Well I was looking for the best reliable recommendation for this product. After extensive research in my own this is helpful. My only "thing" is that BB uses no models age appropriate just the typical fresh faced young girls, a bit of a turn off when the product is targeted to older women but that's why I LOVE Nikol because though still young herself she is all inclusive through the 90 yo ladies. I wonder if she really knows how that sets her so apart makes her so special.
I turn 60 in 3 weeks, post menopause and still have combo skin! It’s a struggle, but changing to cream blush and sheen eyeshadow has made me feel beautiful! Love everything you do!
I've watched so many "influencers" who hate this foundation. And you are 1000% right when you say it's because they're too young for it. I just hope it doesn't cause Jones Road to pull it. I think it's a wonderful product.
Jones Road has been sold out of several shades of this foundation from time to time. I had to jump on porcelain when it was available. They're not discontinuing it. For the people it's made for, used int the proper way, it's fantastic. I think it's perfect for light natural coverage that adds a natural freshness to my skin.
I also worked for Bobby Brown in Indianapolis Indiana in the early 2000s. I have the Jones Road WTF foundation. I am 64 so I wanted to try it. The smell of it took me right back to my day's working as a makeup artist for her. I like the smell. It was too moisturizing for me to wear in the summer but I plan on using it in the winter time. Thank you for demonstrating how to use this properly.
I live in Indianapolis as well!! I adore the wtf foundation. It's the best foundation I've ever used. It's great for my dry skin a little goes a long way.
I absolutely love your channel. I'll have to give this foundation a try. I am so dry especially in winter. It makes no sense that cosmetic companies neglect the over 50s especially since the trend for most people is that net worth increases as they get older. I know for me personally, I'm more willing to spend more on cosmetics now than when I was younger. They're missing out on a demographic.
Can I get an "Right On" from the cool chicks out there?! It's not just makeup, it's skincare too. I see girls/women using products that are supposed to address aging skin. Then when they get acne/breakouts etc., they complain about it on social media (UA-cam especially). These companies are forgetting that our generation (50s and up) are the ones that made them rich and to a degree famous. Wouldn't it be wonderful if there was a special shop that just sold our makeup and skincare? I hate to be divisive, but wouldn't it be amazing??
So glad you made this video. The influencer beauty space is not receptive to women of a certain age. Just look at the boondoggle trips companies send these youngsters on ignoring our demographic. We need to spend on those companies that embrace us!
Ah, “youth is wasted on the young”. These girls will find out … their time will come 🥰 One just can’t understand the many changes/challenges of ageing until it’s first-hand experience. (I am 54)
Your a kid, I feel like I'm forty in my mind, but really 73. And my body is starting to feel older now after 65. Not fun, would love to be 50ish again!. I would try this foundation. I had very oily skin as a teen, I never had lines on my forehead till last year. So, I guess I could use this as a treatment.
I’m 58 (where did the years go??) and that is exactly what I think when I see all the girls in their twenties and thirties- they’ve no idea...but they will. And youth is definitely wasted on the young it should honestly be the other way around.
60 yo and agree that post menopausal skin is so different than younger skin. Thank you for speaking to the baby boomers! There a lot of us and most of the influencers are young and these type of products do not work on their skin. Same holds true for the Westman Atelier Complexion drops. They put it on and it’s a greasy mess and I put it on and there’s a slight glow! Love watching you, Nikol!
I have Jones Products. I have combo skin and although not a fan of her name for foundation, the product is very nice for a 55 yo! Thanks for your reviews - as always you’re spot on!
I did come across the negative reviews by accident. I watched a reel of "most hated foundation" this was done by someone a bit older and she applied this correctly not at all heavy handed. She first showed 2 influencers saying how terrible it was then she did her own review and said it was great!!
YES! You nailed it. I'm 63 and when I watch a 45 year old or younger especially, talk about their fine lines and wrinkles, I stop the video lol. I went back in my Google photos 12 years ago and thought OH MY GOODNESS, wow, my skin looked flawless so what was I complaining about haha. Our mature ages ARE being fazed out so when I watch a more mature skin video, ie. 60 and above, I watch! AND for the record, I have dry skin but I cannot use a plethora of moisturizers and serums on my skin. I don't like the feeling so I pick and choose and that's OK! We don't have to do everything that is thrown at us on UA-cam but it is good to get educated and just watch to learn, then choose what is best for us as individuals.
