excellent point about the idea of having a suppressor in an urban setting, in the 'new normal'. Ive been tossing back and forth which to buy next, NV or a suppressor.
Something I’d like to see is a 5.7 pdw with the mag in the grip of the firearm. Keep it simple with a direct blowback system so even cheap .22 cans will work with no boosters. Have a rear pic rail and an optic mount that isn’t on the slide so the window doesn’t bounce that much. Have slim but high cap mags. That or have civvie mp7s

Im looking at picking up an mp5k and some soft armor for exactly this reason. Things continue to get more and more silly, and it doesn't hurt to have a step up in capability sometimes
Plenty of vendors out there, but for hot climates would still recommend pure aramid (Kevlar/Twaron) construction to avoid delamination and progressive weakening of the panels if you accidentally leave it in your car on a summer day.

I was going down the PCC route but found that the MCX in the 6.75 300bo config actually fit the same applications ie my particular bag sizes, vehicle storage etc. I think I'd be interested though in a Flux/Roni type system for perhaps the new 10mm 320 or the new 5.7 M&P. ETA - I still have the urge to add a GHM9 compact or TP9 loadout to the arms room!
Please. Do not buy a tp9 until you fry fire one. If you as dumb as me, the first one you lay your hands on is one you bought from the internet. You will be very dissatisfied.
Meh. 5.7 out of a pistol is super lame. You were right to go the shorty .300 BLK. Your getting way more capability and versatility. Albeit at more weight.
Fun idea, fanny/waist pack for that pouch that carries ammo and IFAK supplies. You could quickly attach said bag to your waist comfortably, unlike attaching a large molle pouch to your belt, which would be connected less than optimally and would take longer to attach to your belt.
I had pretty much given up on PCCs over a SBR but brass facts convinced me there’s definitely room for them, specially if they are as compact as the TP9/TP380. Does anybody knows a clone that takes Glock mags? I kinda have a collection of them, specifically of the extra long variety, the type Y T doesn’t like to be shown on video…
I mean, if you’re into 3D printing, there’s a bunch of files out there for free of Glock-based PDW’s. The model is called the Invader. There’s models for G19’s, G17’s, G34’s, G17L’s, and even a G20L 😉 Oh yeah and there’s a file that uses the P320 FCU too.
I feel like carrying around night vision in a city setting for a “get home bag” is a bit excessive. You got to remember that takes batteries and in that scenario your not gonna have a place to recharge. In a true bug out bag sure but in something I’m carrying around I’d rather carry extra batteries for white light and medical
We need this in larger pistol calibers. 10mm or hot loaded 45 (hue hue hue 460 Rowland) would be amazing. Not just as a SHTF setup but as a wildlife defense gun a 10mm pdw would be an amazing option for hikes in the woods

Like the idea of a full auto pistol for the shift get home vehicle bag for its capabilities and force multiplying abilities.... however.... a full auto (any to honest) is not a long term weapon as it will always at some point fail to fire, as FA subguns are made for limited engagements not multiple engagements. So I ask, is a full auto subgun good or pass on this concept?

I have an idea for a new video. Test the light emissions out the front of all red dots and holos and illuminated LPVOs and prisms you can get your hand on under night vision. Is it just fudd lore that an enemy with NVs would be able to see your scope emissions even when "passive" aiming? Or does it make sense that Sig wants to sell their $3k red dot without front reflection?
it depends, if the dot is cranked to 11, it's very lightly visible within about 20 yards (eotech included) Past that meh If it's on a low setting. No it's invisible
Saw you running that Strike Industries! What are you thoughts on it compared to the Flux Raider and TP9? Lefty as well looking to get one of those options for my PDW
@@MyLonewolf25 I wouldn't, TBH. I don't like the lack of a safety, but even if you don't care the fit and finish is very rough. Like I had to sand the chassis so it wouldn't rough up and make my hands raw (where the beavertail would be). The glock will wiggle in the chassis, which means the side mounted red dot mount (optional extra) probably doesn't hold the best zero. When you tense up on the brace (not with my shoulder, don't shoot my dog ATF) the whole thing flexes. I know you can make plastic stronger than that. To clean it, you have to take it apart with a screw. One day I will lose the screw, or fuck up the threads, or strip it. You will also probably mess up your zero. All in all, I wouldn't recommend it other than to try the concept to see if you would like something like the flux raider. I have it on an airsoft gun now; waiting for the glock raider to release.
First time seeing this channel and enjoyed it. You guys are, in a nutshell, who and why I did what I did and do what I do. Keep training fellas and go get you some when it’s time to get you some 🇺🇸
The suppressor can definitely come in handy, for both the reasons he gives. As well as, I don't mind going a little bit deaf for a minute. But in shit situation, that loss of hearing can really screw you over. Plus who doesn't want to be able to attack silently, like a ninja or assassin.

