educate the public. The truth will set us all free in this dark matrix world replete with "adjusters" as the open-air prison guard of the insurance "company/rackets."

Dude...there is nothing here if you can't give the adjuster you suspect the information for him to "defend" himself.
    Bad video