Let me first say Thank you, for being so honest in this video. I knew immediately that this product was not for me, because I have combination skin (not dry). Having said that, I still watched the entire video with interest.
I am so glad you made this video and spoke for us ladies 😅 with dry skin … it is not fair to anyone that is starting a makeup line to be so nasty and slam a foundation when you have not even researched the ingredients and follow the directions. Good for you to stand up and speak your mind!
I just received my wtf last week and I love it. My skin is dry, I’m 70+ and am dealing with some healing, flaky psoriasis patches. While there’s a bit of tackiness initially, it settles down into a freshly moisturized feel. I love that the moisture remains all day long concealing any pink patches and rehydrating the flakiness. It’s a great product for his mature, dry skinned lady.
So loved this video. So many things to love. You righted a wrong. You introduced us older women to a new product. You reminded us of the importance of good skincare. And you demonstrated how to use the products while entertaining us with positivity. Great way to start my Saturday morning! Thank you.
Thank you for reviewing this product! I live in Orlando and am almost 53 and my skin has become such a challenge! Very slick in the t-zone and dry cheeks. I work from home so now I rarely wear makeup since it seems when I do nothing looks right. I have also let my natural greys fly free - which I do love but feel that my color palette needs to change. Maybe in Florida’s cold months (haha) I could use this WTF! Been tempted to try the miracle balm just not sure which color since I have redness. I starting watching your videos back in the beginning of 2020 when I decided it was time to stop coloring my hair and see how it looked. Thank you for all you info for us 50+’ers
No tik tok is bs. Who believes social media non experienced people doing reviews...they don't no how to apply it or use it. Jones Road is for mature woman or if you have dry skin. I love it & have normal skin.
Thanks for the honest review. I have the Miracle Balm in Dusty Rose and love it on my lips and cheeks and plan to get the WTF. I'm 54 with combo/dry skin. I love her products and look forward to trying the foundation.
Once again a video I loved because we're getting an honest, expert assessment which we can really work with. An amateur on Tiktok making application mistakes is definitely not where people should be taking sound information from.
Thank you for warning those of us 60+ still with oily skin. Mom said that was a good thing because people thought she was 60 at 80. But, finding suitable foundation to give that finished look but won’t slide off or make me look slimy in a couple of hours is a pain!
Thanks for making this video. Even though I saw the bad reviews I took a chance on these products and like them very much. They have a place in my beauty routine. I'm in my late 60's and although I have combination skin, they work for me. I love the healthy, pore blurring effect I get when I use the Aux Naturel balm alone. Not everybody likes everything. Glad I gave them a try. Thanks again!
I'm 35 and have extremely dry skin. I also have more wrinkles than I should because of tanning in my early twenties. I LOVE the WTF foundation! It's perfection for my skin. Love your videos btw.
I used the Jones Road foundation for the first time tonight… It was fantastic! It’s so nice to have a fire foundation that doesn’t end up in the lines in my face as well as pores. There was no caking… Just fresh natural skin. My skin feels younger, smooth, Dewey, and slightly luminous. After reading some of the reviews, I applied the smallest amount possible. I did not put moisturizer on my face, but I did use a serum. I will continue experimenting, but so far I am in love with this foundation.
I am in my 30s and have very dry skin. I absolutely love the Jones Road foundation. It's great for me because I do not like heavy foundation. I love tinted moisturizers. It's a great foundation and a little goes a long way. It feels great on the skin and the miracle balms are wonderful as well. It's become one of my favorite brands ❣️
My daughter are so Thankful for You, my youngest is starting to explore make-up and my oldest glamorizes, when I would do my make-up all most daily. I had Stopped because instead of highlighting my features, it aged me. I naturally did look about 7ish years younger with out it. When, I went to the make-up store and failed to make any sense of all the New stuff. With your guidance, I have starting understanding, learning about the New tools and the Tricks that I can use. I have spotting because of medication. Thank you ❣️
That shade of WTF looks amazing on your skin! I just ordered WTF in Porcelain and love the way it looks on this 77-year-old skin. The bonus happened the next morning after I had washed it off the night before. My skin felt baby-soft and looked great! This is definitely for Mature skin. Just go easy on the application, it feels sticky at first but as it sinks in it loses that sticky feel.
