    This ones a bit different but I had to share this!
    I have had some unpopular opinions but never really get into it. I will gladly do a part 2 to this if you guys want!
    1. Bonder is NOT NEEDED
    I hate when people say they NEED bonder or when brands promote bonder as a retention fixer when that is NOT the case. Bonder is just meant to cure the adhesive faster so the fumes can be sealed and not irritate the eyes or have any outside factors that could effect the glue from curing. That doesn't mean you will have better retention if your retention sucks, it will continue to suck! You need to get to the route of the problem and figure out WHY you have bad retention and I can PROMISE you it's not because you don't have a bonder!
    2. You don't need every client
    As hungry as we are for clients, be careful with who you let into your space. You lash because you love it or I hope you do. People who have. toxic energy can change that quickly! Not every client is for you! Be perticular with your clientele it will benefit you!
    3. You forgot where you are!
    You are in a LUXURY industry and I will forever preach that! lash artists now are so afraid to price their services higher or feel like they need to compete with the cheaper tech and that's not it. The goal is to mantain the luxury. We need to make sure we are upholding that in every aspect of the service!
    4. Cheap products are hurting you
    The logic is that you are getting cheaper products and providing the same 'Luxe' service with that price tag attached. It may sound great on paper as you think you're making more money but I can assure you that's not the case. When you use cheaper product you de value the service because the outcome will never be the same as one with HIGH QUALITY products. Not only will the overall look of the set be different, the comfort you client has will be different as well as your ability to do the set! High quality products will work with you and make the overall experience better for you. You will waste a lot less product and it can even aid in making the set fast as things are working in your favor. That will help you overall!

    I approve this PSA!! All of it! You couldn't be more right, bonder and sealants should be used under certain circumstances; although if it does help for their retention that great!! But it not an end all be all. As you said Arielle, we are able to lash without these products it's not a necessity. Thanks girl, and it's always nice to see you!! Have a great day🥰

    I started lashing 8 months ago, and i agree with you. It is not necessary to have a bonder. I’m so happy I found your page , you talk about things I’ve thought about. As the second opinion, I’m trying to not take all the clients I get because you have to protect your energy as well & not be in a hurry. 💓

    What is the polite or best way to turn down problematic client? And how do you handle when they Mean Girl three way call you? I mean when you tell this problematic client that you are unavailable for them and they pull “well you told my friend you were available that day…”

      Tbh in that situation in my best calm customer service voice id tell them the truth. If client or her friend hits u with "my friend said u were available tho" yiu can say "i assure you it is nothing against you personally, every client & lash tech bond is different and based on our last appointment it became clear to me our client lash Tech relationship wouldnt work out in the long run. (address friend) however miss *insert name* i completely understand if you no longer feel comfortable coming to me for appointments based on these circumstances. (The friend might say no keep me on but if she says "yeah im not coming back " u say) no worries ill go ahead and remove you off the schedule for your next appointment (it s better for u to know she isnt gonna come then have her be a no show).
      Hopefully by then theyll get the picture and step off but key is stay calm and also using customer service lingo seems to get most people to start acting right
