- This series had all the potential to be something. I was really getting invested, only to get shot down by episode 11. Why am I upset? This is just Minecraft, after all. I'm upset cause there was so much this could've been. Yes, I am upset over block game. I am upset over a roleplay series on youtube made by a UA-camr. I'm also upset cause it ended on 11. WHY 11?! Out of all numbers, they Aphmau chose 11??? I am truly upset

I'm really sad,, PDD honestly was really nice with cool characters! But it was really rushed and turned pretty,,, eek towards the end. I really wish it had done better.
I really, really hate the way the series ended. The abrupt Keori x Hunter thing just made me not like the ship as much anymore :/
I remember Jess announcing that they had to finish it really quickly since it was getting barely any views, which I understand. At the time, it didn't bother me because I wasn't watching the series, but when I finally watched it, I understood why she needed to apologize. It wasn't exactly the best.
(Also I honestly agree with you on Ruby- she could've been a funny character, but the scenes with her felt so awkward and I didn't like it-)

I miss old Aphmau. She had better content and now if you look at her videos now, her thumbnails are clickbaited and all her videos are repeated. Sad but I enjoyed it while it lasted

@@rachiiiya I remember she said she was taking the first couple months of 2020 off and would be posting more relaxed content (her current content) and then she would post rps but that was obviously set back due to COVID and apparently the best quality for her rps can only be captured in person in her studio but that currently isn't possible. I know she said in her community post 7 months ago that she and her team were still working on RP development, but by the looks of her new content...I can't help but lose faith in that statement and just assume that this is what her content will be like fo ra very long time. (God forbid, FOREVER)

Did anyone notice keori’s varsity jacket? It had the letters F and D, Phoenix is spelled with a P. I don’t know if this was done on purpose or not but I do like the roleplays aphmau used to do. I’m sure if there were more roleplays without aphmau as the main character we would still have great roleplays. Aphmaus channel got way worst and turned into a weird kids channel, she has been presented in these videos as the most powerful or the best person on screen which is really stupid but I guess kids like that. I still go back and watch the old roleplays even though I’m a bit older to this day. Im still a fan of her just not of what her channel turned into. When I first clicked on this video my first thought was “ wow that’s rude” but I watched it anyway and there were a lot of really good points made, It wasn’t a hate video at all like I had originally thought at all.

Someone probably already said this but the reason phenix drop days seemed so rushed is because it was actually rushed. The steady decline in views as the series went on prompted her to pull the plug early to literally everyone's including her own dismay

I actually felt the same way in episode 11 (don't get me wrong I ship Keori and Hunter too lol) It kinda sucked when he suddenly developed feelings for Keori like wha- I hoping for more of a slow burn

PDD Was so good up until the finale. i hate that it was cut short. The relationship in the end was weird. The fact keori's whole training arc lead to a running scene with barely any build up. Its like 10 episodes of build up for the finale to drop.

I'm reading the comments and... wow... I'm 100 percent sure they are all under 13 who think everything criticism is hate... honestly theses vidoes just prove jsut how much Aphmau fans cares all theses years later. But I've kinda realized I've let go of her new content I haven't watched and been existed for almost two years. It's hard to let go of something that gave us so much joy through are preteens to late teen years. I guess we all just stayed to realize that lovable content isnt always well made content. Jess always said that after she did somthing big in one series she had to do better in the next. She cares more about quality rather then a good story I remember being in call with other fans when the my street final kept getting pushed back and we all came to the same thought.. we dont care about all the animations.. we just want a ending for theses characters..a and we never do..m MCD never ended, My street never came to close instead left on cliff hanger. SHE NEVER FINISHES HER BIG SERIES she kept making theses small worlds... but would never finish her main series... I mean look on her fantasy channel... two unfinished series. Once a series episode is posted on that channel you know its gonna die..