Would love to see more of her products used. So many girls make their faces look cakey and heavily powdered. I like the youthful dewy look instead. The foundation coverage was beautiful and the bronzer is kinda supposed to be used all over, wherever the sun would hit. I've watched a ton of her videos and the products look amazing on younger girls when she puts it on correctly. I don't know about anyone else, but I don't want to look like a drag queen and no one I know does either.
I have been a Bobbi Brown lover and user. I started using her products 25 years ago. Now that my skin has dried out and has texture etc. I needed new products and learn how to apply makeup differently (hooded eyes, etc.). I love this WTF - foundation and check balm. I have bought it ALL! Nothing worked for me until this!
I ordered this because I think it will be perfect for me. I am 72 and with dry skin. It should be here in a couple of days. I can't wait to use it. I was hoping you would review it. Thank You Nikol. ❤
Thanks for saying that it's not for oily skin. It is just gorgeous on you, but I have very oily skin at age 72! I do look young for my age, but it's really annoying sometimes! 💗
I have mature and dry skin, at first it felt strange, but as I’ve committed to it, my skin has improved in moisture and texture and it’s my absolute favorite for light natural coverage.
I need some foundation for my skin that's 70 years old there's a lot of them out there for young skin but a 70-year-olds need something that's going to make us look softer natural and glow a little. Thanks Nicol
I'm 66 and have been using Givenchy foundation for years. Now that my skin has become dry, before primer l add just a drop of rosehip oil to the foundation and blend before applying. Afterwards l use a small amount of Benefit Highbeam, and finally spritz lightly afterwards with ELF Glow Dewy Mist. Voila beautiful on mature skin.
So glad to see this review. If you have any moisture in your skin - like you can skip a moisturizer day and not start peeling! - this is not the product for you. Used lightly on dry, mature skin, it's amazing. I've gone back to my old foundation a few times, and felt so "made up", and I didn't feel like it brightened my skin as much as WTF. With this stuff and a couple of the Miracle Balms, my skin is juicy and bright and alive!
Just started using WTF. I’m in my 60s and needed something to add dewiness to my skin. I love this stuff. It’s a little weird at first bc it’s not like any other foundation or tinted moisturizer and it feels a bit sticky for the first hour. However, it lasts all day and I’m really impressed with it. Going into the cold winter months, I think it will be great. Thanks for your review and directions for application!
So I am 37 and I have dry skin and live in the desert and I love wtf! But I don’t wear it as “foundation”, I wear it on my “no makeup days” when I want to look nice but effortless. I think this product can work for younger skin if used correctly 😊
Very much appreciate your review. You definitely got the memo on this product lol. Clearly many beauty "influencers" did not and/or they can't accept this product is simply not for their demographic/skin type etc. As others have commented I'd hate to see it discontinued just because some 25 yr olds on TikTok didn't vibe with it.
I love it. The smell goes away in one minute. It leaves my skin looking so good and natural. And it doesn't make me look like I am wearing a mask. And it diminishes my crow's feet. Perfect for older skin, which may be dry.
I stopped watching all the young girls that think they are makeup artist . I said THINK their makeup artist. I love watching ypu I have learned so much!!! .
I am so glad you did this vid. I have read such great reviews on Jones Road. And also for addressing the influencer girl. Bc her vid really bothered me. I also believe I read Miracle Balm is meant to be used as a base color, under WTF, or alone just as a tinted skin treatment. Or layered! Lol! So I'm not surprised you would not get much color payoff over WTF. Thank you again, Nikol. I am always grateful for your advocacy of us other age groups. You are amazing. Beauty on, betch 😘😘😘
I love the Jones Road WTF as I do not like the full coverage of a traditional foundation. I only use the WTF on my cheeks which evens out my color and I feel great. I do a light pounce of whatever powder I have to lessen the tack. I use Merit Beverly Hills cheek color and it is so dewy and beautiful. A little Merit glow (no glitter) on the upper cheek for a fresh finish. I usually apply WTF on clean skin to prevent migration. If you see migration try using it without moisturizer. I use my moisturizer at night and rinse my face with water in the morning before applying WTF. Hope this helps some new WTF users. I did not like the WTF around my mouth area, so I don't put it there (just powder). It will also neutralize redness around the eye and eyebrow area (set with minimal powder). Have fun and see what works for you. I am excited to use it in the morning because it is me only better, just like Bobbi says!
