    I'm new to the whole "Bullet Journal" thing but fell in love with it instantly. After watching the initial video on how bullet journalling works by the creator I watched a few others to see how people make theirs individual and I just have to say that yours is my favourite by far I think. I love the way you doodle and how nothing is too cluttered or over the top. I've noticed that some people tend to cover them in washi tape and stickers and it all just reminds me being a seven year-old, your way appeals to me so much more and I can't wait to fill up my own bullet journal.

    • @Bohoberryshop
      @Bohoberryshop  9 років тому

      +Charles Henry Arthur Thanks a bunch! I too find that stickers and washi just clutter the page for me. I like to keep it simple but still "pretty" if that makes sense? :)

    • @CharlesHenryArthur
      @CharlesHenryArthur 9 років тому

      +Boho Berry yes! I agree completely. What I also love about bullet journals is that they can be pretty but functional and useful. I can't stand when things are too much one way or the other. Unlike my filofax I can have everything in one place and draw straight there on the page. I've always been drawn to those old journals with drawings and illustrations and if love to incorporate that and make my own style. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply! Love the desk by the way.

    Flipping through you Bullet Journal makes me realize that there's no "right" way to do one of these! I'm tossing around the idea of beginning one for 2017 but when I first saw one on Pinterest, I was worried that I wasn't creative enough. Your video has proven that I don't need to be!

    Thanks for this! I ran across you on pinterest and found your blog and then you tube. I have started journals many times over the years to never continue for more than 6 months. I discovered bullet journals by accident and love the idea. You take it to a pretty and creative level. I'll have to watch this several times! Thanks for sharing!

    I'm not even half way through the video and I've learned so many strategies; and brand new things as well (the miracle morning, the whole30, etc). It's taking me so long to get through the video because there is quite a bit of stopping and note-taking. WONDERFUL video - the best I have seen in quite a while. THANK YOU!

      +Day2DayWithMcK BTW... that Amy Poehler quote about "great people do things before they are ready.." hit me at the exact right time/place. Too often I procrastinate because tend to I want to start projects KNOWING I won't make mistakes - so I convince myself I'll research some more.. and then >> delay upon delay.
      The very next page... the "Change Your Words-Change Your MindSet" is going to be sent TODAY to my girlfriend in Chicago who is stuck in a self-induced rut. WOW! I hope she hears the wisdom there!
      Like I say, this video is a WEALTH of info - and I am only half way through. But I just had to stop and say, "thank you, thank you, thank you!!"

    Watching you go through your journal here is literally like looking at my life!! There are SO MANY things in there that I have incorporated into my life, from the Abraham quotes, to the KonMarie method, to the 30 day Affirmation Challenge (on day 30), to the Miracle Morning, the Level 10 life, The Gratitude Journal. Wow, it's kind of blowing my mind. (: Loved the post, very inspiring.

    Your bullet journal is so unique. I am a die hard planner user and I was always frustrated with the planner set up because I have always liked to make comments about my day and I was always so limited by the space in a planner. I also used to like to doodle in my notebooks and after watching this video I have learned that I can now incorporate all that I love into one notebook. Journaling | bullet list | doodling | tracking | planning. So far I am copying some of your pages but I hope to evolve into my own style as you have. Thank you for sharing your creativity!

    I found you through a pin that popped up in my pinterest feed. That took me to your blog, which lead me to your YT channel and eventually to this video. The first video I watch was the moleskine v leuchtturm. I found bullet journing towards the mid-end of 2015 and fell in love with it. Started to try and but couldn't make it work so I walked away and went back to my normal planner, which I'm currently using. The pin on pinterest was about future log/planning. Having read your post and watched this video, I can see now how I can make bullet journalling work for me, which makes me happy because as soon as I saw it I thought what a great system. This video has given me heaps of ideas and inspiration on how to make it fit my life rather me trying to fit in the bullet journal life (if that makes sense). So, thanks for do this video, much appreciated. Now subscribed for more ideas. Cheers

