My favourite joke of his was "For the past two years I've been searching for my wife's killer... But no-one will do it."
😂😂😂
"he's also not vulgar"
me: knowing every joke he's told
🤣😂😅
Jeselnik is great when it comes to dark humor. I saw him live at Foxwoods years ago. He was hilarious.
Not even close to the best of Anthony Jeselnik. Not even close.
You're absolutely correct. He should've listened to jeselnik's joke about transgender people
My favorite of his is the bit about Grandma giving him the Bible instead of tuition money
"Last year my mom should have been celebrating her 60th birthday, but because of drugs, alcohol and other terrible decisions... we all forgot"
Agreed!
"My mom should have been on one of the planes used during 9/11.............I think"
Dark humor is the best kind, and when it comes from Jeselnik you can’t ask for better
Jeselnik’s humor isn’t dark. It’s Vanta black.
@@JupiterJones0424most conservatives are over 25. I don't think anyone here gets what vanta black is
Jeselnik and Jimmy Carr .
You definitely can
Jeselnik is hilarious and his style is unique as long as you’re not bothered by a little darkness
Jeselnik is hilarious! Super dark material and great twists in his material.
“I remember when my grandpa passed, at the time I thought it was going to be the worst…literally the ABSOLUTE WORST thing that has ever happened!
But…boy was I wrong!
……it wasn’t that bad. I was fine”.
Anthony Jeselnik has some much better and much darker stuff. One of my favorites
His baby dropping bit is an all timer
@@Mopark25what about “the reason his girlfriend is not religious anymore.” Just epic😂
You should check out his roast jokes. Hes brutal
I was going to suggest that but you be me to it.
Brutal as a wet napkin...
His roast for Charlie Sheen was almost murder.
@@pedropaulovillasboas7229Charlie, you're a monster....your entire life is like the first 10 minutes of law and order SVU.
Steven Wright, Mitch Hedberg, and Anthony. Self-effacing, intelligent, unique, and hilarious. Their work is an intelligence test, for sure.
Fire in the Maternity Ward is one of the best specials. I love dark humor and he's the best at it. His delivery is just fantastic, right up there with Chapelle and Segura. "I never once saw my dad hit my mom.......he was fast".
The best of Jeselnik is stuck to the filter in his head. Absolutely ruthless comedian you gotta love it
How can anyone make a "Best of Anthony Jeselnik" video without the Eric Clapton son joke?
That joke combined with the crowd work with that cackling lunatic is his funniest stuff.
He was probably to busy dropping babies😂❤😂
He is one of the few modern stand up artists that I find funny. His dead pan delivery is reminiscent of older comedians, and super dark.
The Kid in the Refrigerator is my favorite of him. Also Drop a Baby, and Grandma's Bible
My absolute favorite. I never miss a show
His performances on the comedy Central roasts are pure gold.
Anthony’s hilarious! You should check his full specials for his best jokes!
I saw Anthony live and dude freakin killed it. Loved his openers as well. All had a similar dark vibe.
Jeselnick and Norm were on Last Comic Standing, as host and judge.
I'm a fan of both. Mark Normand is another good comedian; clever and quick.
comedy!
My grandmother died jumping in front of a bus. The cops ruled it a sue is side...but everyone in the family knows she was....just trying to stop civil rights.
No, ain’t nostalgic, Anthony is great, but he ain’t no Norm. Norm was 100 pure God given natural talent. Norm probably didn’t know how funny he really was.
Brian Regan is the King of clean comedy.
Used to think that till I found Nate Bargetze
@@stephenkane741 he's good
Jim Gaffigan is pretty clean.
Gotta agree with stephenkane741. Nate is the best now. Gonna go see him on Sunday in Albuquerque. (Cinco de Mayo)
Michael's comparison to Norm is like my comparison to any band against Tool. It's just not fair to do such things. Anthony's a gem. Embrace the dark.
Tool is the first “metal” band kids listen to once they grow up stop listening to blink 182 and deftones.
Then they become irrational tool fanbois.
I always remember patrice oneal’s description of jesselnick as a medieval waiter. The description is apt.