I'm so glad you reviewed this!! I've seen so many mixed comments and they are all under 40. I can't afford it but if I could at least I know it's not for me. I'm post menopause with combination skin . I might could in the winter because I really use lubricating products in the winter. Thank you Nikol!! ❤️
I am one that will never go near tik tok, instagram, Facebook, or Twitter because I think that anyone and everyone is vying for time, space and notoriety on those platforms and may not be putting in the heavy lifting or have the years of living that relates to my world. Also, I am not instantaneously “influenced”. I still believe that people creating content should be called just that - Content Creators. “Influencer” to me sounds like the platforms and creators feel like I am easily swayed or duped. I am not. Thank you, Nikol, for your experience, neutrality, your deft message conveyance, and your age inclusivity in your reviews.
Okay Nikol thanks for your first look, but I would love to see you do this again using the miracle balm the way Bobbi says it should be used… Which is to actually break through down into it and she literally scoops it out from underneath… I don’t think you got the color the way that you just took it from the surface. I do hope that you update this and tell us what that technique accomplishes with the balm. Thanks! Until your next video… and hoping for an update until then! 😘
I 'scoop' up my Miracle Balm using the back of my thumbnail. Then I work it a little between my fingers. You do have to get a 'chunk' of it rather than a schmear.
Hello! I enjoyed this video. I actually have combination skin and this product line works very well for me. I never liked to wear heavy makeup. I love the natural makeup no makeup look Bobbi’s line offers. Also, I had never heard of Bobbi Brown until now. I adore this makeup line. I am over 50 too.
It’s just beautiful on you, evens out your skin and makes it so luminous. I just started experimenting with Jones Road and I love the WTF, Miracle Balm and Face Pencils. WTF is light coverage but it does reduce redness, that is my biggest issue. And I get constant compliments since I have started using these products. There is a lasting benefit and I wake up every day looking better. I’m going to be packing up a lot of my other products and will see if I ever go back to them. This may be a sea change for me.
I too have combination skin. This does look beautiful. Not a ticktock person, I check your videos out for my information! 🥰. Thanks again for giving us the correct info! 💕
I’m 39 and my skin has just started getting dry. I love my new wtf foundation! I don’t think it just has to be for 50 and up, but for anyone with somewhat dry skin.
Thanks Nikol...I just started with a few of the Jones Road products. I'm always on the hunt for the right feeling foundation...I need it to feel moisturizing. I'm a clinical aesthetician, and was a makeup artist in my past life.I'm 58, dry skin, and I really have pared down my makeup routine. I love WTF, however, I originally ordered the light which wasn't quite right, so I went to the beige which is perfect. The only thing I wish it had was an spf. I live in SC, so I never leave without spf on. I find the EltaMd UV Sheer is thin enough to wear under this foundation. . I apply it with my fingers, and warm on my fingers first. Blends onto my skin easiest this way. There definitely is a learning, because it's not traditional foundation. I also use the miracle balm ...I bought the dusty rose and the flushed...both are lovely...but the flushed really pops...I think it would be just what you are looking for. And the miracle balm on the lips feels incredible.
I’m 72 and tried this balm. As light as an application as I could use, it was a sticky mess. Maybe the humidity it Florida is too high. I don’t know but my hair even sticks to my face.
I’m always floored when I see these young girls Pile on the foundation, concealer and contour… it’s so thick! I never understood that… as a mature woman, a light layer of everything comes out flawless… good review ty
Thank you for this video! I'm 53 and just purchased the WTF Foundation. I was considering the balm, but went with foundation first. I have normal skin, maybe a bit on the dry side. It's definitely a light coverage which I like because I have good complexion. A friend used the balm and said it was sticky and remained that way throughout the day.
