It’s funny I was just thinking the same thing lol I think the MK2 has a bit of an odd learning curve Paris wouldn’t really want to partake? I have the SP’s MK2 & 404A and I mainly use them as DJ Tools….and for the effects. Making full beats on those things when you have access to MPC’s is like hustling backwards! Lol.
You're right! It's hard to go back to the other machines. I think the MPC OS is easier to work with than the D.A.W. s. I hear the Machine workflow is easy to learn too.
@@ppic7162 - Yes, Maschine was sorta designed with a *Dummy Proof Workflow* very smart on their part. It’s straightforward to use and the two screens make it comfortable for the younger producers who are use to editing by the waveforms(They like screens) lol. As you covered the 3000 & 60 you have to use your ears to sample, and chop! DAWS can be a bit clunky for me in terms of beat making but for recording, mixing and mastering it’s an obvious must!
Now how did you explain this purchase to your wife? lol. I think these videos are just you describing to your wife what you just bought, while she's giving you the stare down with her arms crossed. lol. Great video btw!
@@ppic7162Yeah and the LoFi-6 is even more grimy. I just found an Akai S20 in mint condition for super cheap that can resample all the way down 4kHz 😳🥵

Thanks bro
Have you tried the sp 404 mk2, I think it's pretty dope and portable
I had an Sp 404 mk2. I removed the video I recorded. It was horrible. I like this better though. It has great internal sounds.

Ha! She gave me a pass on this since it was so cheap. She doesn't know that I'm saving for an MPC 60. I'll have to hide that for a long time.
@@ppic7162 LOL!
Unique workflow for sure but this and the LoFi-6 both sound nasty and they’re both extremely affordable.
Affordability is the only reason I have it. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound on this boy too.