His dark humor with his stoic delivery kills me every time. I have watched Thoughts and Prayers at least 10 times.
Dude Jeselnik is the man. Im glad DW folks getting their eyes on him
Watched him live twice. Jeselnik is amazing.
Jeselnik says out loud what our deepest darkest self quietly thinks
You should see his bit about dropping babies, it's hilarious.
Michael Knowles and Brett Cooper had the shortest bits but made me laugh the hardest. Michael you nailed your parts 😂🤣😂🤣
Anthony J is a goat. Over looked. He’s one of the best rn
Jeselnik is my favorite comedian. Forget the supposed "best of" compilations & just listen to his first album, Shakespeare. Solid gold all the way through.
I love anthony
Hes super funny
I hope netflix would give him another special
jeselnik is one of the great comedians of the last 20 years.
Love the Jeselnik!
I saw him live in DC. Most incredible funny performance in my life. He does not disappoint. Do yourself a favor and see him if he is in your city.
When this came across my suggested views I immediately grinned… 😂
Having not seen the video yet. ..I hope Michael knows his bits about religion (if included) are still jokes.
Props to his producers for suggesting Jeselnik he is a legend!
Anthony is great. Definitely dark as hell humor, always loved it
He's really good at bait and switch
Jeselnik was the first stand up I saw where I saw it as art. His best bits are in his roasts of Donald Trump and Charlie Sheen. He doesn't comment on politics because he doesn't believe comedy should and he hates cheap jokes. It's hard to think he's right wing since he dated Amy Schumer for so long but at least he ain't woke.
Perhaps dating Amy made him far right? Lol
He's alluded to being much more left leaning than I would have assumed. I think it was when he was on the Your Mom's House podcast with Tom Segura and his wife. I might be misremembering the show, but I definitely remember him saying it because I was kind of surprised when I heard it based on his humor. I do very much enjoy his standup either way.
There is a clip of him on Larry King saying he approves of political correctness and pro g@y
Oh, that's what made him so dark
@@TooManyBones You're 100% correct. Stopped watching YMH after Segura had the dumbest argument I've ever seen with a fan, trying to cuck for gun control. Insanely unfortunate because of how hilarious he and his wife are. I still watch some of the older episodes sometimes.

Did anyone else notice how when Michael was talking about how non-funny many modern comics are he only showed women? 😭😭
I saw his show in Orlando a few weeks back. I highly recommend it.
He's the greatest ! never expected you to react to him, thats great, i was feeling down today
Michael I think you would really enjoy Nicholas DeSanto. Look up his bit called politically incorrect. He’s definitely channelling Norm’s SNL weekend updated spirit
Haven't even showed him the real juicy ones from Thoughts and Prayers. Also would have been curious to react to his abortion jokes, let's see how those fly the Knowles.
I've nvr heard of him yet this is the kind of comedy & he jst put a name on it for I use it myself & shall take a gander @ his content for what I see, so far so good. 😂😂❤
I love Anthony Jeselnik. His show Jeselnik Offensive was pretty great.
His bit about thoughts & prayers is amazing
Knowles looking for his next best comedian should be a segment , lol! I'd totally watch!
anthony is one of the best.. hes got a netflix special called fire in the maternity ward thats legendary
I heard multiple times a guy brought his fiancé to see his show and she called off the wedding immediately
“I don’t bomb the way other people bomb”
Anthony is great! I was hospitalized last year for heart failure and
I had this young nurse quote an Anthony Jeselnik joke and I immediately finished it with "That was rape joke #2, babydoll." Which made her stop in her tracks and asked if I had heard of Anthony and my wife told her "Anthony Jeselnik is his hero!"
I got great care after that got even better when she found out I am also into The Talking Heads and she also "loved the fact that I was getting my 7 year old grandson into The Heads."
I was back in the hospital again in early February and when she found out, she helped out with my care again.
She also gifted me with one of her watercolor paintings she did.
All thanks to a very twisted Anthony Jeselnik joke. (Caligula)
John Pinette is one of the best comedians I would recommend you to check out. He unfortunately passed away back in the early 2010s but his material still cracks me up all these years later😂
Love this guy!
