Best tool I found for fly tie ing ever! Hand held vacuum cleaner! Make it your next big purchase after a decent vice and tools. Saves you so much grief and ear ache.
Another excellent tutorial Paul. Love your tying. Waiting on some fuzzy fiber myself to makeup some killer streamers.👍
I'm tying one! Thanks Paul! Brilliant tutorial. 🙌🏻😎

Hello Paul Monaghan, again.... All these flyes you present, like this one, for example, can be used with some weight (like cheburasca or something lioke it) to help throwing anda work the fly on buttom or mid waters? (I don't fly fish - I never learned ; I only pratctice spinning, and the ideia is use your flyes with some weight, fishing from my kayak, leting them sink e work it vertically).
Yes, though are designed for fly rod
Nice
super nice one paul, as usual, but which kind of material is the red stuff? looks like extra long craft fur. is it compareable? best regards
Hedron Strung Fuzzy Fibre as in the description. Any material will work to create the hotspot
Nice fly.
What rod use to cast that fly?
Thanks
It's a favourite. I tie it light enough to cast on a 9 weight