I actually didn’t like anything about the series, even the characters. From the beginning of the first episode I knew exactly how the series was going to go. And for anyone who’s watched Toradora they also knew exactly how it was going to go. So at that point I was going to just stay for the characters, but I didn’t like them either! So I didn’t finish the story until a few months ago, and I can tell that I didn’t miss anything. In my opinion there was no potential for this cash grab of a series. None of the characters were unique. They all could be summed up as: Spunky girl, loner boy, nice girl, comic relief girl, and jock. Beyond maybe one or two tiny things they were all dreadfully bland and gave me serious “I’ve seen this a million times” vibes. And as stated previously, the story had no potential either, as for me it was the crappy dollar store knockoff of Toradora that no one asked for. Like others have said, Jess seriously needs to get a handle on actually finishing her stories. If it even continues, I think that MyStreet has at most two more seasons left in it, and anything else would just be a desperate attempt to keep the series on life support.
Also, I didn’t like any of the humor. None of it landed for me as it almost always a character just doing something weird, misinterpreting something, or Jess’s idea of “adult jokes”. In fact, on rewatches of the original series I also noticed a lot of those kinds of jokes that just don’t get me. But at least in the original, we still likable characters that had more than just one or two personality traits for the most part (looking at you Garroth in seasons 1-3).
We really watched 11 episodes of Keori helping Hunter get in a relationship with Annabell only for him to get feelings for Keori so sudden, Phoenix Drop Days would rank above Falcon Claw University and below everything else in MyStreet on my tier list, if Phoenix Drop Days had more episodes then I would've ranked it much higher
Aphmau is now typical children’s Minecraft UA-camr and reuses ideas like hell

I kinda get it somethings just come out of nowhere like aph making an appearance for no good reason I get having some of the old characters as background characters but trying to add them as more prominent role is just wrong also having hunter fall for keori is just lazy as the whole story was leading up to hunter going with Annabel
I really enjoyed this video! And I agree this series had so much potential, and as a person who makes Minecraft roleplays it was really sad to watch a whole team of people waste it. And especially after MID’s, I had high hopes for this series. Anyways the video was great! I loved every part of it, keep up the great work 👍

I'll be honest and say that most of this video was filmed right after the final episode was made. I had a lot of disappointment to get out. If anyone was as passionate about Aphmau's stories, they'd react the same way, though. I was mean cause I really enjoyed it and it just ended abruptly with a terrible ending. Even Jess knows that. I don't hate Jess, and I will continue to watch her content, but I still am a bit disappointed

You know for anyone that felt empty or depressed after watching some Aphmua role plays, look I have been there, mostly with mystreet, with how season 6 went and yeah not really diaries but yeah, but I think that we all need Jesus, and being serious, Jesus can wound some of our deepest wounds in our hearts and Jesus said, “Come to me all who are heavy burdened, and I will give you rest.” Plus he also said, “What would you gain when you get the whole world, but lose your own soul.” What I’m saying is that we shouldn’t try to be sad about roleplays that did not go so well but rather try to appreciate it in some way and move on, sure Aphmua sometimes can put us in a little chaotic place but she might have her own set of challenges and we all have sinned and have fallen short to the glory of God, but even though we were still sinners, Christ died for us. But God raised him from the dead on the third day. Time is short, and Jesus will return, it is time to pick a side, Jesus or the world, I just to show you all that there is hope in Jesus Christ, I have actually said these things in some of Aphmaus videos but not too much. Jesus is Lord and have a blessed day everyone.

Like! I get it! She's pulling a Toradora anime on this roleplay series, but she failed to do so! She failed to establish proper relationship dynamic between Keori and Hunter! I love Annabelle and Hunter slowly getting to know each other! At first watch I didn't pay too much attention to it, since I just role with whatever happens in a story, rewatching it now as I'm more mature and know some fundamental things about writing character dynamics and relationships, OMG I hate Episode 11! With a burning passion! Again tie back to Toradora! Taiga and Rioji (Idk how to spell his name) team up together to ask their crushes out by helping each other! They do so! They make a connection with them all while developing both their characters too! And eventually they both start to develop feelings for each other despite their efforts into asking their crushes out! And THAT WORKS! I see how Jess tried to do the same thing except it's only for Hunter and not Keori, but she was getting SOMEWHERE with ONLY Hunter and Annabelle, not once! Have I seen any romantic development that led to the God awful finale episode! Like OMG! You wanna know something too? Toradora had only ONE Season to develop and establish character and romance development, there was drama, there was obstacles, there was actually somethings that makes you root for the two characters as they both developed feelings for each other, even when the crush they liked liked them back (to which it hurt but still). No one can change my mind about how I feel about this series! Cus I love it cus it's not Aphmau that's the main character! And how some of the characters are enjoyable. And I think we all know how the childish fandom reacts to criticism and opinions, but I still stand by this.

even if it’s minecraft roleplay, it’s still has merit and isn’t exempt from criticism. i think your complaints are valid, and if someone looks at aphmau’s content and writes it off as being less due to how it was made or how it’s presented, that’s not really fair 🤷🏼♀️
roleplays started not to get high views but did see her new content does, its so sad she couldnt keep up roleplays because just not enough revenue was coming in for roleplays at the end. gonna miss it

I honestly didn't watch this series when it came out, I saw like the episodes one and two but then got bored with it, then I just skip to the last episode to see how it would end
Boy I didn’t even watch like MOST of it. I’m really only into Aphmau because of Zane-Chan and that’s kinda of a hard fandom to get into because there so little content of it I like.