I like this guy a lot and it's cool to see that you do too.
We need more comedian reactions!!
Jeselnik killed at the Charlie Sheen roast. When he went at Patrice O'Neal...oh man.
If you didn't know, Anthony was the guy most responsible for people believing that Amy Schumer was funny.
Norm was a classic. His standout character in Deuce Bigalow 2 is still something we quote. How about, and hear me out, Colin Quinn? Seems closer to Norm's type of alley.
His first album "Shakespear" is his funniest, for sure.
The B word and C word joke about his buddies wife was hilarious. Loosen up
God Bless Norm MacDonald -- R.I.P. 🙏
I mean I appreciate you making me look up better reactions
He has his own style. The non sequiter. Delivered with intent and one after another, like hooks. Great writer. Every joke is technical so they’re black or white. You either like it or don’t but they’re efficient and don’t miss. Punch after punch. I’d love to see him weave all his jokes into a narrative if he hasn’t. Not needed but it’s not situational. It’s not one-liners.
Nicholas DeSanto is my current favorite comedian.
Anthony Jeselnik is my favourite comedian of all times!
I love how the montage of “unfunny” comedians all had something in common. 😂😂😂
He is funny. Guess I'll look for him on UA-cam.
Jeselnik, Bill Burr, Ricky Gervais, and Jim Jeffries. Those are some of the greats for me.
I liked for angel Norm. RIP.
I'd like to see Michael's reaction if you went to an actual jeselnik show, The jokes he watched RPG compared to a majority of his comedy
I love Norm.
Jeselnik has a joke about Norm. It's funny.
I actually giggled at the (then he didn't hear it from me) 😂😂😂
We need 'Michael Knowles reacts to Jimmy Carr' !
He's so good.
I enjoy his work, and I like his style. One of my personal favorites of his is. (When I was a kid, my parents had a gun. My parents said, "we had to have a gun. Gotta have a gun to protect the five children. Gotta have a gun to protect our five children." Of course, they eventually got rid of it..to protect their four children)
I dunno, that "..then he didn't hear it from me" line busts me up every time i hear it. That's a great joke.
Man that Lilly Singh gif from her comedy special gave me flashbacks like a war veteran
Look up him talking about being on Last Comic Standing with Norm Macdonald.
Also a Norm fan boy...respect
Bryan Reagan would be a good one to follow.
I recommend Leanne Morgan and Brian Regan. Both very clean too.
I love Leanne!
omg what movie is that when they say "now is the part when we throw our backs head and laugh"???
I'd be interested to see Michael Knowles react to Shane Gillis' down syndrome bits. They are lowkey very prolife.
He's a legend. Worked with Norm and has some great stories about it
The majority of modern comedians just tell stories that drag on forever. Stories that we might relate to. Some are amusing, but basically never laugh out loud funny.
Anthony is in my top 5, based on the fact he has 100’s of jokes and material, not stories.
My favorite joke of his: My siser and her husband moved to a new house near a cell phone tower, and shes afraid itll affect the health of her children....if....they could stop having miscarriages.
My favourite joke of his was "who was it that said the first million is the hardest? Was it Hitler?"
Jeselnik is a huge Norm fan!
If you enjoy Anthony and Norm, I’ve seen great recommendations like Steven Wright, Mitch Hedburg, but a couple more are Bill Burr (one of the greatest) and Shane Gillis (he’s up and coming and Norm even gave him his blessing before he passed)
Ryan Long live was amazing. Michael would love it
"My grandmother died, which is already tragic, but after the autopsy we learned that she died in the worst way possible... during an autopsy."
my favorite is the kid, playing hide & seek
We need to show Michael Theo Von’s random one liners 😂
Michael needs to see Anthony’s live reaction to the news that Norm had passed away. Anthony was in an interview on some video podcast and after initial shock appeared to be deeply disturbed by the news. Who knows? Maybe Norm just owed him a lot of money or something, but I still think Michael would have increased respect for him.
I guess because im an asshole but Anthony has been one of my favorites for a while
You gotta watch Anthony Jeselnik on the Donald Trump Roast. 😆
Another good one to check out is Mark Normand.