I feel like the justifications for the B&T would also apply to the Flux if you had the available side rails and a proper threaded barrel + can. For me, the added benefit of the Flux is that I can pull it out of the Raider and have it available as a CCW where the grey bags won’t be permissible. Same reason I keep the MDR. Ultra low profile and fits into a bag where other rifles would stick out and cause problems.
@@BrassFacts also, I have pics of my grey bag with Flux and the BF patch. Not sure if you guys have a discord or a place to send them but it’s cool to have a Flux patch on the Flux bag. Dog sold separately.

I really like a backpack for this kind of thing, mostly because you can put a ballistic panel in it and rock it backwards, when away from you plate carrier.
You should take a look at the unobtainium gear LV-9. Supposed to be a low vis chest rig. I feel like that would work really well in a civilian unrest situation. Looks very minimal and would easily hide under an over shirt or jacket. Quick access to a couple mags or tournament/radio but nothing more. Gonna try one out when they are back in stock.
My bag, that I take to work everyday, aside from having my party flavors, I also have food, first aid, change of clothes, things to wash myself with. It's not that light. My car even has change of boots and another jacket and a bunch of other stuff. Of course, the heavy stuff will be left behind if my car is down, but I'm mostly prepared to get the hell out of where I currently am.
I have a CMMG Dissent 5.7x28 and FN Five-seveN MKIII in my bag. With 5.7 I can carry 400 extra rnds with minimum weight and space taken up. In my waistline I always have a FN 509CT. I know the 5.7 is a hated round but it fits my needs perfectly.
Wooooo Dissent gang. I also like spending a bunch of money on ammo so I got the .300 blackout Dissent + strike industries folder. Fun pistol to conceal so long as you have a jacket on

Just from the title and thumbnail I can already feel the upcoming pressure to leave the rifle and carry a PDW. Not that I don’t want one, I’m just a poor.
Step One: Acquire AR-10 and 300 rounds of ammo Step Two: Hike into the nearest mountain ridge with enough supplies for a month (multiple trips are ok) Step Three: Become the Rocky Mountain Terror
I’d be curious to hear your thoughts on something like a 10mm version of what’s essentially a Flux Raider. Would the increased ballistic ability be worth it? Especially if paired with a different caliber CCW, like a 9mm, I wondered if the increased in firepower would be worth dealing with not being able to interchange mags and ammo from one’s main carry gun. Unless you wanna be a big boi and EDC a Best Millimeter to accompany it, but I just don’t see many people doing that. In my eyes, a 10mm Flux Raider option would be excellent. Still extremely compact and controllable (especially if paired with a comp), yet offers double the energy of a 9mm. There are 3D printed glock-based versions of the Flux Raider out there, called the Invader, and there’s a file for an Invader Heavy model that utilizes G20L slides and barrels. Seems like a winning combo to me, but I also have zero hands-on time with any PDW as of yet, so I’d be very interested in your opinion on this. Edit: Ok so I’ve been scrolling and reading the comments for literally the last 30 minutes and I see the other comments about 10mm and some of your replies. Seems you would be in favor of a 10mm PDW, but I’ve never heard you say anything about printed pew pews. I get that most people aren’t into printing and it introduces a lot of variables into the picture, but there are some very noticeable benefits of printed guns. Especially, in this context, Glock-based PDW’s. Don’t have to wait on Flux to make any more molds when you can just print one and use readily available glonk components.
I mean by that logic, would we not all just have handguns? Which, fair enough. But I feel like the last couple of years have shown the need for preparing for temporary loss of civil services is not at all out of the realm of reason since it literally happened
I like your videos. I’m really fluctuating on whether to get that TP nine suppressor or not for my TP9. I have a rugged obsidian nine and a wolfman that should be approved any day hopefully so the TP9 suppressor would literally be for that gun only. Is it’s sound performance, any good? It’s so large you would think it would be good but it’s that new reduced back pressure design and I’ve heard some comments that it’s not as quiet as the old one. I don’t know whether to invest money in one or just buy an extra barrel guide, and have it modified for the WolfmanQ m
Always look forward to your videos! Wow your clone with hair and glasses !! Who are we to judge your life style , keep up the good work.🤔 Also remember the mustaches really don't hide your identities nor get you chicks, just great EDC's do !

