I really wanted to try out the new backseat HUD repeater and go-pro style camera settings. no idea why my shadows are buggin out though. might be a ReShade issue
It reminds me of the Mavrick sight for the Viggen, but much bigger! I absolutely love it, but I don't think there is a way to set mils for the sight in the backseat?
I have not had much of a chance to play with the gunpod, but that's a great question, I can't think of a way to disable it, but I'll play around more with them soon 😀
Backseat is listed as an "instructor". I'm assuming it's mostly just for training, though you can control the radar from the backseat, so you could technically use it as a French-flavored RIO.
The F1BE is a trainer, so it is pretty much just a CE with an extra seat. Everything can be done from both the front and the rear seat apart from some electrical control used for the startup/shutdown which are only available in the front seat.
Electro-optical thingy. The backseater has a kind of a "monitor" which duplicates the real HUD of the front seater. At least I think this sould be the case.
The Mirage F1 is a high shoulder swept wing design. You might be getting it confused with the Mirage III or the Mirage 2k, both of those are delta wing. :)

Systems are well modeled, good accurate flight dynamics, faithful recreation of an iconic aircraft. This module doesn't align with your priorities as a gamer boi and thats ok

I would use the French cockpit just so I don’t have to see “Retard, eject” every time I look below the HUD or whatever the backseat HUD is called 😅

Those shadows buggin are from the new SSS setting, just turn it off and they should go away.

That "lizard" scheme is quite old. Already in 1994, most of the F-1s of the Spanish 14th Wing were painted NATO grey. I know because I saw it.

It's just how DCS records unfortunately, not reflected in game.

To go into the backseat, I press the "2" key, and turn on the HUD repeater switch under the display

Guy in back sees a monitor, which is plugged in via USB to the pilots' visual cortex...he sees whatever the pilot sees.