    Best bullet journal flip through I have seen so far. I loved watching your progression and how you changed different things to make the bullet journal work for you. A lot of other flip throughs tried to go down a path of perfection with their bullet journals which made it seem more stressful to start up. I love how raw and honest you are with what worked what didn't. Thank you for this it's made it easier to start off

    This has made the bullet journal appeal to both sides of my type-A/creative brain! Thank you for sharing!!!! It has given me the motivation to try this system once again. Last year when I tried this I got tied up in the organization but felt it took up too much time and left none for creative outlets which I need desperately. Now I see that I can have BOTH! I am using a lot of your tips and ideas and even came up with a few of my own. :)

    I want to have a bullet journal but I know I'm gonna forget half the time to fill it up! Also I am a very boring person, I'm 18, live with my parents, almost never go out, stay inside watching TV all the time or sleeping...I have a normal journal where I write how I feel like once a month and another one for doodles and that's it. I don't know how I would keep up a bullet journal but I really want to try!! Any tips? x

      I am in the exact same spot as you right now. Bullet journaling seems so cool yet still a bit intimidating! Maybe it'll be a cool thing to do once school rolls around again. I feel like mine would have more collections than anything

      Hey! I'm also 18, in pretty much the same situation! I've had a bullet journal for like a month now, and I usually use it for my work schedule, and you can absolutely put lists and all your doodles and journal entries in it! The bojo pretty much fits anything and everything you want inside ☺️

      Maybe start with a "habit tracker". Things you want to do more that increase good habits & productivity. You might get started with a list then once you get going might find out that you edit it and change it - thats very common. You can Pinterest search habit tracker for lots of ideas. Give it a try. : )

    How did you learn to write pretty letters that way? Or was it all natural? I'm old enough to have had penmanship classes in school (lol) yet several decades later my writing still looks like a drunk three year old. Wondering if I will be able to do this system if my notebook is a big mess. Thanks for your video.

      you don't need to draw or doodle, use tiny collages, press flowers, embroidery thread, ... you can buy little stickers for kids and pick appropriate images (like emoticons). I think the point is to play with it.
      no one else needs to see it. you try stuff out find out what works for you. if you want to be neater, it's ok to start messy. the point is you keep trying and then you can look back at yr progress.
      and if you decide you're just messy then make messy into a virtue - so long as it works for you.
      of course if the bullet journal doesn't work for you, you don't need to use it. it's ok.

      The secret of it is to spend some time looking for things that inspire you. I don't know what exactly happens in our brains, but once you have seen a lot of these things, you will authomatically create new ones. =)

I think I'll do some brush lettering and calligraphy practice as well just so I can make pretty journals as well. Thank you so much for this video.

    I've watched this video three times already ever since I saw this pop up on my UA-cam recommended video list (which was yesterday). I don't know why, but I find that looking through your journal oddly relaxing hahaha. I had to leave a comment because I ended up starting my bullet journal yesterday because of your videos. I ended up combining all the three notebooks that I was using into one. I'm so excited to actually finish a notebook. Also, how do you find a pen pal? I bought Carroll's book The Bullet Journal Method (as well as a journal and Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pen). I then decided to explore bullet journaling here on UA-cam and landed here. Glad I did!! You mentioned tracking your Morning Miracle and I'm like huh? Googled it and immediately bought it for my Kindle. Wow!!! Please know that the time you take to put your content out there has changed me deeply in the span of about an hour. My life has been in a terrible rut. I will use the Miracle Morning as the foundation to change it! I now know my purpose l, who I want to be, and where I want to go. My journal theme is a candle. Like a candle, we know out life will burn out someday but for a brief time we can let it burn bright and hot! Thank you again. I am a new subscriber.

    How organized! And so fun to let your creativity come through in such an important activity (time management). A hard thing I'm struggling with is getting my journals and planners to be picture perfect, I finally gave up and let my journal take whatever shape I felt like putting it in that day (ADD makes a comprehensive style tough!) This was an awesome video. It really helped me see that you can make your bullet journal what you want. Especially with mistakes! And you didn't even put an entire year in one book and even skipped a week!!! My OCD side has always constrained me that everything must be uniform, perfectly neat and all pages planned out for the year, and inevitably, sometime during the year, that system fails.
