They're pretty well balanced overall if you're taking the game as the sum of its parts.
If you think 10 luck is broken in Fallout 4, then you haven't seen it in Fallout 2. Criticals are ridiculous in that game, even before Better Criticals gives them a chance to insta-kill, and the Sniper perk can give you a 100% Crit Chance.

Teammate "nope"
I always ditch the first power armor frame in Sanctuary because it feels like mega cheese getting what's always been the best type of kit in the game 5 minutes in.
Eventually when I find different pieces, even if it's just Raider, I put it on the frame and it feels like I earned it.
10:14 Just imagining Nicks reaction here is hilarious , some low level goon is talking smack and a ball flying straight for his back with out his knowledge and then he explodes mid speech XD
You can duplicate ammo if you put the striker mod on the big boy (sold by arturo ) because it shoots 2 balls with the cost of one that you can recover anyway
Can You Beat Fallout 4 With Only Impact Landing?
Simple enough: you're only allowed to do damage by using the Power Armor's Impact Landing ability (landing on the ground from high enough heights does a tiny shockwave of damage). It's a run with a pretty clear route that rides with the Brotherhood to get T-60 and the free Jetpack, and it'll be quite painful until you get to that point. Doable, maybe, but certainly painful. Thanks for this video, Nerbit, appreciate you! Love watching your channel grow.
Hey nerbit I have an idea try to beat Skyrim with only healing spells ex. healing hands and other spells of those varieties. And a companion pretty much becoming a pve healer I wanna see how people are gonna do this
I think mitten already did that
@@ShadesMF I think he did only restoration skills but he used the poison rune spell which is in restoration not just healing spells and stuff like that
@@criticalmiss6764 oh sorry, never played skyrim, thought healing and restoration was the same
@@ShadesMF it's all good I just wanted to clear up misunderstandings :)
@@criticalmiss6764 well, thanks
Btw good luck with that "chosen one", sergeant
I do like the story behind the striker. A bowling buddy goes to war, is paralized, and in order to help him and hopefully cheer him up, his team gets their hand on experimental military technology and modify it to launch bowling balls.
To be fair, those lanes haven’t been oiled in over 200 years
That thumbnail is just *chef's kiss*
Thank you, serious missed opportunity to not make my character look like Roman
Hey man I love your videos! I would be so interested in a FO4 run where you only use the “Intimidation” perk. I loved using that perk on my runs, so I always wondered if you can beat this game using only forced NPC companions.

"Scribe, what the hell was that?"
"Uh, a bowling ball, sir."
"The fuck is that doing up here?"
The Rock-It Launcher (Sorry, the Junk Jet) also fires Bowling Balls doesn't it, because it launches any junk?
yeah but bowling balls are STUPID heavy so
With the junk jet a bowling ball will do the same damage as a stack of money.
@@topcoppelion6626 Yeah, but the point is that you can still launch em with it ^.^
@@topcoppelion6626 Not to mention the Striker has better range, has the kneecap effect and it can be shot instantly, unlike the Junk Jet.
"where can I buy acid?" - comedy gold
I thought last time I picked this gun up, would be funny when mitten squad does a can you beat fallout 4 with only the striker challenge? But you are faster, haha
It a just something I saw brought up a lot, plus I like weird weapons lol
@@Nerbit13098 no worries I enjoy your challenges, aswell as mitten squads. Maybe you can do a GTA Trilogy definitive edition without encountering bugs run next lol

Can you beat Fallout 4 as Louis CK run?!
Rules: Can only murder with an inuendo attached. Must dump 10 points into charisma. Can only choose sarcastic dialogue options.
Hey Nerbit, ive got an idea for you, how about beating New Vegas with only Pew Pew? The Set-up of finding all the star caps I feel would be a great challenge
*insert quote from THE BIG LEBOWSKI here*
How does
"Beating FO4 with only what you scavenge in Sanctuary" sound?
13:43 Enemy with low intelligence, wearing power armor, and shooting bowling balls kills their leader. Synth: "an enemy must be utilizing stealth"
“I then go show Wolfgang and Simone my balls” had me rolling. Nerbits One liners are gold 😂😂
That Kellogg kill was the funniest thing I've seen in any of these videos. And that is saying something, as they're all gold. Well done.
Can you beat Halo Infinite using only the Plasma Pistol? (Only doable after Dec 8th)
There will 100% be a Halo Infinite challenge on this channel, whether it's out before the new year though I am not sure as I'll be busy over the holidays :)
@@Nerbit13098 Use that broken Misriah Armory mod
10:53) Luck can affect ammo, caps and loot drops but mainly only if you get said luck perks for it. So your real life luck went off pretty much lol
since you've finally not killed to omertas in at least one run of new vegas I have to ask you if you can beat fallout new vegas as an omerta
i just watched your fist only run again today thanks for the upload!
No problem, same time every week :)
can you please try to beat Fallout 4 on survival difficulty without any perks?
Not sure what to call the challenge but it would be cool to see you do it! The only way you can damage enemies is with a high jump with power armor slam thing. You could use the Jetpack to allow you to get the air needed. Love your challenges and your video! Keep up the great work mate!
If he is gonna use the jetpack thats gonna deplete those fusion cores real fast
@@ShadesMF yeah. That way it would be more of a challenge and so he can do damage. Mainly cause like a rock isn’t near by to jump off of
Hey Nerbit thank you for the video your only 5k away from 100k you have any plans? Anyways good video as always
Honestly not sure, kinda reached it a lot faster than I thought lol
The only thing that would make this run better, is a mod that lets you bounce and trick shot the bowling balls. Imagine bouncing one from head to head, of hitting a wall and hitting a guy around a corner.
Back to binging every Nerbit video in existence. Keep up the awesome content dude!
Oi Nerbit!
New challenge idea: Can you beat Fallout 4 with only the Mr. Handy Buzzblade?
(You *are* allowed to use commands to get the weapon due to it being tough to get.)
Could be fun, forgot that weapon existed
@@Nerbit13098 In the same vein, how about with the abominable Salvaged Assaultron Head? Although I can imagine pulling one's toenails with rusty pliers sound more appealing.
the buzzblade is an upgrade to the ripper (both damage- and range-wise), so it would hardly be a challenge
@@jehovasabettor9080 Ah, but the real challenge comes in getting it (unless using cheats).
@@glouthebrawlstarsparody7309 Not to mention the bleed damage is weak and it can't be upgrade.
15:07 LOL that synth seriously try and hit you with its missing arm?
Can you beat fallout 4 with only the double barrel shotgun
doomguy
That animation with the glowing one reminds me a lot of the ReDeads in Ocarina of Time.
Power armor in this game is so unappealing to use. I wish they had kept the same repair system from 3 and NV. I hate having to maintain 6 pieces of armor with resources.
My issue is the fact it is meant to be this super strong armour, yet it is also the only armour in the game that breaks
@@Nerbit13098 The armor system in general I don't like because it just feels like an unnecessary change.
That one missed bowling ball on the triggerman. Dude torso twisted so well he's probably the main protagonist of a MechWarrior game, went right under his armpit.
Are you ever gonna do a playthrough where you side with the Institute? Just curious, not saying you have to of course
I have an idea for a video where I will be siding with them, but the reason I don't most of the time is simply because I just don't like the faction all that much
@@Nerbit13098 Yeah that's fair. My personal least favorite is the Minutemen. I could never really get into settlement building, always found it boring