I'm 78. I don't have many wrinkles but I do have drape. I'm lazy and I hope to reach a time when I don't have to look alluring so don't have to bother with makeup. (But I always wear blush and lip gloss. Not for allure but so no one thinks I'm dead and buries me!) I've seen the commercials for Jones Rd. and love the idea of translucent blush that evens tone but doesn't look made up.
I think a lot of the controversy was due to Bobby Brown being a full coverage make up in the past and this is totally opposite? As if she went from one extreme to the other? All I care about is I’m 63 and will this work for me?! I have wrinkles dry skin etc. Thanks so much for your review of this
I have found that using the Miracle Balm separate of the WTF works best for me. I love it over a light layer of CC cream! I have almost all the colors in the mini balms and my favorites are dusty rose and bronze (I have rosacea) for color and au naturel for every day. It took me a while to get use to WTF but I had to learn how to apply it, and now I absolutely love it, especially in the winter!
I have Bobby Brown Stick foundation. It is really good and it goes on smooth so I don't need much. It also covers great! I will have to go find the pink you didn't try and see if I like it. The older I get, the more I gravitate towards simple. I will always love cosmetics. Thank You Nikol😊
Hi Nicol, I am 77 and have this foundation and a lot of other products from Jones Road. I love it but there was a slight learning curve. I first used it with a moisturizer and primer and it was too much. Now I just apply it on bare skin the way you showed and it does work. I use this when I want to get out of the house quickly. I would never use the Miracle Balm with WTF....too much balminess. You can powder lightly over it to reduce any tackiness. Thanks for showing this application and hitting the key points of who should be using it.
You look amazing in this video. That foundation really looks great on you. I saw this somewhere but read the negative reviews and thought I won't try it then, but maybe I will now. Thanks.
Thank you for demonstrating these products. I've been curious about Jones Road, but hesitant to spend the $$ to purchase. You've cleared up my questions.
Thank you for this excellent video. You answered a lot of my questions about this makeup. I’m 78 y/o and have dry, aging skin, so I’m looking forward to trying Jones Beauty. At last-something for us.
I love this but what about some sun protection? I am struggling to find a ‘foundation’ with SPF that doesn’t give me the tinted zinc look. 63 years old. Flight attendant who needs extra moisture and protection from the environment I work in.
Thank you for doing this. I saw WTF foundation on here and thought, I don't know! I'm 70 oh geez, so many wrinkles and very dry skin, I hate the mirror. I walk and have never driven so yes, after walking thousands of miles all my life.... I'm wrinkled now! I still have to think about purchasing Jones Road. But, do you have something in your line! Thank you dear heart, you are beautiful inside and out. 🙏❤️
I totally adore that you call us “Ladies”. I don’t know why that feels so friendly and helpful.
"hey GUYS...." said every under 30 women with a channel. Urgh.
really? i find it sort of annoying.

Yes. 57 years old and still combo skin so I will pass on this foundation for now.
Yes, you have been a tremendous help. I am in my 60's and have had to change everything the last couple of years.
69-3/4 and still combination skin!
@Diana Saia i love shimmer eyeshadow too. Not glitter! Lol
I'm 65, and still have combo skin. Normal to oily. And with a mask? ACNE!!
I've watched so many "influencers" who hate this foundation. And you are 1000% right when you say it's because they're too young for it. I just hope it doesn't cause Jones Road to pull it. I think it's a wonderful product.
They won’t pull it for the wrong skin types using it. It has its place in the beauty space for the right skin.

They are totally missing the mark!
😮 I could have written this. It’s crazy that both the cosmetic industry and clothing ignore older women. We have money!

I would look for semi matte formulas for oily skin not matte but semi matte
If u want bronzer try tawny, bronze and or sunkissed! All my faves! Love JR!!
I also saw Shelbey Wilson use the tawny miracle balm as a blusher even though she is fair .. I bought it and I love it !
I glad this product worked for you.
I'm 35 and have extremely dry skin. I also have more wrinkles than I should because of tanning in my early twenties. I LOVE the WTF foundation! It's perfection for my skin. Love your videos btw.
Wow! You look wonderful with that foundation. Radiant! I’m going to try this for my winter foundation as I’m dryer than usual in the winter.
I so enjoy listening and watching you … thank you for putting yourself out there - you are wonderful!
I am 74 years.old and I use Bareminerals Completion. Rescue, it is a tinted moisturizer with 30 spf. I have always protected my skin from the sun.
