Yah, we had some issues with Final Cut Pro and apologize for the video quality. But we are happy some of you still seemed to like it.
I hope the car sounds like the movie car. That will be a masterpiece, also, is one of the best engine sounds I ever heard 👌🏻 probably a single turbo will do the trick.
The original movie car had the sound added in the editing room. We are hoping it will sound pretty close, but even if it doesn't it'll be a pretty quick car!

Adrian is more entertaining than I thought. In combination with his incredible skills he could have his own mini series. Like tech talk or explaining the process of certain jobs he's doing.
We've been after him to be on camera more, but he finds it too distracting for his work process. Still though, he's funny as hell.

Yup, it was not actually a UA-cam issue this time. It was a Final Cut issue.
Loved this episode. I prefer the longer, more in depth looks into what you guys get done in the shop. It not only helps me with my builds as far as knowledge, it also shames me into getting into my new engine clean room to get that brand new OEM 1.5JZ build assembled.

Twin turbo? Not gonna be the same sound with Brian's R34.
The original movie car was twin turbo. The soundtrack may not have been but we are choosing to replicate the look more than the sound.
You guys should get it dry ice cleaned easier gets it cleaner and less mess
This project didn't need the dry ice treatment. However, we do have a certain Subaru that could use one.

🎉😊The RB26 head will bolt straight up, but you'll need to close off the front VVT oil feed. The RB26 head also has 12mm bolt holes and the RB25 uses 11mm.
We are glad people are digging some of the more technical talk. We always worry we will lose some people.

The movie car had twin turbos. We sort of based it on the movie car not so much the soundtrack.
You can make the from the movie just buy a trust t78 set up kit they sount just like the movie
We think this setup will still produce lots of power and our primary focus on this build was to make it look the part more than sound the part.

There never was going to an RB26 for this project. We wanted to showcase the might of the RB25 and share with the US market looking to buy GT-Ts just how much you can do with them. Not everyone can afford a GT-R and that's okay. We wanted to share ways to make some power from their NEO engines.

Compared to buying a $140K GT-R or spending a fortune on brakes to match the ones in the movie...yah, we see it as a bit more budget! haha...
doing rb26 twin turbos is diabolical. talk about a nightmare. rotated single turbo is significantly better in every way, you dont need to do injectors, or coil packs, ect. you can literally just rotate the turbo, get a downpipe made and thats it.
We don't mind doing things the hard way! We got this.

Why is the quality of the 360p video so bad?
The quality is so bad because we are all so spoiled with 4K! Final Cut Pro failed us and we apologize to your eyeballs for having to watch it.

What’s with the strut towers? Was there an added piece of metal or were they rebuilt?? If not rebuilt, too bad as guaranteed there’s rust under there.

It wasn't really meant to look factory. It was meant to remove any sign of rust and still provide strength and structure.

Hi!. My name is Mike, I am writing to you from Ukraine. I'm a big fan of the Fast and Furious franchise and I adore Skyline from the second installment. I myself collect mini models of Fast and Furious. I have a few questions about the project. 1) Why don't you work with the RB26 engine?. 2) Will the sound of the engine be similar to how it was in the movie? 3) There will be a release, how to install nitro and neon?. 4) And how is Eclipse doing, there was no video about it for a long time. I was so excited when you did the recap on Sypra and I immediately loved your content. Thank you for your work and the opportunity to see the best cars for a long time. I will be grateful for the answer.
Hello Mike! Thanks for the great comment. We are still waiting on some funding for the Eclipse since this project is being paid for by a charity not from our pockets. We hope this explains why it's our slowest moving Fast and Furious project. We decided not to go with an RB26 because we are only aiming for strong power not all the power. The Supra we built was meant to showcase our talents in creating a better version of the original. With the 2F2F Skyline we dialed things back since it was not a real GT-R to begin with. For this project we wanted to show off our skills with building a metal wide body GT-T and pay respect to the GT-R (by not painting one silver after paying $140k USD for one). The RB25 Neo is a strong engine to start with and we wanted to showcase just how much you can do with a great starting point. Showing the US buyers market they don't need to spend $140k on a GT-R to have fun! The movie car itself was a twin turbo car but we suspect the soundtrack was a single turbo. We suspect the sound will be different, but still an amazing fire breathing Godzilla. The NOS and the Neon installs may just be a few clips of the process and not a full explanation.
