I think that the internal struggle inside Mia is beautiful displayed. Her parents died, her little brother died, she doesn't know if she can handle it... It's heartbreaking.
I love that after she lost everybody in her family she realized still had reasons to stay her grandparents her love her friends she still had people worth staying for that loved her n that's when the title if I stay made more sense to me it's so beautiful 💖 the only hard part now is recovering mentally n physically in the real word

London Shay me it was so sad how he brung her back to life. Her mom, and dad died. Then her brother. But when Adam so vs it's like everything comes to her and she's back to life. This is my fav movie

I just wish that they would've included the part where Adam even said that he would break up with Mia if it was too much for them to be together, he also later states that he knows that he prefeed and prefers losing Mia by breaking up with her rather then her dying. I think that what he did just shows how much he loves her that he was willing to even to as far as break up with her if it meant that she would just live!
This song literally brought Mia back to life along with all the good memories of her and Adam and her family this part always makes me cry

the part where he sings captured me alot! there a just something special about the he sings in here and the audio. I feel like there's more emotions in the way he sings in this video than the audio. I don't if it's just only mee, but yeah. I really do LOVE LOVE this movie!! My all time FAVORTIE!! If only there was a second on coming out!!!

Mohamed Diaby there is a book sequel in Adams perspective called Where she went. They broke up and shooting star gets a big break, Mia gets famous, graduates from college.

I've seen this movie many times and have cried during every one. It's the only movie I've seen where the adaptation is just as amazing as the book tbh. The actors and scenes do the book justice

I had got severe bronchitis and was pronounced basically dead because the doctors couldn't save me, but instead I entered a black wall and then was in a different form of reality, one that doesn't feel ordinary like this world. I was under the sun then I looked up and I flew up into it then I saw a whole civilization in there and everything was so clear and vivid it was even like I had 360 vision, and over there your emotions aren't inside you they're your atmosphere, it's like you have nothing to hide and this body you have in this world is just a shell

I absolutely loved the book it was heartbreaking and bittersweet but also amazing and wonderfully written the movie was good too I went to the movie theatre to see it everyone was crying when this scene came on I was crying when the grandfather went to talk to her Idk if I would be able to make the choice I love my family Idk what I would do without them if I'd lost then i wouldn't be able to bare it but on the other hand I would love for them so it's a tough choice
I'm still mad there isn't a second movie
I was kinda glad that Mia got into an accident and lost her family because that placed everything in perspective for her. It made her priorities straight. Sure, her love for Adam was commendable, but she was much too young to give up her studies and go with him. It made her realize that she had to make something of herself first and not rush into anything - especially into a very serious relationship. I wouldn't want her to be with Adam so early and later on regret it because she didn't have time to pursue what she really wanted - that is her love for classical music.
Adam, as shown throughout the movie, was more free and aggressive in chasing his dreams, so I think Mia should have the same option.
Wow, that escalated quickly, LOL. Did you not understand what I just said? I never said I'm glad she lost her family, I'm only glad that despite the tragedy, something good came out of it. God allows things to happen to us for a purpose; even tragedies. When we experience joy and success, we are so quick to praise God, but when we praise him even in the midst of pain and failures, then isn't that more wonderful?

Her family was there for her, her friend even… more so than Adam. Yeah, he shared the same passion as Mia: music. But she knew she needed to try to go for her dream, passion, love: music! Relationships may come and go. But music will stay with her, that was her family literally and figuratively.
