Something I liked was the Greek mythos/religion in a medevil Setting. However I kinda wish it was expanded upon. We establish most of the main characters are Demi gods. But with the existence of magic weavers, I have to wonder what sets them apart from normal humans? If I remember correctly Travis had some power related to love but that’s it. I do love the scene where Zane punts Katelyn out of existence but if zane could so that what’s has stopped over spell weavers from doing even more damage? I’d also like to see what the Demi Gods powers are if by some off chance this series is ever revisited.
If you're planning to review any more roleplays, I'd like to see one of Aphmau's Mermaid tales series(In the playlist Aphmau has made for this series, for some reason, episodes 12, 13, 14 and 15 are not in it). Personally, I thought it was a fun little series, even if it was rather cliché. But, I would love to hear your opinion on it. I don't think plots and storytelling is Aphmau's strong point. If the characters weren't there I probably wouldn't be that interested in her roleplays. Edit: Also, crab Zane is the best Zane.

To put it simply, I don't like her new content. As I've said before, I'm definitely too old to be watching Aphmau now and I had begun to grow out of her content when season 6 of Mystreet was airing. At that point, the only reason I was still subscribed was the roleplays. Over time, I knew Jess was getting more and more kid-friendly, so it was only a matter of time before she fully embraced it and made a Roblox channel as well. I'm glad she is getting more views than she ever did, especially since making the roleplays costed a lot of time and money, only for it to just go down the drain and have more series canceled or suffer from budget cuts. The content she is making now is easier and bringing in more money. So, I'm happy for her
From what I've seen of some of earlier videos of the new content, they make multiple videos in a day. (i.e. using the cake frosting texture for snow for a cake exploding in a video, and that same texture showing up after using a snowbomb with no cake in sight) Plus they could just have a video scheduled to come out, so I don't think Jess is not spending time with her family.
Agreed- I watched it for the first time last month, and I just wasn't into it. Why did the King become evil?? Why did Garroth and Jenny fall in love?? If it were more fleshed out, it definitely could've been better. I know that you haven't posted Aphmau-related content in six months, but I'd love to see your take on Mermaid Tales and My Inner Demons. I really like them both :)
I stopped watching aphmau roleplays because… 1. It focused more on shipping than actual story/ plot 2. Aphmau is ALWAYS the main character and that gets predictable. Why not change it up? Use more Oc rather than using the same characters in everything 3. The allegations about her 4. Aaron ALWAYS being there to either be love interest or show off abs (ew) or both 5. The yo-yo-ing between plots and/ or scenes or with characters 6. Scenes that don’t need to be there, are there 7. There’s some inappropriate things and stereotypes that shouldn’t exist

I honestly think this was really good series and I honestly think that it was pretty easy to understand! The episodes that she took a break on still continued the timeline.
I know this comment is super late but i really liked the first few episodes due to the chance of Garroth getting the girl in this and especially after Aaron got the girl in every series I thought it would have been an different take but nope. Its just an aarmau au for the sake of Aaron and not to mention the out of nowhere ship which I remember when the finale came out most of the comments were confused as to why that ship became cannon so yeah after that series I kept my expectations low and I stopped watching her altogether
I almost stopped watching a royal tale because Aarmau doesn't exist. I was pretty mad, but I kept watching it, I wanted to see if Aaron would change, but no.
Another series I never watched really, because I wasn't interested in her new content until probably My Inner Demons and Heart Point. I just liked Minecraft Diaries and Mystreet, so those were the ones I waited for constantly

It takes a long time to make them you know because of all the bloopers because of all the scenes are about to have to put the good editing and stuff and all the people that have to be in it takes a while so you should be happy that it lasted so long
But jess has made good roleplays before under similar restraints. Just because something is low budget or takes a lot of effort doesn't mean it can't still be critiqued on the quality

I'm not a professional so I'll admit that i got frustrated and gave up a few times. Making Arsene's mask is a lot harder than Jokers. I spent a long time with just the shape and getting it the proper size

Damn. Take a break dude. I’m sure you overworked yourself at least twice while trying for the mask. Trust me, I would know. I’ve tried animating some stuff, and I wouldn’t rest until I was done. It really didn’t help. It killed my motivation to do literally anything.
Or you can drop Arsene and pick up Orpheus...? Then again, you already made the Arsene mask template, so it would end up being time wasted... I just wanna try to make this a little easier. But after learning you were struggling, I started looking for easier cosplays for you to try out. Just tryna help. I felt Orpheus was an easy Persona option. Whaddya think...? Is this ok? I understand if you wanna keep up with the first one you started.

Probably because it became more of an actual Roleplay, considering she used to have a Facecam (which I'm glad she stopped doing it cause it ruined the immersion). Well, idk tbh, I'm just saying random things now.

In my opinion, The Royal Tale was quite enjoyable, and interesting seeing how Aphmau acted around Aaron, especially at the end.
I stopped watching aphmau roleplays because…
