Are we at the point where we're reloading vs rebuilding? I suspect we are, but as you mentioned in previous podcasts, the adjustments our coaches make this offseason will say a lot about the course this program is on. I think all of the guys you mentioned have a good chance to help us next year if they have a good off season.
I think the coaches, Huepel included are satisfied with where they’re at. 10-2 with embarrassing performances against Georgia, someone random on the road, and an early playoff exit
@@mgway4661 Why would any coach be satisfied with going 10-2… obviously Heupel or any coach wants to win a championship and that’s why Danny White brought him here. You’re tripping dude.
Love the video and the in-depth analysis that you bring. Questoon: do you think Heupel needs to start playing more young guys going forward? In my uneducated mind, it appears that we have an issue of playing older, less-talented guys and shelving our younger talent for immediate return. Nathan Leacock & Bennett Warren are some examples but I'm sure there are plenty orhers. Do you see that as an issue, or are we overestimating the abilities of our young guys? Watching an injured Squirrel White play over Leacock & Webb still baffles me and I don't know what to make of it. Thoughts would be appreciated, thanks!!
Reading on X that Boo Carter renegotiated his NIL and wanted offensive play time too. They came to terms and Boo signed it so….love to know your thoughts on where and how he may be used. I’m seeing slot receiver as best landing spot for him on offense.
I agree… but unfortunately Huepel, Halzle, Elerbee, and Pope disagree. They only want to play 5th year seniors that are injury prone, stuck in their ways, all because of loyalty
If yall want to complain..... Complain to AD White. If he don't want to listen, then complain to the board. We need National championships and beat Georgia every season
yall need to start giving millions to NIL then. cause GA and other teams wants to beat us as much as we want to beat them and the big dogs in the playoffs have twice the money aka rosters loaded with deeper talent. Our coaching staff is excellent at making the most with what they have
@@greenwave819I don't think anyone is complaining about the overall success of this program. I think they're seeing the same thing I'm seeing, which is older, less-talented players getting the nod over the younger players who have more potential. We had a 97-rated O-lineman Bennett Warren who was stuck behind an 88 and an Unranked senior (Dayne Davis) this year, even when the right side of our o-line was showing a lot of weakness ..that shouldn't happen. I realize that ratings aren't everything, but they are something. If we don't take some time to develop some of these younger guys and get them playing time, they'll either (a) not be experienced when they do hit the field, or (b) will transfer out and go somewhere that will play them. Look no further than Nathan Peacock & Cam Seldon if you don't believe that. Both guys were routinely touted as Top 5 fastest players on the team and neither of them sniffed a start in 2-3 years with the team. That can't happen.
This vols program is cooked they have maxed out , Florida is getting back ,and loaded with talent, and players wants to go there as we see nobody wants to come here .half our coaches needs to be let go .im not looking for much from this program anymore
"Nobody wants to come here" -10th in recruiting in 2025 even though we are ~15th in football budget "players want to go to Florida" -Finished one spot ahead of us on recruit rankings even though they have more NIL $ and are located a stone's throw from a Florida beach" "Program is cooked" -just made CFP playoffs w/ a RS Freshman QB and got put out by the highest spending team in the country
Yall got blown out by one of the WORST programs in college football. I was rooting for Tennessee. Hope you guys can get things back together but that was bad.
@Hail2ThaVictors wait wait wait...who is the "worst program" that you're referring to? Please tell me you're talking about OSU so that we can all point and laugh.
@@Hail2ThaVictorsaccording to recruiting rankings and NIL Budget, they are the Top 3 teams in football. If you don't believe me, here is something that will destroy any argument as to if they're good: they are right now -2.5pt favorites to beat Oregon in CFP quarterfinals. How in the F could the team favorited to beat the #1 team in football be "one of the worst programs in football"? You absolutely don't know what you're talking about, I question if you even follow football or are simply trolling. It's very rare that an online argument can be won objectively, but your claim was seriously that stupid.

I think we better hang on to Thompson (northwestern OL) that would sure up our O line That'd improve our runniñ and give Nico some more time! 4:19 😮
I wish you were a consultant to UT’s football program
Right Bull is very articulate and thorough

both backs see the hole great.....always thought cam should have been a tightend

we need some dawg recvrs and lineman
I agree. But I think we need to get a proven playmaker at WR. I like Matthew’s but him and Brazzel had several drops they should have caught.

Why are we not spending the money like other elite schools?? I would love to know
Why do you think Jesse Perry could start at tackle this year
Sanders will be playing heup worked on gettin him in the boat he’s not gonna let him sit
Need better strength and conditioning staff.
I AGREE!!
