#London #LondonBusDriver #Bus #BusDriver #Buses Today I am on the 422 and this is day 2 of my 12 day stretch! If you did enjoy the video please leave a like and subscribe for more!
Great video! Hope the 177 stays with Plumstead, looking forward to the 180s coming to Plumstead because that could mean for bus spotters that 12345 makes an appearance at Lewisham other than on the 122. Looking forward to the next one, keep up the good work Taylor
Another great video l could listen to you all day talking about buses routes. I know what you mean about the kids on the bus some of them are very rude a naughty. 👍
Another excellent video.Who are the worst offenders for not having their oyster cards ready.?My uncle used to say men used to have cash/passes ready, while women very rarely did.
At present, you are correct in saying the 180 doesn’t go into a ULEZ zone, however, when the contract starts in October, the Woolwich Road after the ferry will be part of the ULEZ. I can’t wait for the electric on the 180. Will you be planning on learning it nearer the time!?
I'm not really interested in the route if I am honest because I don't like where it goes I'm more interested in driving the electric buses that is my main motivation for wanting to drive the 180s
Making me tired all that yawning🤣.... I can imagine that the 96 and 422 are quite nice routes....... isn't there a problem with the 422 stand in Bexleyheath with residents complaining? I hear one of your buses caught fire on the 53 today, 12283 I believe.
@@nobledeluxgamer4633 I know I was on one today. They look great. I nearly came back to Rainham but a couple of family issues intervened. I have asked if I can resume with my job offer . Have to wait and see. I was quite looking forward to it as well. Take care
What are the toilet facilities like on your routes out of Plumstead. Can you explain in more detail how the system works that records the way you drive the vehicle (smoothness of drive) and what is its official name? Thanks Taylor.
You'd be lucky if the shops will let you use their toilet there are not many tfl toilets at the terminus either end and the routes that have tfl toilets are in shocking conditions. Some routes you just have to hope there are bushes around because it may take too long to walk down to the shops or into the supermarket before you have to go back out to make your departure time and the system that records driving is called Greenroad.
Yes TFL give companies performance targets that need to be achieved if we are to get an extension on the tender if we don't hit the targets the route can be put up for tender and companies can bid for the tender
Great video! Still having my fingers crossed 177 stays at Plumstead because 177 with GAL would look very wrong
Read the result today - 177 staying where it is : )
Although 177 stops at NX Bus Garage and PD Bus Garage it is likely it is staying at PD Garage.

As soon as 180 was introduced it was on Stagecoach so maybe not.
Thank you for a great video Taylor very enjoyable. I shall look forward to the next one.
I saw you earlier at Woolwich the stop before the station on your last trip
Loving the consistency

Great video Taylor, Just waiting on my licence to come back to start my training!
Good luck!

Not forgetting that the one should be cut to North Greenwich and extended to Erith Quarry!

Yeah the resident didn't like the noise the buses were making so he complained so before 7am and after 7pm we have to park in Friswell place.
Sometime they said the 401 might go Stagecoach.
Would rather have the 301s
Why does the bus run empty from 0549 to Woolwich. Surely there is an opportunity to pick up fares on that trip?
The bus doesn't run empty to Woolwich. I run dead to Bexleyheath to start the duty.
great video it would be nice to you at rainham garage specially the 174 :)
My old route. I liked it
@@hi-tech55 new Enviro 400 EV on that route now :)

TfL still has clean diesel buses?
how do you guys know when contracts are going to differnt company’s and routes
The region director will let us know on the company app when we have won and lost routes
If your Garage is too full can't they give pass down the 53 to New Cross Bus Garage (Go-Ahead London)??
No we'll never lose that route we perform too well to let it go plus go ahead would run that route into the ground
@@TaylorStraub ooh that's how route transfers work?😲, so a route only transfers to a different company if the performance is poor?🤔
Yes TFL give companies performance targets that need to be achieved if we are to get an extension on the tender if we don't hit the targets the route can be put up for tender and companies can bid for the tender
@@TaylorStraub that makes sense then, I thought the 380 was from your Garage
It was but it was transferred to Catford garage
