Moll is fantastic in this scene. The resonance and technique is flawless and his voice is magnificent. I mean, it's not even fair to compare to others. Especially at that note "that only exists when sung by Moll" as someone said below :D
@@DanielJoseMP You can probably sing a solid D2 as a profundo, but you cannot project a D2 over a full orchestra in an operatic setting -- That takes an exceptionally powerful instrument with decades of classical training. I'm an operatic bass with a solid D2, and there's no shot I can produce it at the level Kurt Moll does.
The best ever Commendatore scene ...Ramey also brilliant and Leporello. RIP Kurt, you were just outstanding in this scene...Tears...

The best ever. RIP Kurt Moll...
Chilling performance that will stand the test of time. Both Moll and Ramey are two of the best at their craft. Thank you for the upload!!
3 great basses in one scene !
I think that this is one of the greatest scenes in Opera, especially with Kurt Moll playing
the Commendatore.
obviously not.
what an ego! this opera is a masterpiece and has one of the most fantastic finales in opera.
opera fans can be assholes
I think the note at 5:36 only exists when sung by Kurt Moll.
Matihuelas that's true
he is the only one that sang that note. all the other commendatores make this note one octave high
Tadeo Geogro, Mati Salminen.
I can do it, I’m a basso profondo also