Recently moved to a rural area. Like 40 miles away from a major city but close enough if I ever want to visit, but overall I’m not far from a highway, I have land, what few neighbors I have are like minded folks into preparedness so I feel like I hit the jackpot. I started off in a major metro armed to the teeth, but not I’m in a solid house on a piece of land armed to the teeth. Riots would never reach even remotely near here. Also it gets very dark at night, so the nods help.
I like the idea of having something with multiple points of contact, can be deployed fairly quickly and if it takes interchangeable mags with your edc than just bonus points right? I used to have a 9mm pcc for my bag gun but wanted a rifle round and now switch from a Galil Ace Gen 2 x39 8.3” and an AR in 300blk but both take fairly good sized backpacks to carry. Would be nice having something like a B&T or Flux. Something that small that you can have a decent sized bags instead you f a 40L backpack lol
I live in the Midwest. So most things aren’t likely to go down here. But in a civil unrest scenario. An ar platform is literally the perfect thing. And a full length one at that
Wish there was a decent review of the recover tactical brace system WITH the optic mount attachment. Unfortunately where I live behind enemy lines that is the only attainable pdw setup.
I’m working on setting up my travel bag, but I’m taking a little bit different of an approach. I travel all over the state every day for work, it’s not out of the ordinary to be 100 miles from home on a daily basis, so I’m making a contingency bag. It it will live my 12.5” and 24 hours of sustainment. But I want a little more capability, and I’m willing to carry it into the house every evening and back out to the car in the morning. Just different philosophies. All is good as long as you know your own reason “why”
I work in armed protection, so I always have my plate carrier, rifle, spare mags, water, pistol, flashlight with spare battery pack I can charge devices with, gloves, snacks, hoodie and jacket that are big enough I can put over plate carrier and no one would ever know I was wearing body armor.
Here is another option way more convenient and less expensive. I carry a G19 concealed with raised tritium sights which has an orange dot on the front sight for daytime use, and two spare 15 rd mags in my pocket. I also carry in a day pack a weapons light and the original version of the 14 inch USA One Shot non NFA pistol brace which is both very light, compact, and sturdy, and two candy bars ( 31 rd mags). I haven’t needed a laser but a combo light laser might just make it a perfect system. I don’t need or want a can, or for a can to hang me up in tight spaces. My current in the pants draw is very quick and I am not willing to sacrifice that. Nor do I want a heavy day pack. I agree with your concept. When it’s time for a AR 15 we won’t need to hide it. A pistol carbine is more realistic. My setup is for every day carry. If you want to plus up your defense a Dynema plate ( Vism) 3A plate or strike face 3A plus are lighter in weight than steel and can fit in a small day pack ( 10X12) or messenger bag. Stay safe
Did you make this for the poor folks down in Memphis? Because the public just bought a ticket they didn’t ask for, to front row seats for their city about to be burnt down.
@@BrassFacts thanks for the reply and I was looking at the tp9 but it seems flimsy as well as expensive. Chassis pistols don't have enough rail space and also seems flimsy. And seeing how bunch of covert people use them back in like the 70s and 80s it seems like it might be a good option especially since it has all that capability for mounting tactical whizz-bangs
Let's say there's an active shooter with a pistol. You pull out an smg and kill them, won't every bystander assume you're the active shooter since almost nobody would conceal carry something that large?
I like PDWs and all, but I'll stick with my firearm (it will be an SBR soon I just don't have the paperwork or a stock on it). It's more useful in my area, and I don't actually travel all that much anyway. Furthest I would feasibly go is 100 miles away to one of the cities with a good milsurp store

Absolutely, step up PSA! I want the Rock57 PCC with a can 😊

I have that same vertex sling bag. It's pretty nice. But one thing I don't like about it is that if I'm carrying anything over 10lbs, my shoulder will feel the fatigue really quickly.

@@BrassFacts My question is did he utilize the added strap to carry it more like a backpack? My guess is that would have taken some of the load off his shoulder... Guess I'll find out when mine arrives next week
@@cevisuals that strap helps a bit. But majority of the weight will still be concentrated on one of your shoulder. If I carry a pistol with three spare mags + a laptop, I can only carry it for about 30 minutes then it will become quite uncomfortable.

The ghm9 with an upgraded trigger is cool. But you can get into a Ap5p cheaper and it’s a lot more fun.
Please. Do not buy a tp9 until you fry fire one. If you as dumb as me, the first one you lay your hands on is one you bought from the internet. You will be very dissatisfied.
@@caseysmith8831 Definitely taking your advice on the TP9 😄
Another thing, the GHM9 is not nearly as compact as it looks. Theres a massive area behind the pistol grip that takes up a lot of room.

For sure.

We need this in larger pistol calibers. 10mm or hot loaded 45 (hue hue hue 460 Rowland) would be amazing. Not just as a SHTF setup but as a wildlife defense gun a 10mm pdw would be an amazing option for hikes in the woods

Is it just fudd lore that an enemy with NVs would be able to see your scope emissions even when "passive" aiming? Or does it make sense that Sig wants to sell their $3k red dot without front reflection?
it depends, if the dot is cranked to 11, it's very lightly visible within about 20 yards (eotech included)

@@BrassFacts what’s bad about the execution of it?
@@MyLonewolf25 just rushed. badfitmen and design
@@BrassFacts what’s your opinion/experience with the recover tactical one then?

Dude, brass, what if you used a Masterpiece Arms 930DMG instead of the TP9?
Step One: Acquire AR-10 and 300 rounds of ammo
Step Two: Hike into the nearest mountain ridge with enough supplies for a month (multiple trips are ok)
Step Three: Become the Rocky Mountain Terror
My favorite videos to justify all the money spend on a possible scenario that I might face...that is 99.99% not happening.

I'm personally holding out for the Disney or Netflix remake of band of brothers.
oh god please no.
Stay safe
