Lol.. Everyone's follow each other..Nice catch!! You guys rented the boat? Never fish there before and are they good eaten? Do they taste like crappie or more of a blue gills?
Wow that was a ruff ride out there..... Sticking with it and finding some better water to fish yielded a good box of fish.....Bleeding all fish gives them a better flavor.....Nice Catches
*What size reel do you prefer for ultralight rods* 1000 or 2000 Because I just bought myself a rod all the way from Tokyo. Called a mebaring x light, and it has slightly bulky reel seat (Eva) built for comfort, but the tip action is soft and forgiving. so I don’t want to buy a big ass reel like a 3000 bc the rod rates 2-5 lbs test line, also don’t want to small like a 500 size, would be way too small.
Yes. You can tell the difference if you eat a lot of crappie and know the taste well. It’s a tad firmer than crappie. To me it’s cross between crappie and bluegill. It is a very long drive. That’s why we didn’t want to pull a boat this time.
Nice! You guys always catching it even without electronics. Going there next weekend! I’m from Sacramento and I’m curious to know which route is a better drive. Which route did you take? Again great video!
Was out there last weekend and it was 🔥🔥🔥. First time fishing for them and they aren’t as easy to catch as I thought. But once I figured out the location and bait down it was so fun catching them.
Love watching your videos
Nice place nice spot. And nice boat. Amazing videos more. Fish to catch power
Thank you so much
Nice catch. I love that ride down 395. I drove it once from Reno to Mojave. Spent some time fishing round Bishop. Good times.
It’s a long but a nice ride. Thanks.

To me they’re cross between crappie and bluegills. Yes we did rent a boat. Hauling my boat for 5 hours just don’t seemed feasible. Thanks.
How did u guys rig up?
Same as fishing for crappie, same lures too.
You two are the crappie masters! Impressive!
Thank you so much
Good job guys. Heading to Crowley tomorrow from Clearlake
Now that’s a long drive. Thank you.
Beautiful
Thanks for stopping by.

I’m using the 1000 for all my panfish stuff thanks.
Beautiful fish! Looks like a brindle crappie! First time ever seeing one. Thanks! Love your vids!
Thank you so much I really appreciated.
Great video! They almost look like crappie.
In some ways yes they do. Thanks.
What are those fish ? What like is this u guys are real Fisher people in that wind getting it in hats off to u
They’re called Sacramento Perch. They’re kind of like crappies.
if i were to have a blind taste test, will i taste the difference from crappie? unless its really good, drive is too long for me.

@@fishingaddict5638 thanks, never had a Sacramento perch before.. wonder how they come up with the name of the fish..
I think they were originally around Sacramento before they were transplanted to other places back in the days.
How much they charge for the boat rental?
This one was $85 for a whole day or until 5pm.
That is quite a drive. Awesome catches though
Thank you.
Interesting outing again. Why was it necessary to bleed each fish…was their taste or filet color not up to par last trip? Just curious.
I thought it tasted a tad muddy/fishy. So thought we would try blessing to see if it made a difference but no. Maybe no more trip here.
@@fishingaddict5638 Very useful and honest feedback as usual…big thanks!
Nice job. What bait or lure did you use?
We’re both using crappie jigs just like fishing for crappies. Thanks.

I usually just follow google maps. 50 to 88 then 89 to 395 then you’ll hit the lake. Good luck
