Baking soda vinegar and Dawn dish soap.
First of all the point of a dishwasher is to wash the dishes. There's absolutely no need to pre-wash.
Secondly I have been a single parent for 22 years and sometimes you give up the idea of washing a separate load of whites and a separate load of colors. If the washer is full it gets washed. Like you said wash on cold it's all good.
Third bless your power washing but that seems like a lot of wasted water... Got to save the environment there in California.
I use mayo after he blow dry, it conditions the microwave like you would not believe 😆😆

This one is really my favorite of Heidi imposing Taylor. She brought up so many phrases than men all over the world probably use. At least in Germany they use them for sure. 😁 This is what makes this family so great. We can all identify with what we see. Thank you so much.

@@mariahb5194 that is horrible that that happened to him. I guess it might not apply here, but my theory is we as a culture are so bent on rewarding little boys (and men!) For doing the simplest house work. Like wow kiddo good job cleaning your room, have a soda. Or 'deals' like I'll give you 2 dollars of you wash the car. So boys learn to expect something back from chores even in adult life. Completely unbased guesswork (and generalization) but there might be something there.

Lol. My husband willingly does half the chores but he still wants to make sure I KNOW he’s done them. He is always saying, “see what did? I get points for that right?” Yeah Babe, same number of pints I get for the work I do. Zero.
You have to understand that if a guy was single, absolutely nothing would get done. It’s a pretty big deal to make the effort and be recognized for it, even if it’s a small comment.
Or if he cooks he really wants to hear that its good. I just feel like saying if im eating it, its fine. Trust me.

Okay, first off - if I ever tried to pull excuses, cop-outs, or stupidity like that it would be my wife who would be using the hedge-trimmer and it wouldn’t be the hedge that she’d be trimming. lol
Second. From my personal experience I don’t leave WHOLE chunks of food on a plate before putting them in the dishwasher cause that’s taking it a step too far - but that HAS always bothered me. What’s the point of spending $500-$1,500 on an appliance just to waste time cleaning the dishes *down to a shine* just so they can be loaded into a DISH WASHER!!!
You end up wasting just as much water too.
My wife and I have a running joke in the house. It’s not a dishwasher, it’s a sanitizer. Otherwise we wouldn’t have to FULLY wash the dishes before loading them.