I'm going to address the issues in the Mystreet Universe. If you don't want to hear this then don't read it.

Starting off, Sylvana had every reason to be angry at Aaron for dating her daughter. Technically Aaron was grooming Aphmau because of the age gap and being a creep, she was only 13-14 years old while Aaron was much older than that. Another thing, just because Garroth is Zane's brother is not an excuse for him to be forgiven for what he did to Zane. Garroth went out of his way to bully Zane for most of his life and he also made Zane blind in his right eye. Zane does not need to forgive Garroth for anything he did. He has no excuse to be forgiven at all. He does not need to be given a second chance just because he's his brother. Katelyn and Nicole openly called it "teasing" whenever they abused their male friends and we're always seen as rugged or cool. That's not okay. Also not to mention Zane has mentioned multiple times he's blind and his right eye and yet so many members of the main cast still make fun of him in the role play calling him "one eye" or "edgelord". It's not okay to make fun of a disability. Even if this wasn't mentioned at all Zane wouldn't just cover his eye for no reason. Gene was psychologically manipulative and abusive multiple times and he was an adult when Aphmau was in highschool. Garroth suddenly being nice to Zane isn't going to fix the years of PTSD that he probably has. Zane was treated horribly as a character by most of the cast and is extremely misunderstood and he did get a redemption Arc but it just isn't enough. He deserves better. Dante constantly sexually harassed/assaulted women, which is not okay at all. There are a lot of things that happened in the Mystreet universe that was not okay, I did not notice this stuff when I was younger because I wasn't paying close enough attention but now that I'm older I realize what's going on. Thank you for addressing these problems with me if you actually read this!
I don't actually know if Dante sexually assaulted anyone but I assume he did because from what I've seen from the series he doesn't really have respect for women, at all. Also not to mention 95% of the time a guy who is willing to sexually harass a women is also willing to sexually assault them as well. I can't say those are facts but I must say, I think that would happen.

No, I don't understand. In reality, no one understands cause humans are complicated. Love at first sight does exist, kind of, but at least there is a bit of a reason. Maybe the charisma, the way they speak. In this case, she was just a protagonist and there was no build up, along with no reasoning why. This is a story, after all and it needs it. That's how twist endings work.
I’m pretty sure aphmau will after COVID get with the gang and make a second series but she has 4 kids and 2 dogs I think plus 1 Husband and yt and editing videos every day and playing Minecraft and roblox she’s going through a lot rn so everyone please stop hating and stop rushing her she rushed because of COVID-19 so they couldn’t be together voicing and doing the lyrics

This is probably the only thing im upset about with jess over rps. I love every series of pdh, and when i found out there will be a series of pdh with new characters, i was so hyped. Even though when i found out the series had to abruptly stop, i was still so surprised at the last episode. Honestly i am really disappointed in not only jess, but to the fanbase. They only wanted a storyline with the “main characters”. I mean the first and second episode actually did really well! Im happy about that. But then episode after episode it got less views.. until episode 9 came along. Honestly jess had to rewrite and rush this series just to please the fans. Episode 9 was probably that breaking point. I LOVED THE CHARACTERS MAN! BUT NO! Fanbase said “no familiar characters? Feels like anime cliche? NOPE not happening.”
IT COULD HAVE BEEN SO GOOD! I MEAN I STILL GET CHILLS FROM THE OPENING ANIMATION! I could think of so many more moments that could have been great for this series. But no. What makes it worse is that this came out in a time where s6 was just finishing and covid started to hit. I feel like it wouldve done much better earlier on. Now my only hope is, when rps come back, i gotta wish for s3-4 of pdh. We still have so many unanswered questions and scenes for it as well.

Well I mean this was when shi- poop hit the fan with covid and having everything on hold. Not to mention this was her last role-play to my knowledge, she even made a post about how people disbanded from bluejay sudios and the budget couldn't sustain the series anymore. All in all, this was a great series for what it was ment to be and not how it ended up as, I believe Jess truly wanted it to work but couldn't find a good way to finish it in the way she wanted and didn't just want to stop creation all together because she did it too many times in the past and felt guilty. Btw she's human, not a robot that can create things out of mid air.