You are so welcome!
That gave a really lovely finish on you. Evened out but not at all mask like. Thanks for the level headed, non dramatic review.
Voila beautiful on mature skin.
thank you. the blush stick in english rose is beautiful over the foundation.
Oh yeah, throw us some moisture 🌨️💧!!
Thank you for this video.
Brigitte 🌷🌂
So I am 37 and I have dry skin and live in the desert and I love wtf! But I don’t wear it as “foundation”, I wear it on my “no makeup days” when I want to look nice but effortless. I think this product can work for younger skin if used correctly 😊
Your best video yet IMO. Thank you for the facts and for always educating.
You look so 'fresh' . Looks great on you, thanks for your honest reliable opinion.
I love watching ypu
I have learned so much!!!
I feel that miracle balm should be used alone you can’t layer anything with WTF.
Your natural lip tone is the color that I’m always on the hunt for in a lipstick! It’s so pretty.❤
Great review and advice, as always! When will the Fierce Aging series begin again? Thanks!❤️🌹
Thank you for reviewing both of these products. I've had my eye on them.
I’m 39 and my skin has just started getting dry. I love my new wtf foundation! I don’t think it just has to be for 50 and up, but for anyone with somewhat dry skin.
Nikol your the Goddess of makeup. You're beautiful. Don't ever change. We love you. Many hugs.
Gee, you are SO educational. So excited I found you again!
I have very oily skin and am 62 years young, so probably not for me, but thanks for sharing. Looks great on you!
This review of WTF shows why I only trust your makeup reviews, and I watch every single one of them! ❤
Thanks for the balanced and transparent review
Thank you for this “cut through the nonsense” review! Helpful information!
Love this!! It’s like a tinted moisturizer
I have not gone wrong taking your advice...will def try this!
Thanks for this review, you’ve really contextualized this product. All makes sense now!
I’m 72 and tried this balm. As light as an application as I could use, it was a sticky mess. Maybe the humidity it Florida is too high. I don’t know but my hair even sticks to my face.
Can’t easily get this in uk. Sent from US so taxes will be horrendous. Hopefully change in future
Thanks Nikol for the demo. I have been looking at Jones Road for months....I have very dry skin. I am going for it because of your demo. thanks again!
I have been seriously curious....and I really trust your words.
Very pretty look! So glad you take the time to show us if it’s good or not and if it’s being put on wrong. Thank you for sharing!
I’m always floored when I see these young girls
Pile on the foundation, concealer and contour… it’s so thick! I never understood that… as a mature woman, a light layer of everything comes out flawless… good review ty
Kardashian effect.
Thank you for reviewing the WTF. I've been wondering about it for a long time. I love Bobbi's Eyeshadow Sticks, so smooth and flattering.
You are naturally beautiful & the product just illuminated your beauty
Hallo, thank you for a realistic honest review. I agree you have to know your skin type and proper skincare.
Thank you for your review, it’s real and it’s honest and I appreciate it.
Love this!
I also love Chanel creamy foundation!
Yes for sure a learning curve
Thanks for doing this video. I just purchased the WTF and a couple of the balms. I'm 61 and was thinking the same thing....perfect for us.
You look amazing in this video. That foundation really looks great on you. I saw this somewhere but read the negative reviews and thought I won't try it then, but maybe I will now. Thanks.
It made your skin so dewy and glowy......beautiful!! Especially for everyday
Thank you for demonstrating these products. I've been curious about Jones Road, but hesitant to spend the $$ to purchase. You've cleared up my questions.
Hi Nikol! This is EXACTLY THE NATURAL LOOK I WANT! What do you recommend for us ladies with combination skin? Thank you in advance!
I feel it might be too much for combo skin
Thank you for this excellent video. You answered a lot of my questions about this makeup. I’m 78 y/o and have dry, aging skin, so I’m looking forward to trying Jones Beauty. At last-something for us.
Thank you Nikol for this video.
Glad you liked it!
I love this but what about some sun protection? I am struggling to find a ‘foundation’ with SPF that doesn’t give me the tinted zinc look. 63 years old. Flight attendant who needs extra moisture and protection from the environment I work in.
Love, love, love your hair!!
