REST IN PEACE, THE BEST BASSIST WHAT I EVER SEEN IN ALL MY LIFE.
LOVE THIS VIDEO ♥
RIP JACO hope you are at ease now. We will always love you.
Wish I could see complete footage of the toss in the air at the end. Seen this clip for ages and always think about that ending, how it landed. RIP maestro
この曲、和音のところがやさしくて大好きなんよね。
技術的にジャコより上手い人はたくさんいるのかもしれんけどさ、なんというか、この魂で唄う感覚、、ジミ・ヘンドリックスと同じく唯一無二だわ。
Yes
Best guy ever
Jaco was here
and. ....the question is. ...where is this bass after this final ?
Robert trujillo has it restored now
@@enzolome Nope. Robert Trujillo rescued the bass and thanks to him, we know where it is now. Jaco didn't break his bass that night in Japan. He broke it in 1986 and his luthier, Kevin Kaufmann restored it. It doesn't look like it used to be. Jaco recorded Mood Swings, on Mike Stern's solo album with the restored bass and lost it a couple weeks after. It reappeared in 2002 and Robert Trujillo bought it in 2010 or 2011.
Trujillo gave it to Jaco's family.
The legend tells that that bass was years in the air, flying aroun Japan and rest of the world. Finally Pastorius went to heaven and catched it and played the last harmonics of America. Hope everyone at that gig was paying attention til the end! Believe me or not. So that's why i believe we can all agree that Trujillos bass is fake.
Legend also says that the bass still spins in the air to this day
I think Jaco had tell people to sssush at around 2:13
good eye, he definitely did
jacoo
Pastorius ! Not Pastrious .. silly !
@God Speed It's wrong but easy to fix
Forgivable.
Wooing and clapping at every note he plays... Worst crowd ever, they aren't even paying attention to this piece of art.
It's Japan, I would argue that they appreciated every note he played more than Americans ever could. They love virtuosity.
Because youre not allowed to woo and clap for something that makes you happy
i was gonna say, the feedback from the crowd is probably the best part of this; the audience hung on every note and loved every twist he threw into the song. they were paying incredible attention to the performance, and you can feel it when they go almost dead silent during the subtle parts, then proceed to go ape shit when he lets them finally have that big cheese payoff resolution!
I think Jaco liked this crowd, he looks very much into it
This is just how crowds are in that part of the world. South Koreans love it too
I guess if he stuck his finger in the nose the audience would go nuts too! :)
Loser
