He could also scale up his already made xm1147 round he did that’s in 20mm to 50mm and that could potentially increase range without changing anything
Fun fact, theres an ammunition for the Carl Gustav called the (Area Defense Munition) ADM/401. Its essentially a shell loaded with about 2000 steel flechettes that get fired out like a shotgun.

recoiless here means that the round leaves the tube before the recoil takes over, so the round actually goes where you aimed
